Hello, I use Multipicture Live Wallpaper app to set wallpaper on full screen.
https://market.android.com/details?id=org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture
It can set a different wallpaper for each desktop screen, too.

You can also use Wallpaper Wizardrii to set the wallpaper.

Hello there, this question might sound stupid but i did search all the forum but all hotkeys with wallpaper ends up to wallpaper threads.
When I'm trying to use an image as a contact picture i have to resize it.
Is it possible to use the whole image without cropping it out ?
Also the same with wallpapers. Can i have 1 full wallpaper in one selected screen? I know about lockscreen, but i dont want it for lockscreen only.
The image resolution is 587 x 698 (Its captured with xperia x8 but I want it on my arc)
Up, so many views but no replies

there are several apps in market for this...
try "multiple wallpaper" or something like that!
On my phone running 2.3 the lockscreen shows whatever wallpaper I normally have including live wallpapers. However, it looks like in 3.1 you need to choose a separate wallpaper for the lockscreen and it won't let me choose a live wallpaper. Does anyone know a work around for this?
I don't know it, but it would be nice to have!
+1 would like to know too!

Bah I was trying to figure this out myself!
Someone please figure this out
Even with 3.0 on the tab you got the live wallpaper on the lockscreen. The 3.1 update brought with it the (for lack of a better term) "dead wallpaper lockscreen".
All I can figure is that this must be their way of goading us into making custom roms...

Yes, while using the Desktop Dock in clock mode you get the currently selected Live Wallpaper. Can't find a way to get this on the lockscreen though. Perhaps 3.2???
My Xoom on 3.1 had live wall lockscreen so it can't be a 3.1 issue. While it's nice to have the option of separate walls, it would also be nice to have the option to have the same live wall across the entire device....you listening sammy?

Install widget locker from the market. Works great

Any update on this?
WidgetLocker doesnt look right on the tablet...
When I flashed the pda md5 in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1119492) it worked perfect. Then I flashed Bonsai and it went back to no live wallpaper...
Got to be an easier way?
Also running Bonsai. It's annoying as it seems like the 'dead' wallpaper which is setup in the default settings actually overwrites the live wallpaper being displayed under the lock screen. The live wallpaper is there, just covered up.
Example: using Multi Picture Live Wallpaper, set the lock screen wallpaper to some distinct image, and the desktop to another image. The lock screen wallpaper will default to whatever is selected in the tablet settings. When you unlock, you should see a flash of the selected lock screen 'live' wallpaper which is displayed 'under' the dead wallpaper...
I played with settings in Multi Picture, but it doesn't seem to be able to override this.
I tried to set a wallpaper (vertical orientation, not standard horizontal) with quickpick but when i set it it appears zoomed! Hope i explained it well..

You need this wallpaper in the resolution 640x480 for whole screen (Landscape)
and if you're able just to select a wallpaper for 1 screen you only need one with 320x480 resolution.

Why is it that everytime i choose a pic out of my photo album to set as a wallpaper it asks me to crop it with a weird looking box. these happen with pics ive taken and also with wallpapers that are meant for the xperia S.
I also have that box with wallpapers for Xperia S (1440x1280)
I think it's just for when you want to use a part of that image, you still can select everything so i don't mind
with 1440x1280 resolutions you better select everything if you want best quality, but with images with higer resolutions for example the images taken with your XPS with higer resolutions you might want to select a part of the image (if you desire) :good:

Hi Harsh,
Just a follow up on PicSpeed wallpapers... When I use that method, and set an image to full screen, with no crop... After I reboot my phone, the wallpaper image quality has been reduced and I need to reset it to restore the quality.
Have you (or anyone else) / encountered this and do you have a solution?
Thanks again.
Dodol wallpaper maker from play store. That's exactly what you need
Tapatalked !!
Thanks heaps rapier. App works great (maintains wallpaper after reboot).
Cheers.
i personally prefer Wallpaper Wizardrii...
I personally use multipicture live wallpaper work on my xperi go ics 4.0

hey DX community
Does anyone know a program like this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sanjn.twcrop but for hTC...that make possible to crop a bigger area of all images ?
Maybe this one : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shirobakama.wallpaper&hl=en
Sometime I use this but most of the time I use the PicSpeed Wallpapers "Set As Wallpaper" feature.
