Install a custom recovery. It is reported that CWM is having periodic issues with certain code formats in the update-script. With that being said, I highly recommend using Amon RA Style Recovery with this ROM.

a. Download RezROM from the link below.
b. CHECK THE MD5 AFTER PLACING ON YOUR SDCARD. Windows user can download md5 checksum shell extension.
c. Reboot your device into recovery mode.
d. I recommend a wipe for this installation. A lot has changed.
e. Install the ROM as you normally would BUT here's where it gets different.
f. Once installation is complete your device will reboot to fastboot. Select bootloader and FOLLOW the prompts.
g. When complete reboot your device and reep the benifits.
h. Enjoy and consider buying me a cup of coffee

during the setup wizard you will get a gateway timeout when it looks for existing email account.... this will get fix.. i just simply debloated a little too much

just trying to zero in on my issue... i had both and i'm wondering which it may be

I don't... so that could be the reason why I didn't encounter it. Haha just Gmail for me. I can't wait to see what future updates you bring to the table.

What all tweaks did you do?

Just flashed without a problem i also didn't get the Gateway Timeout notification error, i only have gmail synced tho. Only thing is i wish there was a flashable stock batt with percentage.

ahhh lets see.... added % to battery, tweaked - network - memory - ext4 partition, added swap, removed bloat, removed cdrom.iso, removed tetheringguard, added wireless tethering as well as some other stuff but thats a good start for ya

Still waiting on my Rezound in the mail....excited on trying you're rom lllboredlll. Been reading through the threads to catch up on the developments so far.
Right now I'm somewhat confused........Do I have to HTCDev Unlock........then One click root.....then install a custom recovery....then flash?
Or does the first page instruction give root, so no need use the one click?
Also does the HTCDev Unlock act as a stepping stone to one day having a true s-off?
Or is s-off in the future still lock down pretty tight?
I have been searching the forums.....but answer to these questions continues to allude me.

To flash the Rom just use htcdev unlock and then flash a custom recovery via fastboot. Root is incorporated into the Rom. If you wanted to stay stock then you would just run the one click method to achieve root after you unlocked. Beware that when you unlock your device will factory reset. I didn't loose any data but others say they did.
Yes this is a stepping stone to s-off but aslong as I can run a custom Rom I am content.
I hope that remedies the confusion.

INSTRUCTIONS
Requirements:
▪ Amon RA Recovery Only until clockworkmod is updated (Not sure CWM is working properly yet)
▪ HTC Unlocked Bootloader or S-OFF
▪ A Full Wipe Highly Recommended! (Required if this is the first version you are installing)
NOTE: Will not flash over anything but this ROM.
Installation:
▪ Copy ROM to root of the SDCARD
▪ Boot into recovery
▪ Factory Reset, wipe system, cache, and dalvik
▪ Install it using "Choose Zip From SD" Card option
▪ Will reboot to booloader to install kernel. Press power then follow instructions to install
▪ Boot - and enjoy
IMPORTANT NOTES:
▪ Be patient on first boot since it may sit for a few minutes
▪ Skip everything in settings for first install
▪ Avoid Google and Titanium restores if possible.
▪ Remove the PH98IMG.zip from your SD Card as soon as possible so you don't have bootloader problems later.
DISCLAIMER: As usual, flash at your own risk and don't forget to backup your current installation before flashing.

Nils, any chance you can release just the black dialer for use in other ROMs? I used your black dialer before and freaking love it, but am sticking with CleanROM ICS because I just want a straight stock Sense. I just miss that black dialer you have on your ROMs.

Camera, 3g/4g hand offs / wireless / seems to be charging well (will report on discharge and battery life) all working very well. Better than well, GREAT!!!

His flashable zips work for our phone, for G+ you will have to extract the apk and install seperately
SWYPE Go to http://jbthemes.com/djdarkknight/daswypethemes/
Grab the version you want and install. After install (and every reboot) you will have to rotate your phone to landscape mode then back to reset the size of the keyboard. If you dont want to do that you can install the V5-Gnex version. It will always be the correct size but is bad with cutting off words half way through the swype.

Download RezROM from the link below. If you are S-ON, download RezROM_S4_S-ON_Kernel_Installer.zip as well.
CHECK THE MD5 AFTER PLACING ON YOUR SDCARD. Windows user can download md5 checksum shell extension.
Reboot your device into recovery mode.
I recommend a wipe for this installation. A lot has changed.
Install the ROM in recovery. S-OFF users simply reboot. S-ON USERS DO NOT REBOOT. Now flash S4 Kernel Installer zip which will reboot your to bootloader to finish the process.

How to upgrade your firmware:

1. Download the 3.11.605.22 Leaked RUU: LINK MD5 = 58b0f42defc689650ddd5128f195dc7d
2. Rename the RUU to "PH98IMG.zip"
3. Copy the renamed RUU to the root of your external SD Card.
4. Re-lock the bootloader.
Open a DOS prompt and change directory to the folder where you have fastboot.exe
Reboot to bootloader
Type "fastboot oem lock" (No Quotes) while you are in bootloader (fastboot usb).
5. Reboot to bootloader again via recovery menu.
The bootloader will begin to scan the PH98IMG.zip - This will take awhile
When it asks if you want to update press volume up for yes.
The update will make the first pass - This will take awhile as well
The phone will reboot and sit on the white HTC screen - DO NOT freak out once again "this will take awhile"
When it is done it will reboot back to fastboot mode.
Make sure "Bootloader" is highlighted and then press the power button to run the second pass of the install - once again "this will take awhile " - watch the screen to verify ok next to each partition
Once complete press the power button to reboot.
Your device will now begin booting on the newly installed Leaked RUU
6. Once booted skip everything in setup
7. Proceed to http://htcdev.com/ to unlock the bootloader - Unlock keys do expire so you may need to request a new key.
8. Install the custom recovery of your choice.
9. Flash RezROM as instructed above.

I will probably update this again real soon

I'm having issues with busybox..specifically running fix_permissions.
Tried to reinstall busybox with no effect.
Minor issue compared to how smoothly this ROM has run for me the past almost 2 hours..sense 4.0 really is gorgeous in a lot of areas. Excited for the evolution of this ROM

Last time I checked, this developer didn't like his work being implemented/cooked in ROMs. He preferred that people visit his thread, and download it from there, and install themselves. This was last time I read his OP, which was awhile ago. Anyhow, if that ain't the case, good! I hope you did get permission as well.
I hope I don't come off as I am trying to attack to you. I'm just trying to help cover your base since people generally do that. Just looking out for you.

it is the same one but i was able to get it to boot and wifi
I cant test 4g sadly i dont live near a place with it available.
ill try my best to help fix any problems. but i spent 12hours
looking for an ruu and recovery just to get official OTA ICS..and i didnt give up till it worked

just turn on 4g and see if the radio turns on and stays on..if it turns right back off when you turn it on then its not working

So far so good. Followed the installation instructions and haven't run into any issues. Installed the FAUX kernel. Can't get the dt2w to set but do have flick to wake. Rom runs pretty snappy also. Gonna play around with it for a few. Looking forward to future updates :good:

Thanks, got it sorted out now. Rom is running very well. Testing the limits of what I can do/install. So far:
I installed new contacts pics with no problem from here:

[THEME]Contact Picture V10, Keyboards, Classic Black Theme 4.2.0 [28.08.2014]
I also installed without any problems the Sense Weather Theme from here:

[THEME] Weather Icons: Sense / Tick / Weezle / MIUI / Sense 5 [Update 27/05/14]
Gonna keep playing with it. I'll keep you posted.
Its a shame, this section hardly sees any action and this is a very good Rom.
You should cook an international rom, everyone is jumping all over the new 4.4.3 releases. Admittedly, I'm one of those, I'm a flashaholic as you can see from my Sig lol

I just got an HTC One and this was the first Rom I flashed. I just noticed the speakers are low, is it my phone or the rom? Clean installed on PN07120

mine r loud n clear here... if worse comes to worse .. restore ur nandroid backup to what ur were using b4.. then see if there is a difference, let me know how it goes :good:

This is no doubt the best ROM for ATT m7 out there. You cannt get any closer to stock while avoiding all the ATT bloatware. Works perfect!
