[Q] Remove built-in keyboard on some roms - Optimus One, P500, V General

Hi
I noticed that some roms, as CosmIcEXperia by trettet, IcsLunarPro by eeee616, unofficial CM7 7.2 by adfad666 and others come with a built-in keyboard feature in the keyboard settings. Due to the Optimus One doesn't have physical keyboard, Is possible to remove this feature? Depends on the rom or the kernel?
Thanks

It is ROM-based.
The dev of the ROM has to remove it (not always possible though)

[Q] To all Developers of CM7/CM9

Sir can you install or put in CM7/9 the stock Radio and Camera PLEASE ?
Sorry for the Bad English, Thank you in Advance Sir
When you mean "stock", do you mean stock from CM7/9 or stock from Samsung?
For the latter, it would be quite troublesome for the Ace developers to port Samsung TW Apps to AOSP ROMs.
Plus the camera in CM9 does not work yet... But you can always download another camera app from the Market.
installing camera apps from market for cm9 wont do any good. since the problem is the phone cannot detect or connect to the camera itself. its best if you go for customized stock roms such as themyth, omegarom or other stock roms at development section

[Q] Changing Default Input Method in Cooking ROM?

I am Cooking a ROM based on Sony's Stock ICS but I have removed SOny keyboard and added Android AOSP one..
The problem is when I flash the ROM, it doesnt Show up any keyboard until I go to Settings>Input>Default and Select Android Keyboard then it works
I want to Enable Android keyboard by default after flashing ROM without getting into settings..
Any way I can do that by Some script or build.prop line?
Problem solved automatically.... Seems setupwizard.apk is the main application that configures it... Using setupwizard.apk from gapps seems to solve issue but i am not sure...
I have same question....

[Q] Stock ROM that supports hardware button re-mapping

Hi! Currently running CM 10.1 on my intl SGS3, which I quite late realized wasn't a good idea given lack of Exynos hardware documentation from Samsung.
Currently trying to figure out what stock based ROM I should switch to, if any. CM10.1 has been working OK but with some gapps crashes now and then.
My main things that I would want to keep from CM10.1 is
1) Hardware button re-mapping -- I don't like not having a recent apps/multitask button so I reassign menu to this. Do any stock ROMs enable this?
2) LED color assignment -- the pulsing led feature in CM10.1 is great. I tried various apps to do this while I was running original firmware, but none worked. Any stock ROMs that has this feature?
Maybe I'm asking for features that can only be enable in slight rewrites/modified ROMs?

Cyanogenmod 10.1 keyboard?

Hello, I used for a long time Cyanogenmod and get used to the keyboard. CM keyboard is similiar to stock Android one, but has some mods: lots of keys have a second function and i find that very confortable.
The strange thing is that i couldn't find any information about that, nor an APK to install it on other ROMs.
Did someone managed to do this in some way?
If that matters, now i'm on an HTC One S

[Q] Questions about AOSP roms

I'm looking at some AOSP roms and have a question about a feature in them.... what are ribbons? I've used Carbon for a little while before and didn't touch them, but I mostly use stock roms.
Thanks
I think our stock rom is aosp, or it is not?
