Try using run apps in compatibility mode in spare parts+. Spare parts is available in market for free. U need to have root to use that though.

Hi, looked for threads concerning my question but found nothing, a cousin just bought a galaxy tab 10.1, all was good, he installed angry birds and angry birds season correctly, then somehow he was going to install angry birds rio but, a message appeared telling that he was not able to install that app from this location.
I took the galaxy tab, did a wipe memory and entered my data, whit my account, I was able to install every app he was not able to, I have had a galaxy s before, so some of these apps have been on my account, so my question is why can't he download apps, but I can?
Hey guys, is there a way to make Gameloft games, like NOVA 2 and Asphalt 6 work on GS2? I'm just first turned on my new phone, entered the market thinking that I would play high end games I couldn't in my Xperia x10, and I discover that Gameloft games aren't there
You can try using Stock Build.prop to maximise market content.. If there's still stuff missing Market Enabler (free in app store) will let you change country/carrier. If it's Tegra2 games you're after Chainfire3d can duplicate that.

But will this allow me to get games? Does it bypass the market restriction? I ask this because I'm not in favor of pirating games...
Can you teach me how to do those things?
Download Chainfire3d from the market, the search for Nvidia drivers for Chainfire on google, copy them to your phone. install, select the Tegra driver (easy enough to find instructions on Google), then search nova 2 on marketplace, if it allows you to buy and install then you're all good.
Asphalt 6 and nova2 work without the need for chainfire.. you just need to dl them from gamelofts own store.. just google gameloft and you should find them.

Use samsung games hub or gamesloft websight as said above.
Can't it be the market version? You know, I love the easy updates, etc...
I got nova 2 hd from the market, no problems. I am in the uk though, so you may have to use market enabler if it's not showing up.

don't worry about the updates. all gameloft hd games have builtin in-app update functions and regularly check for newer versions.
Issues I have with Gameloft games is.
this is the biggest, load times especially if you pause them and go to homescreen to check a text message or something, then immediately hold down the middle button to return to the game, they take forever to start up again, upto a minute, why on earth is this, on my old Iphone they would resume instantly. This phone is miles better spec inst it?
Also hardly any of them use the gyroscope and when they do its just not smooth enough compared yet again to a year old clunky fruity machine
just don't understand why
Yes, with the demo version I got, NOVA 2 takes a very long time to load...
Trying to set up the Chainfire3d thing to download the games through the market. I preffer it that way... having all apps on one place feels better.

Even after I put the market to the UK Version, installed Chainfire 3D and enabled nVidia Plugin I can't find the app on my phone and neither am I allowed to buy it from the desktops's browser ¬¬
But isn't it just a demo?

Asphalt 6 is free via the "Samsung Apps" on your phone. I had tried versions via the market and they stuttered. The one via the Samsung Apps is not only free (always liked that price) but more importantly runs sweetly.

There is no where on it that says it is a demo.
To be honest, I am not very good at this type of game and got it for my son to play with. I downloaded it to compare it to the market version.
Hello I have a GT-I9100P (Orange) with a 2.3.4 gingerbread official (not rooted , no cyanogen) and every single gameloft game does not work , when i launch either modern combat or nova or 9mm or asphalt any game from gameloft it says that my device is not supported , and i dont know what to do.
It seems that Gameloft doesn't know, what GT-I9100P (Orange) is. Can you download it from market?
nope either does not show up in search or says incompatible.
I had problem with gameloft games too. I tried to install Let's Golf 3, but i couldn't find it on market from phone. I found games instalation file and could install and run it. I also have rooted my phone and installed CyanogenMod7. So this does not seem the same problem.
well the only game i got working is modern combat 3 , I had to root my phone then use titan backup to make the game launch in offline mode only. So the check dissapears and I get to play the single player portion of the game , though i cant find similar methods to other games.
Try if this works:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20904858
first backup, because phone might not boot up, because of wrong values.
There is also link to my post. Thy your luck
Open /system/build.prop
Search for "checkjni", change value to 0. This applies for modern Combat and Google Earth and probably many other apps

there is no such line in the file , should i create that line?
Have you tried downloading the games directly from Gameloft website?
I couldn't find Let's Golf 3 on Market, but I went to its website and now I've got it installed and running on my SGS2.
I tried but the gameloft does not support the phone model so i cant get passed that screen , BUT yesterday I installed ICS and all gameloft games worked , probably because after flashing the build.prop was changes ( i dont actually now i just think that it did) but i didnt like that some functions dont work so i reflashed back to stock , so the games stopped working , so im thinking if i find what to do in the build.prop file , i would be able to play gameloft games.
See if change ro.product.model= line in build.prop to GT-I9100 helps.
got it resolved , flashed cyanogenmod 9 to my phone , now all games work fine.

Just curious,
I do not see Angry Birds HD in the Market from my Tab. I do see the app from my PC.
When I click for compatibility from PC, I see a THREE entries:
(1) Fascinate Phone - Not compatible (expected)
(2) Galaxy Tab 10.1 - Not compatible (huh?)
(3) Samsung GT-P7510 (registered January, 2012) - Compatible
Any idea why the Market shows TWO tab devices (2) & (3), with one compatible and the other not compatible?
What should I be doing to clear this up??
Thoughts??
Thanks!
Note: I did play the regular FREE version appeared to be just fine on the TAB. What does HD bring??

are you rooted or have you installed custom rom before , my old device hd2 shows 3 times on the website with 3 different names , and according to the region I adjust with market unlocker , I get the support , and about the difference between the hd and the normal is that
1. the HD has no adds
2. the loading screen is full screen but the game graphics is exactly the same and i think itsn't worth to pay for , just close the internet connection and play the game without adds
OK. I'm in turmoil. I've flashed ROM after ROM after ROM (including stock roms), but no matter what I do, I can't find Angry Birds/Fruit Ninja by searching in my Play Store.
I can install Angry Birds using the Web Play Store, or by finding it in the Featured apps tab, but I'd really like to restore my searching functionality.
I assume this is the same with other apps as well, seeing as Fruit Ninja doesn't appear. The two apps appear as compatible on the Web Play Store.
Tried it on a Nexus S, a Motorola XOOM and a Galaxy SII, and the apps appear on all three devices. I'm really stumped, seeing as the problem still arises after a total wipe of the device, and even changing of ROMs!
Can someone help? I'd be grateful.
Thanks!
How is that possible even after flashing different ROMs
Try flashing stock through Odin

It did stick when reflashing ROMs. No worries - changing build.prop fingerprint worked.
