How do you print from the Prime and what software and printer do you use? I am thinking of buying the Prime, but I must be able to print emails and web pages.
Many thanks
It looks like Wi-Fi Direct (a new feature on ICS) will allow printing using a Wi-Fi compatible printer, but there are also a lot of apps that do this (ie CloudPrint).
Where do you find this?

I use PrinterShare (in Market). I had this for my old tablet (Viewsonic Gtab) and it works well. My old HP LJ4 has a JetDirect network card, so I don`t have to have a PC sharing to use it.
WiFi direct is the feature he was talking about. Something thats supposed to be baked into ics.nothing to do with a seperate app.

Exactly - if he had a clue he would know that you do not search the market for something that is supposedly a built-in feature of ics, so his witty insight is pretty much useless. Wi-fi Direct was mentioned as something new in ics, does anyone have any additional details on this?

On my phone I use "PrinterShare Mobile Print" combined with a Brother 2070N printer. My computer doesn't need to be on or have anything installed since my printer is connected directly to my router. The app simply allows me to print pretty much anything from my phone. I got it free during one of Amazon's free paid apps of the day. It's kind of spendy otherwise.
I haven't tried it on ICS or the Prime yet but it works fine on an Evo Shift and a Nexus S 4G.

Use search. Google is your friend.

Basically i hate my work supplied phone (buttons dont respond , touchscreen is crap etc etc) the only good thing about it is the unlimited data plan , so what I wanted to do was tether my prime to the phone via bluetooth or wireless then be able to use my prime for making and recieving calls . So far i've connecte via bluetooth but that doesn't seem to do anything for me.
Any ideas ?

You'll need something like phone to phone "Teamviewer" app
If you got google voice you could try sipdroid

I have an HTC desire z and I was wondering if it was possible to connect my phone to the tablet via Bluetooth and use my phone as a keyboard and touch pad for the prime?

Not that I know of...you should start coding.
Yes you can! There is a free app called tablet remote, lets you do that and much more. Very good imo install on on both tab and phone and you can use phone to control prime and also other way too.

Lol....I totally want to use my phone as a remote for my already mobile tablet which is the remote for my PC which is the remote for my TV now
down with TV remotes!!!!!!!!!
Searching hasn't yeilded a yes/no on exactly what I'm looking for yet.
Picked up a touchpad, running AOKP Build 37 right now.
Just wondering if there is an app (to install on my atrix and my touchpad in android) to sync them together in terms of SMS send/receive, so that when I am using the tablet I can receive my texts directly there and reply right there and also have that sync'd to the phone. Even if it was only when on the same wifi network that would be fine.
App called tablet talk works over wifi or Bluetooth.

Hey I use mysms between my phone, tablet and laptop. Works very well; I get texts on my tablet almost at exactly the same time as they come to my phone.

Hey guys!
So I love my Nexus 10... but I don't know what to do with it!
I watch videos and read pdfs on it, but these two don't really take up much time.
I wanna use my Nexus for more things but I don't know what!
What do you guys do on your Nexus 10?
First world problems... why did you buy your Nexus 10 anyway?
Start shifting your PC tasks over to it. Web browsing for one. This forum, for that matter. A Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and you'll be surprised at how much productivity you can get out of it.

I use it for almost anything, as I got rid of my laptop so all I have now is my N10 and my cellphones. Movies, music, shopping, messaging, reading up on stuff, and prett heavy on emails and evernote my work needs, skyping. So yeah pretty much everthing I would do on my laptop.

I use these programs interchangeably between all my devices and could go on and on.. much easier to just pick one of these up then even get on my notebook unless I need a torrent or something.. probably could do that on here too
People on xda complain about everything lol . After purchasing his tablet this man is complaining because he doesn't know what to do with it . hahahahahahahahajajajajajajajahaj

You can text from it. I've seen several people recommend tablet talk. You have to buy it, and I've never tried it before, but the principle is to text from your tablet. I might try it when mine gets in today

Google Voice is free, and allows you to text mobile numbers.
I duct taped my Nexus 10 to a Swiffer today and mopped the floor with it.. It also makes a great spatula for getting fresh baked chocolate chip cookies off the baking pan

But then you have to change your number to a GV number, and doing that would be problematic for me. Am I right in thinking this?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Change what number? Your tablet isn't a phone. It links to your GMail account, and you can create a new phone number that can ring your devices on making a new account. If you mean texting people with your actual phone number then yea that might be an issue, as it shows on their phone as your GV number.
Wouldn't it use a new phone number for the texts?

I literally lol'ed when I found out that my N10 couldn't run Xbox SmartGlass and a couple of other things (yes I know I can sideload the apk). That's just silly that out of the box, my phone can do **** that my tablet can't, despite it being a larger screen, newer OS, and Google supported. Goofy.

Blame Microsoft, its their fault what devices they allow to dl their apps. I agree it's retarded, it took forever for them to even support Nexus 7.

Microsoft is weird with their apps man. I hosted the Smartglass Apk for Nexus 7 users twice on mediafire and both links were killed off by request within an hour.. MS went around pulling walled garden shananagins.
