Insufficient Storage - HTC One Max

Ive done numerous searches and tried many possible fixes, but nothing has worked. Ive tried setting install location, cleared caches, app-lib files, ODEX files, removing apk from data folders, Link2sd, insufix app, marketfix app, ran a command that someone posted on a previous post, factory reset, ROM tool box and Lucky Patcher. I couldnt get to "fixes and backups" using LP. I hit troubleshooting and it says "update busybox and supersu ics". I have twrp 2.7, SuperSu and S off. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Usually a market/ play store error. Previously you would wipe your play store data and services. Not recommended with JB and higher but I dont know if anything else works yet...

Package file is invalid & Insufficient storage available :(

Hi, I'm on Foxhound's Revolver Ocelot ROM and I keep getting these two messages whenever I try to download anything from the Play market;
Package file is invalid & Insufficient storage available
I cannot download a single app from the Play market.
Please someone help me to resolve this, preferably without a factory reset.

Try to download apps using another network connection. Sometime it many be a temporary network issue. Also try these methods http://www.thespicygadgematics.com/2011/12/fix-android-package-file-is-invalid.html
try what MyLifeRocks10 said: "go into either the /system/app/ or /data/app/ directory and delete the odex file that has the same name as the respective .apk"
I'm trying to download Sports Car Challenge and am getting the same problems.
First it was insufficient storage space, so I rebooted, same problem. Then I unmounted sdcard, app cannot be installed in default location, so I remounted sdcard now I get package file invalid.
AAARRGGHHHH !
I've tried clearing cache of google play store but no difference.
I am running standard XWLPG firmware with CF-root.
Solved. Sort of.
I've spent two days prowling the web searching for solutions for the "package file invalid" error. My problem was that maps would not restore from a backup or install from the market. I did one of everything in an attempt to solve it, I'm pretty sure. Since it looks like the cache is simply jammed up, preventing the install of large Google apps, I used a Titanium Backup filter to list all my apps that reside on the phone rather than on the SD card. I uninstalled a few of the bigger ones (actually just three of the biggest) and then went to the market to install maps. Came through without a problem. Strangely, using Titanium again I was able to restore all those apps I'd uninstalled to make room for maps. I have no idea why that worked – it seems spatially impossible – but for now, at least, problem solved. What a total hair-puller the invalid package error is.

Google Play (Market) Error: 923 and Insufficient Space

Recently did a factory reset, then rooted and unlocked.
Since then I'm getting errors downloading apps. This seems to occur only over the wireless connection, not over Wifi. I have verified that I can access the SD-card and external SD-card. have plenty of available storage space (per Settings/Storage): 2.58 GB app, 8.43 GB internal, 29.06GB SD card. Also have a good data connection per browser/weather app use!
These are the two errors I am seeing when trying to download apps from Google Play:
"App xyz" could not be downloaded due to an error. (923)
Error downloading "App xyz". There is insufficient space on the device.
Searched to find a fix, but couldn't find a good answer. Can anyone help me?
I would flash Th3bill's full wipe @ http://www.jokersax.com/developer-pages/th3bill/809-2/ then flash your rom.
if that doesn't work, you'll have to go back to stock sbf and see if that fixed it. if OK, root... if OK, unlock. an incremental way to isolate the issue.

Dont do a full wipe just yet... Just go to settings, manage apps, click on play store, click clear data, then reboot. This will probably fix it.

It wasn't enough to clear settings, I had to do the full wipe and installing MIUI 2.6.22 fixed it.
I appreciate your the help!!
I had error 923 on my sgs3 and clearing app data resolved it.

1. under settings/apps go to google store.
2. cache and data reset.
3. update deinstall, and akzept reset to google store basic version !
4. delete googlemail account under accounts&syncronisation.
5. go to google store app, insert googlemail account new.
google store meanwhile has updated to newest version and will keep runing fine again now ! :good:
This can sometimes happen after a fresh install and gapps tries to throw every update it has logged for you at the phone. just retry after installing what sticks. usually sorts it. many phones have this issue

This helped me after using CF- Autoroot by Chainfire, on my nexus 5. Thanks man!
Possible solution
I've ran into error 923 in Google Play.
None of the above worked, and I finally managed to fix it by deleting /data/core/zcore*.zip files (2.5GB in total).
By the looks of permissions on those files, some files could be deleted without root, but not all of them.
this video fixed the problem for me.. while it's "kind of a long video" for the 2 easy steps.. it's just the 2 steps.. 'clear cache' (not sure that helped, really?)
but the 2nd step did help.. I rolled back google play to a 'older'-orginal version.. and that fixed it

[Q] Lucky Patcher Screwup

So I have a Galaxy Player 4.2 USA,
I went into Lucky Patcher to try to remove google ads and disable MXPlayer from creating ad storage and such.
I changed permissions and chose to Rebuild and Install!.
After about five minutes, nothing happened, and then the program quit itself (either or was closed by RAM manager)
So MXPlayer is now uninstalled and nowhere to be found. I tried re-installing from a backup APK I had of the app, but then I get
"Insufficient Space on SD Card"
error from not only the APK but also from the Google Play Store when I try to install this app specifically. I have plenty of available space so weird I'm getting that error.
Obviously I screwed something up, and I really don't know what to do. I read to delete Market cache and possibly even dalvik-cache,
but I don't know what's safe and what to do.
If someone could please tell me what the best option to do would be, that would be great.
Also yes device is rooted, running 2.3.6 Gingerbread, I have TiBu PRO installed and Root Brower.
Thanks!!

Usually Lucky patcher itself can fix that kind of problem i think. If you run Lucky patcher, it will automatically delete unused odex (patch files) which will prevent you installing original app. Wiping dalvik cache is recommended, for I never encountered problem by wiping dalvik cache.

Deleted Playstore [Android 5.1]

Hi Everyone, I have a Samsung Galaxy J5008 which is rooted. My Problem is I don't have an Playstore. My Problem starts when i decided to Update my Phone using Odin 3.11.1 from J5008ZMU1AOF1 to J5008ZMU1AOL1. Before i started to update it. The phone was fine and no problems.. But after I Flashed the update.. Google Play Services show an "Google Play Services Has stop working" and the Google Play does not work either even I have an Internet connection. I've tried to fix it using the methods I found in Google like Clearing the Data, Clearing the cache, etc. Now after that one. I tried Factory Reset. Still no luck. And the last thing what I did was trying to replace the APK file which is I can't find those files in /system or in any Place. I also tried to search it manually on my whole device but can't find it. So... I decided to delete the package name folders on /data/data but also no luck.. So I tried to Unistalling Google Play, Google Play Services, Google Services Framwork using TitaniumBackup. And know everything is Screwed up. After that. I installed TWRP on it and wipe all partitions out there like /system, /data/, etc then I Flashed The J5008ZMU1AOL1 again but after flashing and rebooting. Google Play, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework is still not presented. Please Help me..
Why not try flashing OF1 again?
I tried. Nothing happens. Playstore is still missing.
Anyone? Please help. If someone had a same device can you give me the boot.img or a system dump? Its J5008

Some off-market APKs won't install, but others will

Hey all,
I tend to download off-market apks quite a bit and this is the first time I've run into this issue. I'm trying to download the TomTom Go app and it keeps saying that the app package is corrupted. Whether I download it from a random site, Aptoide, or ACmarket, it doesn't matter. However, I tried testing it with a different app (AccuWeather) and it downloaded from off-market sources just fine and installed. I can't figure out the reason for this, since I tried several sources and all of them had the "it appears the app package is corrupted" error. If it helps, I'm running a rooted phone (RS988) with magisk and Xposed, with a TWRP recovery.
Thank you for any help you can give me!
Edit: I have tried wiping the data/cache of the package installer, I've tried moving the APK into my /system folder and changing the permissions, I've tried resetting the app preferences and I've restarted the phone. The next thing I'm going to try is wiping the dalvik cache and see if that fixes it. Also, quick sidenote, I can install any app I want from the play store.
