Battery consumption monitoring apps - Xperia Arc Themes and Apps

Hi all, was wondering what is the best app for monitoring battery consumption by specific processes? I understand that it might be difficult to do so as we have to work out a way to split the battery used for simultaneously running processes, but just wondered if such an app exists. I am using battery monitor at the moment and it is good but it does not provide data by process. Thanks

I also wanna know. Also I want to know a RAM management app coz when I quit heavy games like FIFA 12, GTA III, Asphalt 6, Backstab the icons of my home screen restart. Due to RAM

It says widget, but it's an app in your drawer as well.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, by this just seems to be a bog standard battery app, not one that estimates usage by process.

Maps draining battery?

I use google map version 6.0.2, but after using and return to idle mode, the device drain battery quickly, about 5% for 1 hour.
If restarted, all back to normal, about 1% for 2 hours.
I'm not using Google Latitude. And "Use wireless networks" always checked
Plz help me.
That is cuz mapps stay in you RAM.
Kill it in manage application in settings.

That's how Android works... apps stay in RAM - killing apps is NOT the answer unless they are misbehaving, which Maps doesn't. There is a reason for unusual battery drain, and that ain't it. Needs more methodical investigation.

of course, i use xperia neo.
Not a stock ROM, so you're on your own. The Stock SE .42 ROM and Maps are fine.
which ROM do you use?
I use stock room .42 + themes GS2.
//stock room .42 use google map 5.6. No "download arena map" feature.
6.0.3 is the latest Maps version by the way
How often does that happen? Had that a couple of times, because maps couldn't find my location by GPS.

Help.. RAM & Processes.

Hello guys,
I'm in quite a fix at the moment. My SGS3 seems to run duplicate processes for the same app and is causing RAM management issues. Every app has 2 same processes running & double RAM being consumed. The battery performance has also degraded. I'm attaching a screenshot for your reference.
ROM: Stock DDLH1
Kernel: SiyahKernel 1.5.3 (gokhanmoral)

that is odd.. i have not experience that before. have you tried using another app for RAM management?
I don't use any app for RAM management. Even in Android Assisstant I have kept the "auto boost" feature off. This kinda thing happens every second day and I have no other option than to reboot.

[APP][SHARE][GOOGLE PLAY] Greenify *ROOT*

Now! I wanna share this app to you. It is works on all device and ROM
THIS IS JUST A SHARE,THIS APP IS NOTMINE
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oasisfeng.greenify&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd
All you gotta do is install the app,and hibernate the apps that u think might be running in the background,or drains a lot of battery, and done!
Greenify help you identify and put the bad behaving apps into hibernation when you are not using them, stop them from lagging and battery leeching, in an unique way! They could do nothing without explicit launch by you or other apps, while still have full functionality when running in foreground, like what iOS apps act!

what could be the cause?
Better yet why not grab a logcat and see what is causing wake locks or install one of many apps to do this for you such as better battery stats or watchdog

Your looking at what drains your battery the most so you'll have to find those culprits and either disable them or find q workaround. Your battery should look like picture attached with screen taking most of battery life because its on all others should be minimal. Plus just check from how long your battery lasts in a day from.100%-10%

So the NLPWakeLock is Google services network location but my GPS is off?
Sent from my hyperdriven SCH-I545 using xda app-developers app
The latest version of Google play services has that issue. I'm running am older version which has less issues. I've spent many hours trying to figure out what causes both nlp wakelocks and it seems to me that Google now uses it most. Go to settings in Google now, privacy and accounts > Google location settings> turn off location history and reporting and see if that helps. It helps me. Those nlp wakelocks really drain the battery. Google needs to fix it
