Maket error on CyanogenMod 6.3.6 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
The market seems to work for me, except that when I try to purchase an app (by clicking on the app ammount (ex: 0.99$), I get the error: "an error occurred. Please try again".
Free apps seems to download fine, and even paid apps that i've already purchased in the past re-downloaded fine...
I've tried flushing the market data from the manage application tool, which forced a re-acceptance of the TOS, to no avail.
Any ideas?
Btw, I've installed the rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1155454 and downloaded the GAPPS listed there. I would post there, but I'm not allowed at the moment (I don't have 10 posts yet)

I also tried updating to the latest Gapps (found at the cyanogenmod wiki) , and wiping dalvik cache (that was suggested in a post somewhere) with no success.

In the end, none of the market versions I tried worked, so Instead I went with CM7, where there is no market issues.

[Q] Market stuck on download

I have looked over several threads and tried many different solutions to my problem.
I can't seem to get market to download apps. I can see plenty of apps and I can see apps I previously downloaded as installed. I tried doing the "market fix" with titanium backup so that I could get other apps I wasn't seeing. This has been the result of that.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling Google Talk. That was the recommended fix for this problem on the Hero and it worked. No guarantees on the G Tablet.
Not sure if this has anything to do with it at all but I had a similar problem after installing a new ROM the other day. It cleared up after I set the proper timezone. Before that I would cancel the download and try again and that would usually kickstart them.

[Q] No downloads from Android Market???

My problem is with the android market and my apps don't show up when I select my apps on the top right.
My setup:
Just flashed phiremod v6 with the included honeycomb stats bar icons included in that thread, nothing else.
My attempt at solution:
I cleared the market cache, uninstalled then reinstalled updates for the market, cleared the cache for the google services framework, wiped cache partition and Dalvik cache via CWR, and still no success.
Some things I found weird:
When I start up the market, those banners they usually have for apps (advertisement) fail to show, its just green there.
If I choose to download any app (picked solitaire and imdb at random), it downloads and installs and even runs successfully, but they don't even exist on the my app page which continues to read "No downloads from Android Market".
Any solution to this guys? Also if not what is the best way to update my apps instead of manually searching for them via market to update. Thanks for any help.
Download LCD density from the market and see what yours is set at. 161 works fine for me.
I had it on 150, switched it to 161 with no success, thanks though.

Have you tried re-flashing gapps? Even though I know phiremod comes with them pre-installed.
The problem is solved! I just set up market enabler to the tmobile market and everything came back, thanks for all your help anyway.

[CM 7.1.0 Stablet Release] Market download Error

I cant post this on the development thread, so I can only post it here.
I installed CM 7.1 this morning, everything is fine, but the market. I always have problem with download big apps from market since CM 7.0 till now.
When I tried to download Viber, the error poped up, it said "Error downloading " Viber:..." There is insufficient space on the device. But my phone internal memory still has 150 MB left. I tried to clear market data/cache and reboot but it still didn't help. Anyone has a solution for this?
I've had this problem before. Do "uninstall updates" to the Market app. It will eventually update itself again but hopefully it'll work properly the second time.
By the way, which gapps package did you use? Was this a clean install?
I used the gapps of June, but then I updated to Aug 18, still I didn't work. Then I decided to install the ROM + gapps again ( at the same time) and it works.

Insufficient Storage

Ive done numerous searches and tried many possible fixes, but nothing has worked. Ive tried setting install location, cleared caches, app-lib files, ODEX files, removing apk from data folders, Link2sd, insufix app, marketfix app, ran a command that someone posted on a previous post, factory reset, ROM tool box and Lucky Patcher. I couldnt get to "fixes and backups" using LP. I hit troubleshooting and it says "update busybox and supersu ics". I have twrp 2.7, SuperSu and S off. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Usually a market/ play store error. Previously you would wipe your play store data and services. Not recommended with JB and higher but I dont know if anything else works yet...

Some off-market APKs won't install, but others will

Hey all,
I tend to download off-market apks quite a bit and this is the first time I've run into this issue. I'm trying to download the TomTom Go app and it keeps saying that the app package is corrupted. Whether I download it from a random site, Aptoide, or ACmarket, it doesn't matter. However, I tried testing it with a different app (AccuWeather) and it downloaded from off-market sources just fine and installed. I can't figure out the reason for this, since I tried several sources and all of them had the "it appears the app package is corrupted" error. If it helps, I'm running a rooted phone (RS988) with magisk and Xposed, with a TWRP recovery.
Thank you for any help you can give me!
Edit: I have tried wiping the data/cache of the package installer, I've tried moving the APK into my /system folder and changing the permissions, I've tried resetting the app preferences and I've restarted the phone. The next thing I'm going to try is wiping the dalvik cache and see if that fixes it. Also, quick sidenote, I can install any app I want from the play store.
