My Galaxy S II X (SGH-T989D) has been working great up until lastnight where after the battery was drained from normal usage and recharged i started up the phone and after startup logo the Touch the android to begin screen appeared... i touched the screen and it was asking to add a google account.. i said add later and found that my default account was still there and sync'd.
the phone was a bit laggy and all of a sudden i started to get " Sorry! the application ____ (process) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. (Force Close)
this same error continued to pop up for a number of apps that usually run by default.. going forward, any app i launched gave the same error...
Re-installing the apps that give this error seem to help.. but there are many apps with this error..
what is recommended? has anyone else had this issue?

Have you tried closing unused (the ones not being used) running apps in the background? Have you also tried clearing caches of applications? A great way to start is by using this: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.netqin.mobileguard&feature=search_result .
i always close all background apps that are running....

Hello all,
I have just purchased the Galaxy Tab 10.1, literally unboxed it about an hour ago. Haven't rooted it, or installed anything on it apart from a few apps such as Sky Sports & Kies.
[Q] After downloading Kies, it refuses to start up, crashing everytime (The application Kies air (process com.samsung.swift.app.kiesair) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
Anyone have any idea what's wrong with it?

Hi wiley89 and others,
I just bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus (GT-P6210) and have exactly the same problem. The first start of the application, it seems to be initializing something, but then a Forced Close. When i try to start it again, i immediatly get a FC.

I confirm. I have the same issue since the latest update
Same here. I think it is because I'm running Windows 8.

Hello,
I own a Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone (GT-I9100) and have installed NeatROM Lite (build number: XWLSW NeatROM Lite v4.8).
I'm developing apps and each app crash (for example occured NullPointerException) causes to freeze the device and after some minutes maybe to hot reboot (NeatROM splash screen but I don't need to enter my SIM PIN again).
Maybe, because sometimes it reboots by itself, but sometimes I need to hard shutdown the device (pressing and holding the power button).
I tried to debug the application, but the only information I could get was that an exception of type RuntimeException occured.
When I activate the debugger for the crashing app, the phone will not restart. The crashed app will just close.
I guess that something is wrong with the "app crash" dialog from android. I've never seen this dialog on NeatROM and when it should appear, the described procedure happens.
Can someone help me on this topic, please?
Best regards
Does nobody have an idea?
Can you tell me how I can get in contact with the developers of NeatROM?
Hello,
First off, I'd like to point out that my rooted ZTE Warp 4G has been working fine ever since I bought it and rooted it with Framaroot. I also have SuperSU and Titanium Backup in use, but haven't had to touch it since the initial setup/root.

So basically, my phone is trying to force me to update my system software, the problem is, it downloads but when it tries to install it hangs at 25% or so and fails out. So I've been hitting cancel every time it re-tries but it comes back all the time. Not only that, Google Play Services has eaten a TON of my monthly data up because of this, over 1.3 GB (Background data), and I'm about to get throttled by Boost Mobile/Sprint.
I've found out online that I can stop further background data usage by Google Play Services by selecting it in the Data Usage screen and restricting it by selecting the check box. That is a temporary band-aid solution though, I need to get this issue resolved.
How can I update to the latest software (OS) so this problem will go away? Are other people experiencing this issue?
Hello XDA,
Here is the deal. Today, i see some google apps updates. They include: Telegram, AndroDumpper, and (i think) most importantly Busybox. I let google play update them and i leave the phone. When i come back, i see my phone was rebooting.
Phone turns on>Cyanogenmod Logo appears>Lock screen appears. I can unlock it. The message: "Trebuchet has stopped working" continuously pops up and there's nothing i can do until it finally goes back to Cyanogenmod Logo. I tried turning it off, going to recovery and clearing cache and dalvik.
I don't know if this has to do with busybox. I don't even know if it updated before the problem started. I would like a solution that doesn't involve a total wipe and reinstall of my rom. If i have to do it, i will do it; but it has been some time since i last did it, so i will have to search for everything again (how to do backups and installing new rom).
My phone is a Moto G XT1032. I don't know how can i search my cyanogenmod version without turning my phone on :/
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Update: Now my phone doesn't force the soft restart. I can go to the settings. If i try to go to the main screen, the message keeps popping up saying that trebuchet has stopped working. Going to Settings>Applications also shows the message "Settings has stopped working"
