Hey!
Go to HERE!
And how to go to recovery?
1)Shut down you phone.
2)Hold down POWER+HOME buttons together, until you screen blink once and then comes GALAXY ACE....(not just SAMSUNG logo). Now you can release the buttons.
Now you must see the RECOVERY menu. Use the steps, in that thread, what link I gave you.
ENJOY!

I thought Froyo do not support ClockWorkMod 4.0.0.9 yet? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes, you're right, I should have checked first
Sorry I have another question. Do I need to unlock my phone in order to flash into KPH? As you can see from my first post my firmware region is not from Europe and the custom rom I wanted to flash requires me to flash KPH first before flashing their rom. And also if im using CWM v4 in KPH, do i need to flash back into v3 before flashing back froyo since froyo still doesn't support CWMv4?

Hey!
You mean UNLOCK or ROOTING. I think you mean ROOTING? If yes, then you dont need to ROOT, before FLASHING to KPH(with ODIN).
If you FLASH custom ROM, they are all ROOTED already for now!
And for second question: you not need to FLASH CWM3. It will be removed automatically, if you FLASH to KPH with ODIN!

I mean unlocking because I heard that some people said that one need to unlock his/her phone before he/she can flash firmware of other region's. Base on your first answer, do you mean that flashing firmware and custom rom do not need root? Because I think I need to root before Flashing custom rom.( Anyway I have already rooted my phone.)

Hey!
You not need to ROOT, if you FLASH new FIRMWARE with ODIN(ROOT after FLASHING, because you LOSE you ROOT, if you FLASHING). And custom ROM-s not need to ROOT, they all ROOTED for now!

MeanRom has a kernel installer for people that are s-on you don't need to flash the kernel separatly
I believe you didn't have flash the kernal as its flashed automaticly with the rom. Sorry, don't know the answer.

well would either of you guys know how I could fix the boot.img from within recovery? I feel that this is the problem because I can't boot any ROM succesfully, it just does the same thing as it does with the MeanROM.

Had the same problem, even with s-off need to flash it's boot image in fastboot with adb-it will then work fine..
and you have to flash the kernel "modules" to get wifi to work

Right. The boot.img is not the important part. If you want a different kernel, then flash the boot.img for that kernel. You only need to do this once. BUT! When you flash new roms, you need to reflash the wifi modules for "EACH" kernel, everytime you flash a new rom. So, save the wifi modules on your phone somewhere, and when you flash a new rom, just flash the modules again after the rom finishes before rebooting system.

So root, you are saying that the ops need to make it clear to flash the selected kernel (boot.img) before flashing the rom? I'm under the impression that most have already selected a kernel and flashed that before flashing the rom. Sorry if I assumed wrong.

Most roms have a kernel included in it. And if it hasn't been updated since s off came out then you will need to flash the boot.img in the thread to get everything working.

This is what I understand to be correct and what has worked a few times for me. S-off was supposed to eliminate this but not if the rom was written before that process was available or not specifically updated after-which is most of them at this point.
thanks
thanks for your help. all i needed wast the correct kernel. thanks again

thanks, i found the correct kernel, flashed and now wifi is fine. thanks
To echo the above (for future searches). If you have WiFi problems reflash the kernel and they should go away. This worked for me (and others obviously). The ROM does include the kernel but for whatever reason I just had to reflash it. The kernel can be found in the ROM's thread (separate file).

Go into Settings->About Phone and make a screenshot or type exactly what is written there.Include everything.
Why people try to install temporary CWM (the majority don't even realise it's going to be temporary) & don't simply flash a custom kernel which takes 5 minutes & works every time is beyond me.
this...
hope you can help me

Flashify can do that.
TWRP has option to backup boot partition, but haven't used that, so can't tell if this backup contains kernel, maybe somebody can tell this.
