I have owned a windows phone prior to the radar i had the htc hd7 an i just wanted to upgrade and improve a little but, anyways my question is why is it does this phone not have the gray theme tile like the titan does? Does anyone think that when the new OS comes out next year sometime that it will have the ability to customize the tiles to colors that we like?

Any idea how to change the icons/Tiles of apps? There are some apps which don't adapt the design color for their icons, so i'm searching for a solution for this "problem".
unfortunately i dont think you can dude!!!
There is no solution to this problem. Part of it is that especially if the App has a live tile it constantly creates new Image files that are set as the foreground of the tile. Some Apps use a transparent Icon background which lets the tile color shine through but others don't. With full unlocked WP7 devices it was possible to overwrite the default icon but quite often that also broke the live functionality.
So all in all the previous answer is accurate and there are reasons why that is not going to change anytime soon.

wp 7 themes is the app ur looking for. its just a beginning, however in circa 1 month will be some huge update, pro version will be released and i dont think it cost us much

author of app make tiles icon in that way and you cant change it...

Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to modify the layout of every app that are using the official Android Holo theme to move the action bar that is located on the top of the screen to the bottom near the navigation bar. I think of this as a possible mod that could be flashed, but really I don't know if it is possible. I would find this more comfortable since our phones tend to size up and thereby, reaching the opposite corner of the screen with one hand makes me stretch it numerous times a day that I'm afraid of the possible evolution of mankind's hands(or maybe just one)

No the positions of that is declared in each app. Doesn't matter what theme they use as that is all holo is. Just some images and color settings.

Well, I am looking for the same thing this past few weeks because Im totally craving the sliding live tile animation on a desktop. And Im glad Im not the only one
I searched for live tile widgets and the only thing I found (which was not even like a live tile) is the Animated Photo Frame Widget. This however is only a slide show widget. But because I cant find anything else, I used the free version of this.
haaay.. I hope that someone would just create a live tile app or widget that is exactly like a Windows Phone live tile

After 2 years I am finally back from iOS to Android 4.4.2 on my new Nexus 5.
I flashed the newest version Paranoid Android and now I am seeking for a lockscreen layout that can replace the iOS lockscreen notifications I got really used to.
Dashclock combined with Dash Notifier seems like a good alternative but I now have some strange lockscreen behaviour of which I don't know if it's normal or because of some settings I missed.
Every time I expand / shrink for security code input I see a semi transparent white rectangle (as seen in the pictures attached).
Is this normal? If not is there any setting I missed, if yes, is there any possibility to avoid this? I don't use any lockscreen replacement at the moment...

i stumbled upon dashclock widget and it's extensions last night and tried it out and pretty impressed by it .the problem you pointed out seems the feature of it that a semi white box shows up on lockscreen actually it's part of expanding or shrinking the dashclock. Actually i had a question for you if you could take a look at this link and tell me how to set up dashclock notifier right next to the clock widget as seen in that pic? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51150628&postcount=1237
