Havent seen the video, but this thing happens all the time. When you get a great new phone thats recently published, companies are already working on a better version of it (or another better model).
Its usually better to enjoy your current mobile than to be like "I should have waited to get X mobile better", since you could be waiting forever as the companies get more and more new mobiles...
I tell you what... theyre photoshop skills r goooood lool. Only thing i can tell you for sure is the GS3 will b amazing

I have a Galaxy S II, very nice and beautiful, have the stable official cyanogenmod. I would recommend you to buy it. But you might want to consider Nexus Prime which is coming out very soon.

Get the Nexus Prime or, if you can't wait, the Galaxy S2. Don't get the Nexus S (unless you're looking for a slightly cheaper product). It's a superb phone but there are better devices currently/very soon to be on the Market.

Launch is 19th but when the phone will be available to buy is not known (by me at least). We'll know a lot more Wednesday.
Nexus Prime seems to be outstanding from what I heard from rumours!
Its launch was delayed due to death of Steve Jobs.

So after spending MONTHS trying to train my wife to be an android lover. One of her clients GAVE her an iPhone and now she's sold out. Fine. Not a big deal ...because I HATE the iPhone...I am a firm believer that over all the android is a better phone . But its hard to make that point..when she's holding the iPhone 4 and I'm holding my LG p509. Now of course ivlove my Opt BUT...I'm gonna need an upgrade ..now I'm pretty broke but IV got a few bucks (USD) ...but what I DO have are two ..perfect condition LG p509 s. Okay, I do have to disagree with you just a bit. You see, even as a true Android lover, you can't say things like "Android is superior in all ways." Honestly, iPhone sales are not decreasing. Many people I know still enjoy using their iPhone because they find it simple. These people can't be bothered about what overclocking is and they already feel a great sense of accomplishment with Cydia installed on their iPhones
Here's just my 2ยข on what you should be looking out for your new phone. Firstly, you should get a phone with at least a dual core processor (powerful huh? Wait till you see phones running quad core ). Secondly, you would want a phone with a larger screen display. Let's be honest here. O1 is a very good phone (my first android phone) and I love it. However, I am unable to enjoy fully games such as GTA3. Lastly, since you're such an Android lover, do checkout the xda development page for your future phone. Surely you'd want a phone that is constantly being developed by a pro active community?

I think that motorola have 1 new phone with high-end spec, high mAh of battery, and also good style/good looking android phone.. as i read on google they(the writter of article) said its sold with low price with their spec(also i don't know it sold with bundle or not) 300-400 USD.

Get a phone that is exactly what you want.forget the specs.forget the media propaganda.find a phone that is the right size.is fast enough and dose what you want it to. hi there mate, thank you for posting this as i have been in the same connundrum over the past few months.the things that concerns me when choosing a new phone are:1. unlocked bootloader as some phones shipped with locked bootloaders. this cannot be a good indication for future developments on the platform. 2. wheter or not the phone has a strong developer community support. i see this as an important feature to ensure that my mew phone would be able to stay fresh for at least the next 18 months.to be honest, i was so close to ditching my optimus one last month, having had the phone as my trusty companion for over a year. but the recent development in cm9 port for our phone (time and time again, the optimus one dev community has never failed to surprise me) had allowed me to stick with the phone for atleast another couple of months, enough time to see whats in store for us after wmc.
Btw , have u tried selling your two o1s on eBay?
The iPhone sucks at price, the only nice thing about it are the animations, you can take a phone with 2x the specs of iPhone woth half price

LMFAO hahaha that's great. I'm afraid you guys are right.. but to further speculate, it looks like a miniature Samsung TV.
The real star here though is the brand new Exynos dual core a15 CPU coupled with that Mali t604 GPU. Also, 1600p screen?? Can you guys see why I'm drooling over it now? Lol throw in the new version of Android to top it off.. I need another tissue.

It looks like a mix of the Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Tab 10.1. The Exynos 5512 (I think that's what it's called) processor is amazing. It's the same processor found in the new Chromebook.
i hope its in the $400 range so i can sell my ipad 2 and contribute towards the proceeds.

That's what I said about Samsung and seeing their iteration of the Nexus (all plastic). Pretty much came to terms with ****ty build quality now (I've been skipping out on all Nexus' since the N1, so can't really wait any longer heh)... I'll give LG a chance. They most likely stepped their game up if Google is considering them for their next flagship device.

Meant in terms of software (didn't they have plenty of driver problems?), can't really comment on its build quality as I've never even seen an Optimus in person. Like I said though, I'm pretty much used to 100% plastic devices with fake metal looking bezels now...

The hardware in LG phones is second to no one.. However their software if behind the rest of the pack. Imo.. also I had an lg phone before and when you flashed new software on it you were unable to roll back to previous versions of android or u will brick your phone. I Apparently this is common with LG.. I am hoping that this phone is as kick ass as its hyped to be but I have my doubts

Just saw this on MobileSyrup, looks like there may be another Samsung Nexus phone in the works called the Nexus 3. According to some pics that were uploaded on Picasa using the Nexus 3 by Samsung. Interesting, but 3.2MP camera? Probably not a finished device yet.

Hey Guys, currently running an iPhone 4S (I know; it's ****, work compulsory item unfortunately. Apparently I can't use an Android phone. ) Well; I've left that company to join another one so I can finally get an Android! YAY! I'm not really happy with the Nexus 4; No expandable storage. Something that is a must for me.
So; my question is, should I get a Galaxy S3 or wait for the next phone?

Everybody will tell you a different story. For some SGS3 is a piece of crap, for me it's my dream phone come true. The only one near as good as the SGS3 is the Note but for me it's too big.

If you can find one without defects, take a OneX, or better, a OneX+....i changed 3 OneX, all of them defective in a way or in another, and then i gave up and bought an S3, which is a great phone, but to me it doesn't have that premium feeling...
I had this feeling when I bought desire HD (just when it came out) till I found out there won't be an update to ICS. Now if you look at let's say Jelly Time thread, 4.1.2 runs ok on it, but HTC won't help with the development (even in a form of a "leak" or any other). They have forgotten about this phone after about a year. Ignored the petition signed by tens of thousands. So if you think Apple is poo, think again. Buy any phone but not HTC. They are making great phones, but they have to come to their senses. I hope they will, as their sales and shares are really bad.

If samsung makes it with a little better specs and maybe an anoled screen I cannot see why they shouldn't make a mega 2 as they had good success with this mega..but this mega is awesome already and it can only improve if a mega 2 does happen to come out. ..but only time will tell.

Exactly. Probably the first smartphone which disproves how specs on paper can be misleading and not tell the whole story about actual, discernable performance.
My Mega is just as snappy as my former S4.
Sadly, we may or may not ever see another here in the US. However, I'm sure that in a year or so, we will be talking about flexible displays anyway so...

This phone is a sleeper hit. I think there will be a Mega 2 next year.
I think there would likely be a mega 2. Samsung has to keep producing not only high end but also midrange phones to remain competitive.

I hope so, but then we also have to hope that it comes again to AT&T. I'm just afraid that AT&T may not be selling enough of them to warrant a second one in their lineup.
Again, this is just speculative paranoia, but you never know and we know how much is going to change in a year or more.

Lets remember whilst we know the specs and what they me average joe doesent know the diff between snapdragon this or exynos that. 8t wont sell well compared to the others purely because its too big for the majority of users most people have called it a tablet when they seen it. So anyone walking into the shop and see this next to normal phones they will probably stray away from it. Unlike peeps like us who do believe bigger is better

i think yes, we will see but not better than what we have already now. Samsung released this mega in rush without big announcement before, it was in exact time when Huawei released their ascend mate. also the development for this device i don't think it will run good since Samsung don't want that.
Samsung releasing some hybrid devices only to exam the market from our pockets and to say we are here then they kill these devices and kill the people who screwed and owned them. exactly as same what happened for Galaxy tab 7.7 which did not repeated and did not get any update or custom roms for more than a year.
Their loss, my gain. Maybe I should buy 2 for when this one dies. Although that doesn't look like any time soon AT ALL. lol

VERY true, up here in BC, Canada, I have only seen one person throughout my university campus with a Mega, everyone else is rocking a stupid iphone (dont understand the sillyness of one), I've seen only a handful of windows phones, and 2 Bberry's
Still saving up my pennies so I can get a Mega, the bad thing is the limited dual-core inside of it. It isn't BAD but a quad-core would make the phone way better. I love large phones.
