So far so good. Followed the installation instructions and haven't run into any issues. Installed the FAUX kernel. Can't get the dt2w to set but do have flick to wake. Rom runs pretty snappy also. Gonna play around with it for a few. Looking forward to future updates :good:

Thanks, got it sorted out now. Rom is running very well. Testing the limits of what I can do/install. So far:
I installed new contacts pics with no problem from here:

[THEME]Contact Picture V10, Keyboards, Classic Black Theme 4.2.0 [28.08.2014]
I also installed without any problems the Sense Weather Theme from here:

Gonna keep playing with it. I'll keep you posted.

You should cook an international rom, everyone is jumping all over the new 4.4.3 releases. Admittedly, I'm one of those, I'm a flashaholic as you can see from my Sig lol

I just got an HTC One and this was the first Rom I flashed. I just noticed the speakers are low, is it my phone or the rom? Clean installed on PN07120

mine r loud n clear here... if worse comes to worse .. restore ur nandroid backup to what ur were using b4.. then see if there is a difference, let me know how it goes :good:

This is no doubt the best ROM for ATT m7 out there. You cannt get any closer to stock while avoiding all the ATT bloatware. Works perfect!

Install a custom recovery. It is reported that CWM is having periodic issues with certain code formats in the update-script. With that being said, I highly recommend using Amon RA Style Recovery with this ROM.

a. Download RezROM from the link below.
b. CHECK THE MD5 AFTER PLACING ON YOUR SDCARD. Windows user can download md5 checksum shell extension.
c. Reboot your device into recovery mode.
d. I recommend a wipe for this installation. A lot has changed.
e. Install the ROM as you normally would BUT here's where it gets different.
f. Once installation is complete your device will reboot to fastboot. Select bootloader and FOLLOW the prompts.
g. When complete reboot your device and reep the benifits.

during the setup wizard you will get a gateway timeout when it looks for existing email account.... this will get fix.. i just simply debloated a little too much

just trying to zero in on my issue... i had both and i'm wondering which it may be

I don't... so that could be the reason why I didn't encounter it. Haha just Gmail for me. I can't wait to see what future updates you bring to the table.

What all tweaks did you do?

Just flashed without a problem i also didn't get the Gateway Timeout notification error, i only have gmail synced tho. Only thing is i wish there was a flashable stock batt with percentage.

Still waiting on my Rezound in the mail....excited on trying you're rom lllboredlll. Been reading through the threads to catch up on the developments so far.
Right now I'm somewhat confused........Do I have to HTCDev Unlock........then One click root.....then install a custom recovery....then flash?
Or does the first page instruction give root, so no need use the one click?
Also does the HTCDev Unlock act as a stepping stone to one day having a true s-off?
Or is s-off in the future still lock down pretty tight?
I have been searching the forums.....but answer to these questions continues to allude me.

To flash the Rom just use htcdev unlock and then flash a custom recovery via fastboot. Root is incorporated into the Rom. If you wanted to stay stock then you would just run the one click method to achieve root after you unlocked. Beware that when you unlock your device will factory reset. I didn't loose any data but others say they did.
Yes this is a stepping stone to s-off but aslong as I can run a custom Rom I am content.
I hope that remedies the confusion.

you should be able to use them on the deodexed and odexed version .. tho im not sure how compatible xposed and gb are at this point with the m8 .. let me know.. just make a backup just incase ..:good:

I have a couple of quick questions seeing as I just came from a GS3 and it's been since the original HTC Evo since I've dealt with flashing anything onto a HTC phone.
1) I did unlock the boot loader through HTC Dev and have installed TWRP. This is all I need to have done to flash this correct? My device is still s-on (it looks like there is no s-off yet unless I have missed something.)
2) Will this rom give full read/write access to the external sd card or will that come later with kernels?
Sorry if these are noob-ish questions but I'd rather ask and be clear than make a mistake. In either case, thank you for the development and insight.

This was one of the best roms for my GS4 when I had it. Glad to see you here. I see this phone addiction epidemic is spreading.

questions are good nothing wrong with that!!
1. yes.. just make a nandroid backup b4 you flash this rom .. then full wipe .. then flash away :good:
2. yes, media r/w has been fixed.. something ive had to do with all my supported devices besides my nexus 5, u will also
have system r/w as well
read the install guide and take ur time .. and you will be fine :good:

Hey iB4STiD, glad to see you here. Can't wait to try out this rom. I know this is a noob question and doesn't pertain to your rom, but I was wondering if you could tell me where I'm going wrong with s-off. I've always owved Samsung devices and I don't have much experience with other manufacturers.
I've tried the weaksuace apk to gain temp root but I get a root failed error. I've also tried the root method in the toolkit but it seems like all it does is push over a su.zip and try to install a recovery, with fails with a signature verification error. I feel stupid, but what am I doing wrong? I'm assuming its so simple that I'm missing it. As I understand the process is:
1) obtain root somehow
2) flash firewater to achieve s-off
3) push over recovery via fastboot
Any help is appreciated.

Do the proprietary HTC functionality still work? Such as the dot case, slide to wake and unlock, etc.

thanks man.. i did forget to mention this in OP at first .. :good:
So there's no confusion to be had this rom was made to work with tmobile, att and g900f.. pick ur carrier in aroma and ur good to go .. the only thing u loose is wi-fi calling besides that, works with all features of a tmobile device and then some!.
international fw pros = newer fw newer features and bug fixes
tmobile fw pros = wifi calling
ill take the international fw
but up to u use what u like :good:

Also another downside to the international roms is the fact that it doesn't have volte.

INSTALLATION :-
Note :- To be on the safer side, update your radio and bootloader to the latest included in the factory images. The flashable zip for latest radio is here
Download Veneno_Rom_MMB29K.zip from the folder. Also download 3minit zip if you want.
Place the zips in your SD card
Boot into Recovery
Wipe Data,Cache,System and Dalvik
Flash Veneno_Rom_MMB29K.zip
Bootup the ROM
Reboot into recovery again
Flash 3minit mod(If you're flashing the paid version, download 3Minit battery Settings(paid version) from Play store)Flashing this is optional.

Want weather animations? Download this zip. Extract it and place it inside the Android folder in your internal memory.
For this build i have removed HTC keyboard. But if you want it. You can download this zip and flash it. No, it won't delete Google keyboard.

All the voltages are used by me everyday and are very stable.

It's very smooth indeed...I like it... battery life is looking good too... The only problem so far is that photos don't show in Gallery... I like this version better than other Sense Roms for Nexus 5! Thank you very much!!

That's weird cause my data is connected. I never had any problem with data connection. And no other person here reported me about data connection loss.

You're talking about the hidden power menu in Marshmallow? I didn't enable it cause it didn't have reboot option.
