Installing guide:
Flash as normal rom (it takes about 25 minutes)
When configuring you will get into Installing apps screen, it installs stuff and it can stay for about 20 minutes! So don't be scared It will finish, really.

That's exactly what I am thinking...coming from a Motorola Milestone 2 I experience this forum very vivid, with very active and friendly members...Tg01 offers a lot of freedom and I am still crossing my fingers for a fully working wp7 rom.

Cam + Power to dl mode (white led), Using TG01 downloader to flash Wp7bootloader (file wp7boot.bin).
And then
Cam + Power (blue led), Using ZTEiT common downloader, choose Multidownload -> Browse to folder have three file: flash.bin, NPRG8650.hex, partition.mbn -> Start all.
The process done in 18 min.
The result is my phone have no service.

YOU NEED THE 3G FIX
this 3g fix make one time. you do not need to make it again if you flash a NEW wp7 rom!
step1
1. shut down ur phone,then hold VOL+&VOL- and press power on button,u will see some options on screen with black background.press vol- to move untill u see "Factory Test Mode" then press Vol+.now u can press vol- then phone will reboot into FTM mode.
second,conect phone to PC install drivers
run QPST latest version 2.7.366.choose "Ports" tab,click on "Add New Port"
click "Software Download", then click "Restore" tab,make sure "ports" shows ur phone model,then choose "Allsp.qcn" that i uploaded,click on "Start" and wait till phone reboot auto,that all done!
step2
when restore my file ,ur IMEI will change.now i show u how to change IMEI to ur own. in "QPST CONFIGURATION",click "Service Programming",choose "NAS" tab,click on "Read from phone"u will see IMEI,just change them to ur own num. withou any other change.then click "Write to phone" u will see some erros,don't care,that's ok,ur phone will reboot,all done!

just test the bootloader (your latest rom) change it from (warm) to cold AND i get a soft reset! after reboot i´m on start screen ......... you can test it

INSTALLATION

After installation is complete , on the first boot you will be asked to install programs , please dont skip any one of them as this may result in malfunction .. , and also install RomConfig files on your phone memory when prompted ..
PLEASE DONT SKIP ANY INSTALLATION..
After all the programs are installed and you have rebooted once ..
Go to Programs MENU and open SIM MANAGER ,copy all your contacts to phone memory . and disable plugins you do not want.
HTC default theme can be selected from TODAY SETTINGS
NOW REBOOT AGAIN..
After this you are all set to go , the left softkey opens up Action Manager which gives you quick access to new messages etc.. , the right key opens up the new contacts application .
A DOWN TO UP MOVEMENT ON THE SCREEN WOULD RESULT IN OPENING OF THE CUBE.
WHEN THE CUBE IS OPENED YOU CAN CLOSE IT BY SNIPPING YOUR FINGER UP TO DOWN.
FURTHER NOTES :-
1. I have also included Flash Video Bundle in an seperate folder when you UNRAR the rom ... you can install it along with TCPMP player(also included.) to view sites like Youtube etc..
2. In the Previous ROM Slide to Unlock was included by default ,this time i have included it as an optional .cab setup so incase you are interested you can simply install it , Note - You don't need to change the skin as thats all preconfigured in a custom CAB

1. Quick FIX = Open programs..hold stylus on X button ..go to preferences > Skins >and DISABLE "Use a skin file for X/Ok button...
2.Disable extra plugins from today screen ..its obvious that if you have more plugins than the screen can hold , it will use scroll bars to show them all

Just flashed into this ROM, ok just my early findings..
1. SIM Manager won't displayed the contacts for a few seconds and there are return message about network errors. However it will be ok after we wait for a while.
2. Contacts, I am find a bit difficult to 'close' it unless using 'close all' or 'terminate'. Normal close won't work.
Now I am looking for the spinning cube as what ppl are saying, is there any? oh man... feel so embarrassed with this....

Color depth in WM6
Me again,
Just read somewhere in another thread that somebody was asking about the bad colors of WM6 and that it was much better in WM5.
But now it is even not possible with downgrading to WM5 to get the right settings back.
This is the same for me (S200 G4). All pictures and movies are looking bad just as you would have not enough colors anymore.
Any idea what it is or how to solve that?

I have a problem with this O2 XDA Rom. I installed it on my Prophet, but no tool is able to start. "Failed certificate".
So I tried to do it again, but I can't delete the rom and overwrite it with the original one. When I open the EnterBootloader.exe, the pocket PC shutdown and do nothing. What can I do?

Do you mean the step 1? At step 1 run Romupgradeutility..
Please be sure kind of your device.. It is a G4 Device or G3 Device..
Anyway how you can run Enterbootloader.exe in Windows XP?? It is not possible...
Anyway how you overwrite this ROM with the original one??

I am able to load your ROM, so I connected it to my PC and copied the EnterBootloader.exe and executed it from the Pocket PC, so that I am able to recover the original ROM back.
But the only thing, that happen... it shut down and don't show the Screen with the 3 colors. What is my mistake?

so that is the problem..
You made a big mistake here...
You don't need to copy EnterBootloader.exe..
you have connect your device to PC ( Windows XP)
as I said the first step ist STep 1.. Downgrade to WM 5 PDA Viet ( no vendor)
But you have to be sure kind of device that you have..

After you know kind of your device..
at Step 1 you will find Romupgradeutility.G3 or G4 instead.. run this program from windows XP.
after finish downgrading..
you can run the step 2.. that I posted above..
So now your prophet is totally dead or what??
if you know kind of device that you have..Maybe yopu can try downgrade through bootloader mode.. ( Hold camera + on/off button , insert stylus to reset button..But hold the camera + on/off button until three color screen appear..)

I know that I have a G4 Model. I wanted to downgrade, but during downgrading, the pocket PC doesn't enter the Bootloader with the 3 colors, so I tried it manually with the EnterBootloader.exe.
That doesn't work. And it doesn't work with the Camera + On / Off-> Stylus...
So, that is my problem ...

Okay, now I am really in trouble. I updated it again.
Now the facts:
- The PPC don't boots up in windows (at first the boot logo, than a white screen)
-I can "format" it via holding "Comm-Manager + Camera + On" + Softreset
-but then the same again.. boots up and stops at white screen...
- The Bootloader (with the 3 colors) cannot be started via holding "Camera + On" + Softreset
So, what can I do now!?

32mb program memory sounds awsome , but i cant say it looks awsome. I mean the theme is redish, the call manager is redish, med. player, cal. and com.manager is bluish. I dont think they match well... I wish call manager was also bluish so a blue theme would be the fix to my personal visual problem

1d original has the best looking, and best speed. Why not just replace the OS, but keep everything the same?

Everything was perfect, except soft reset
I have cooked this ROM and tried it for the last 4 days. Everything was perfect, except soft reset. After a few soft resets (I have tried the hardware soft reset button and "reboot" link from the start menu shortcut on different hard resets) the PDA locks itself, can not reboot and the only solution is a hard reset.
I would use this ROM if this problem was fixed.

I suggest you to flash again.

Is there a way to test a flashed ROM (if the flash was successful or not) ? I will test the new flash for the other few days and I would be glad if there is a test to check my cook. I got the message on the PC screen that the cook was successful.

Actually, this is no software yet to check for such away.
if you don't need the internet sharing, why did you try the 1d SpeedKing?
more stable and program ram saving
I love this Rom but am having many problems with it when starting up it will hang the only solution is the remove my SD card restart and delete the shutcuts/ .ink files in the Start menu thats the only solution but its not nice I cant use shutcuts to access my favorite programs faster I think its a SD card issue but no other Rom give me this kind of problem plz sugest a solution Thanks

2. will it hangs even newly flashed?
3. Any mis-pointed path about your .lnk(s) ?
4. did you one more hardreset after flash?

My pda also gets hang when starting up it gets stuck on the Qtek screen and when I remove my sdcARD and put it back in the startmenu wont open up even using quickmenue same problem not responding plz fix it by making a updated version thanks alot

Motosurf..... tested and not bad (you should had read my post in that thread ), it functions a bit like M2D... but....
1. really eats ram..... , it takes ~5.5MB of Storage memory and ~7-8MB program memory, which nearly kill our prophet...
2. and that kills the task manager too. (can't activate it in moto today... )
3. that's the main reason for me to to be abdicated...
4. I did plan to post a cab for motosurf here but that is really too bulky and buggy for our prophet

alright........ but you need to pay for that... with your ram.... (around 1 MB, may be less )
1. downlaod and unzip the attachment, copy them to windows directory,
2. activate one more tab - messagingwdget ONLY, better with M2DC ver2.9 (recommended), if you activate other widgets, M2D will crash...
3. tap "apply" from M2DC,
4. NO SOFT-RESET IS NEEDED.
I'll try and let you know the result. More ram is really needed now. tks you for your hard work.

1. where is com manager in the program? I always entranced from small icon as above destop instead.
2. where is network wizard? Am I load this program by myself? due to I can't found into connection button
3. some icon into Iphone screen is not work. It seem they need the program to support right?
4. when I click camera to switch off. I found the rectangle symbol i/o the word. Is it normal or same as you. Better if they can normal text, can you?
tdy just found this problem. Another point is very smooth and fast as my mind instruction.

a. by the side button,
b. by the button in iPhoneToday,
c. if you really want it, he is situated in the windows directory, or I will
post the shortcuts to post 1 for yours convenience.
2. Network wizard was removed by me. try THIS,
3. please customize icons to any your loved programs in iPhoneToday with your flavor.... , I had intended to leave them untouched,
4. camera_on_off is in Chinese, so, for non Chinese device MAY shows
squares....you may "ok" it for twice....
first pop-up, it says "camera dll found, wanna close it?"
when you tap "ok", it will popup the confirmation box, and
the camera function will NOT come back until your next toggle (camera_on_off again),

hi all! you know feropont? the legendary "+ 40 MB more free RAMon tg01" finder for our last tg01 ROMs? I have contact him ....... he will help me/us, please be patient .......
wp7 rom development will rise up. we have good guys the works on better wp7 roms: nokser , qinwengui , ffboy and WojtasXda (i have his 7740 test multilanguage rom!) and possibly feropont and I do little steps in background
anything is possible with them working as a team we will dominate !!! haha

yes feropont left the tg01 development and sold his tg01- i like to bring him back and i like to donate one of my tg01- if he will not- he like to help me....
the other teams, such write in above post, yes all the work on wp7, i next time i hope we get a good progress, but is not so easy....... please be patient next weekS

how to to flash wp7 rom if you allready on wp7 needed files
step 2 wp7 rom flash.zip
1. DownLoade Modus2: turn device off, then press and hold Camera + Power button (you get Blue led)
2. Install ZTEiT Common downloader and install the acer f1 driver
3. copy a wp7 rom, flash.bin in wp7OS_files
4. run ZTEiT Common downloader (select multi—download), browse to wp7OS_files folder and
select him (check with advanced if the three files are set)
5. press START all and wait 20 - 28 min.
