the upperback left of my tablet is warm all of a sudden. anyone know if this a serious issue?

hey guys i have the htc evo 3d rooted and unfortunately i have been hit with the bsod(black screen of death)onty the bottom buttons come on and the rest of the screen remains black(hence the name)plz plz help me
a few days back my battery went down to zero and the orange light was blinking finally it caught a charge and started charging a few hours later i switched it on and thats when i saw dum dum dum duuum!!the black screen of death plz help me i really like the rest of the human race cannot live without my phone oh ya and its cdma and warranty is not an option as the phone is not from my country......plz my phone is my life(well besides dota)plz try to solve my problem
P.s-im a noob to these forums if i have offended anyone or done something wrong plz lemme know
touchpad touchscreen unresponsive when playing games whats the probleme
Is it just with games, with a certain game, only certain times ? You're pretty vague on your details on what the problem is and how it happens, so we can't really try and help you without more info, please.
My screen is black and it doesnt showing anything but i can unlock it(i hear the unlock sound). I tried flashing a stock firmware and it didnt help.
Does someone know how to fix it?

So it looks as a hardware problem, mabe with backlight of the display.
What was the last thing that you were doing before that problem (phone fall down, get wet, modify some libs, reload firmware)?

I flashed jj hybrid rom 3.2 and phone got wet a bit but i put the phone on warm and after a half an hour phone turned off and start vibrating.Day after i turned it on and i noticed that touchscreen is working but its black

hi mate, Do you always play games while you charging your phone? I think that is the cause of the problem, i had a blank screen problem too, but its not really bad bcoz when i push the on/off button on the top then push it again it will display the screen like a normal.And i notice this problem happened to me since i addicted to play a virtual tennis, i play till the battery drain and connected the charger and keep playing the game, after couple of day, then i got this problem. And one more thing, while i playing any games, i always used the home button to reply sms i got then i push the home button again to get back to the game i played.

its not working screen is still black
Hi everyone,
I am experiencing funny accelerometer issue with autorotation ON.
When I keep my phone straight it flips screen to the left. When I rotate the phone it flips again. Only the home screen works good.
The same is with the games - if I am playing every thing goes to the left because it thinks that the phone is flipped.
I do not know if this could be the issu with the spirit rom but on CM11 there is the same issue and with this rom's there are no calibration tools.
It looks like the start position for the accelerometer is flipped left.
When I test accelerometer with moving the phone up and down it looks like working left and right like the axies being changed.
Do you have any ideas, how could I approach this issue to fix it?
It is just not possible to use autorotation now.

Yea, it depends on which ROM you installed. Some work some don't. Been looking around, but not much activity for MEGA. Looks like everybody is loosing interest for this phone. I just got mine and love it, have the same problem with screen and camera. Has to do with what it thinks north is.
