I bought nfs yesterday, and cannot get it to play for anything. The furthest I've been able to get is buying a car, it usually closes way before that. It doesn't give me a force close error, just goes back to my homescreen. Does anyone know what the problem is and what to do about it? Thanks!
I think they might be selling the version not very compatible with our phone. Mine works fine.
I've played a few races today and haven't had any troubles either.

Works for me on Nero V3+voodoo.
I guess you are past 15 minutes for refund, but contact EA.
I hope you got it for .99 and it's not big of a deal in the wallet department, bummer though you cannot get to work...

I've had it for a month, played/plays great. Completed all races, now need to collect the stars. You should contact EA to see about getting a more compatible version, or just Google NFS shift .apk and download one, since you've already paid.

For those who can't get it to work, post your your info (like ROM) so we can see what's up.
The op is using macnut R14 (from his signature). I am on macnut R12.
Still not working... its odd that it just closes to your home screen.
Yeah, I did get it on the 99 cent sale, so it didn't hurt my wallet, just sucks that I couldn't return it. I did contact EA, they just gave me the link to their forum, which wasn't a big help. If anyone does have a link to the version that works with our phones, please let me know, and yes, I've paid for it

Should've just Googled the apk. You'll find the full game for free and mine works perfectly. I've had it for like 3 months now.

If your phone number displays as "unknown" in your About Phone settings, that's probably your problem. I believe that issue exists with Macnut.

Can someone please help me figure out how to make this show up in the market and actually be compatible to where I can play it? I'm tempted to use an old device to buy it and buy some time for.net.to get this working! Its only 10 cents!

Sorry didn't mean to sound like a jerk. Was just kidding. Anyway I tried that and unfortunately the APK installs just fine but it downloads data post install of APK and it errors. I'm just trying to figure out how an app can't be compatible with this device!

Thats because it checks for an imei. Of course the TP does not have one. There is a imei generator in the nook color development forum. Here's the link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103766 It works on the nook color and the touchpad, but I tested on my prime and it's a no go. Maybe we can get a dev here to whip up one that will work for us. Check on the OP in the link for more info. Dizzyden's a pretty good guy and I'm sure he would help someone who knows what there doing.
hmm the xda app works normally for me. I do get the force close when it doesn't load up a page properly and I press back, but that happens on all my android devices.

there are a lot of people on this forum using the tf201 and xda

There is some loading bug, which leaves the loading circle on the screen. Pressing back once or twice closes the program, starting again makes it start up normally.
I have the same issue. Forced to use the browser at point.
I am having the same issue. I read somewhere that it says the xda app is not currently supported by ICS. Does anyone know if there is any validity to that statement?

I had problems with the free app on my Desire HD so bought the premium version.Looks like the free app still has problems. The only solution is to buy the premium app....you`ll get working XDA plus the money paid goes to good of the XDA community.

Free one crashes on both my HC tablet as well as prime. So i just bought tapatalk which seems to be similar as xda premium interface but also works with several other forums not just xda. cost 2.99 but very useful and hasn't crashed on me.

Does the exact thing to me most of the time. Sometimes I can browse the sub-forums but then it will kick me out and force close. I am going to try tapatalk since I already have the premium version for that.
Since ICS, it crashes EVERY TIME.
Pretty annoying, considering how i got REALLY used to using it.
If the pro version was officially supported in ICS, i would purchase it.

Ok it's apparent that the "free" version is buggy. Interestingly enough, I have the paid for version, and never experience any of this. I have it loaded on both my Asus tablets.
Apparently it is the "free" version. I just ended up switching to Tapatalk and called it a day.
I'm running CM9 final and haven't had any issues lately. Today I received texts up to a certain point from some Ppl and some I didn't when they texted me. I can send out but get nothing back. Phone calls work fine and so does my data... Any ideas? Please help!

Well it's a pretty stable build. Which they wouldn't have released if SMS didn't work. Which means its user error. Either it's a setting u changed. , an app u have running, or u didn't full wipe before installing. Best guesses at least. Good luck , happy flashing

I posted in CM9 only cuz that's the run I'm on, but thought I should post in question and answers instead. I will remember that next time. I've been on CM9 for quite a few days now and exec today I have been getting texts then all of a sudden nothing... I haven't changed anything, I was working most if the day.

I had good luck following this guide for setting up APN on I777 on CM9 , it is for ATT. It is from Infuse forums but it works anways. If it doesn't there is an option to reset to default.

*update* I ended up calling Att and tech support. After some trouble shooting he had me put my Simon into another phone to "wake it up, or un freeze" it then put back in my phone. I then got 18 texts when phone turned on. He said sometimes the Sim card gets confused from switch between towers and locks up. So really was an easy fix. Hope this helps anyone else. Thanks for suggestions!

Hey guys just picked up my ONE today after debating between it and the s4 for a few weeks.. I really like the feel of the device, sound from the speakers, and sense is so much nicer than touchwiz in my opinion but on the in store HTC one the camera kept freezing as soon as you opened and/or force closing... I assumed it was just from abuse or a tin of running apps or something else simple and the other display unit(a black one) worked just fine.. so I purchased a black one as I like the look of it better but now about 5 hours later my ONE has started doing the same thing until I restarted the phone.. tried clearing data and cache but no luck till the reboot .. has anyone else had the same problem?
I love the phone.. but if this is a sign of things to come I'll probably change my mind and go for the s4 even though I hate the plastic construction and touchwiz..
