Hello!
I have a Motorola Razr Maxx (XT910) with system version 672.180.41.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU. I would like to install android 4.1 (original stock) on it using recovery mode and a zip because the update is not avaliable in Norway. Will it work if I install a stock rom built for the 672.180.41.Retail.en.EU? Thank You
Hello,
I have droid razr android version 4.1.2,
Build Number: 9.8.2O-8_VZW-16
System version 98.72.16.XT912.Verizon.en.US
I am running stock version and not installed much apps but i have noticed hanging issue in handset...
I have install CM 10, 11 roms also it works fine but after gapps install i notice it hang after running sometime...
Please tell me for stock room is there any patch or kernel to make it with better performance..
My kernel is: 3.0.8-gbacb1cf
It used to be when I had the HTC Thunderbolt I'd be changing ROMs as often as I did underwear, now with this S4 i545 I'm in need of help. All the processes and methods are different.
I want to install Jelly Beans Build 7 ROM but don't know how. The recovery screen is too small to read even borrowing glasses, but I do have the custom ROM saved to both the phone and sdcard.
This SCH-i545 is rooted, Android Ver 4.4.2, Kernel Ver. 3.4.0
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
.
Are you using safestrap?
Hi,
I'm currently running on Paranoid Android 4.6 beta 5 and would like to move to Android Revolution since I'd like to get MHL functionality.
I am currently on Android 4.4.4, so my question is if the Android Revolution ROM (which runs on 4.3 Jelly Bean) will work on 4.4.4, or if I need to downgrade (if that's possible) the Android version first.
Thanks.
No, just a full wipe of system, data, preload and internal sd is required to change version.
Hello,
Yes, I know this phone is old and I'm hoping someone will help me but I have a Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and the battery is about to go bad and I also broke me MicroUSB port so I have to wirelessly charge it. I want to go back to my Samsung Galaxy S4 which it's on Android 5.0.1.
Before I got this Samsung Galaxy S4 had the same phone but I broke the LCD when I went to replace the screen which it ran Android 4.4.4, it was rooted, and had the SafeStrap custom recovery on it. This Samsung Galaxy S4 is on Android 5.0.1 and I saw a custom ROM that can make the phone run on Android 7.1 or Oreo so I want to do that to get the phone almost up-to-date close to my Motorola Droid Turbo 2.
I rooted using Kingroot so the first question is how to make SuperSU the main root permission.
I tried to use TWRP but it mess the stock recovery up so now it goes to Odin mode, the second question is how can I get a custom recovery to unlock the bootloader.
Lastly, what is the best ROM, I see the CM is nothing anymore and I saw a ROM called "LineageOS 14.1" which run Android 7.1.1, so the ROM I like to see haves at least Android 6 or newer and if there isn't any then what is the best Android 5.0 ROM.
--Here is the Phone info---
Model number: SCH-I545
Android version: Android 5.0.1
Baseband version: I545VRSGPL1
Kernel version 3.40
Build number: LRX22C.I545VRSGPL1
Keep in mind I'm little rust on rooting and custom ROM. I haven't done a custom ROM since the Droid 1 days. Please make it noob friendly as possible. I'm using a Linux OS right now but if I need a Windows OS I got one.
Thank you!

You're stuck on 5.0.1. forget about upgrading past 5.0.1. not going to happen. Ever.

Only the MDK bootloader can boot ROMS based on Android 6, 7, 8, etc. Once you've updated past MDK, you can't go back.
