Sup fellow awesome people. I kinda need some help with this ROM.
Basically I went from using infected eternity to Olympus Trinity and I'm okay with this.
Both are great ROMs and all but it the pulldown from the Olympus ROM is stock, and that blows.
Is there a way to flash part of another ROM to another? Thanks.

If you go to the themes and apps section, there is blue zeus mods for that ROM. This will add the extra zeus modifications to the drop down. There is also one other theme, but I'm not sure what else is added to it mod wise.

Hi guys, I want to know what is the best rom for AT & T Atrix, I tried cherryblur 1.4d, but I have reboots, tried another rom cherry kernel-AT & T but does not work lapdock.
I have the Atrix rooted with the bootloader unlocked, is there any way to install the official rom without getting a hard brick?
Thanks,
Alex
It depends what you are looking for. Its really trial and test to are what you prefer.
ninja rom worked well for me.
I'm currently using Alien Rom and its a beast. Using faux's kernel.

i prefer alien ROM. i think kenn'll pull us through this mess of too many ROMs and be the top dog.
alien is meh
i like cherry better
its all personal preference
Im on Alien about to get on faux's Kernal. Did anyone notice that the menu button unlocks the phone too?? and in my camera/camcorder res settings i cant see ne thing but the green dots on the right until i click and hold. its like white text on white bg til i click. ive had some apps fc too just hoping the cache gets filled pretty fast as i read being deodexed the system cache needs to be built up and the os will run fast
I might just try Ninja rom. I seen that 1 first and then i seen the new alien. i love cwm :-D
I'm rockin Cherryπ right now....haven't gotten around to flashing a kernel yet.

not sure why you would like cherry better. i'm not crazy about navalynt. i think alien has a lot more potential if kenn gets on another dev to work with; seems as though he's too busy for his own ROM.
πCrust totaly a winner! Fast, stable, froyo like battery life, no FCs. Perfect!
I'm on CherryBlur last version, and very happy.
Do you think its worth to move to Alien ? its way better ?

I like alien because it is closer to the old gingerblur than any of the other roms..i wish someone would make a truely AOSP rom though.

I'm definitely digging the PiCrust ROM. HDMI Webtop, 1080+ video recording, hella fast, 1% battery and the overall flexability of the ROM make it awesome!

Speaking of the flexibility of the ROM, have you tried any themes on it yet?

Most of the theme related aspects I want are either in the ROM already or I use GO Launcher EX. The only thing I'd like to add, theme-wise, is a transparent status bar. Which, if anyone can do or knows where to find, would be cool?

I was inquiring more about theme packages like Sensual GB or Elegant Steel??

Gotcha. Haven't tried those, but the Cherry Pi theme can be applied over the rom.

Hello! i just recently rooted by thunderbolt for the first time and i was just wondering if anybody had recommendations for roms that i should try out? also for those roms, in general, is it ok to flash to my phone using clockwork mod? thanks!
cm7 for a more stock android feel or miui because its awesome
Clockwork is fine. Many great roms, imo's lean kernels work great
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
I really like cm7. Check out Thundershed: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/13354-romcust1-27-2012-thundershed-v12-cm720-rc1-android-237/
If you really like sense there are some good roms with that too like skyraider or BAMF
Shiftsense with imo lean sense kernel is a rockin setup.

Hi guys just want it to ask what Rom are you using and wich one do you recommend me switching to
I want somethin with Sense but i wanna themed too just for fun and 4G a must
Thanx guys

Lol if you want battery life stay stock kernel builds . If you want speed and don't care for battery life a bunch of builds out for speed.
I always stay stockish due to battery life and stable . What are you cdma or gsm ?

I run steel25. Good battery, speed, and red theme. Infectedrom is also pretty good.

A new one of these threads pop up about, oh, once a day or so. Just go to CDMA android development (I'm guessing you live in the US, judging by your username...) and look through the ROM threads on page one, that's the easiest way to find what you're looking for. and if you want sense and 4g, you need a 3.0 ROM. "best ROM" is just a matter of opinion based on what you're looking for from your phone. It's easy to tell which ROMs are themed just by looking at page one of each thread
Edit: I see that reaper's here. He makes one sick, themed sense ROM

It sounds like you'd love eternity or ZR3D. Both are super fast and smooth but in my opinion eternity gets better battery life.

I have personally gone thru toooo many ROMs... from MeanROM, to Infected Roms, From Senseless to Sense based, overclocked to undervolted. and the one I have found to be the best daily driver, "LIGHTLY" themed ROM with the best performance (better than MeanROM according to several quadrant apps) is **ZR3D 1.3** it has made me fall in love with Sense all over again...
oh and Im running it with the Stock HTC Kernel and finding it faster and more responsive than most ROMs that Ive used overcloked with a custom kernel.
this is of course my personal opinion. not saying in anyway that MeanROM or any other is not Amazing, these are just my experiences with various ROMS...
hope this helps!
best rom for me is definitly shooter beats from willy
Hello everybody in the thunderbolt community! I'm new to the thunderbolt and just successfully rooted it for a buddy of mine. I would like to load a custom ROM and kernel on this thing for him but not sure what i should flash. What's the most stable ROM out there and best kernel for performance and battery life?

I agree there are a ton, and they're all the same. For the most part people seem to really like Entirnty Infected roms, or roms from team BAMF. I've used both but like infected roms because they have great battery life and beats audio cooked in!

I came from an Atrix 2 with about 2 months of iOS usage in between. I'm currently stock 4.0.3 rooted with Cherrypicker V 3.1. I was wondering what some people considers to be the better ROM or combination of different mods. I helped a lot and became a senior member from the Atrix 2 thread but I've been gone for a while. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hmm I haven't messed with ShoStock but it looks slightly inspired by TouchWiz so you can try and check that out.

That rom is unbelievably fast. If you want to run a "stock" rom, that is the one. I like to keep a stock rom on my work S2 and this one has been awesome.

I have tried half a dozen or so different roms, and the one that I keep coming back to is Shostock2. His latest release (4.0) is very stable, but it still needs some features added in that were in some of his previous releases. If you are looking for a balance of features, get Shostock2 (3.1.2).

Personally I liked Task's AOKP for some time, but recently flashed CM9 - and probably will stick with it until more stable Jelly Beaner...for stock - ShoStock is my choice
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
You came at a pretty good time. Most ROMs are really stable and Jellybean is just about to hit. What I like to do is play around with different ROMs and see which one I like best. It's what makes Android fun! For a ROM recommendation, I'd have to say SHOstock (if you want that stock TW feel) or task's AOKP (stock Android, plenty of customization)
I know everyone's already said those two but they really are good ROMs. Of course there are other good ones too, so go explore

As myself and Red5 maintain, the best ROM is the one that works for you. It may take a few hours, but give a few a try, and see which YOU like the best.
As the general rule in this board, "vs" threads are no-go, so I am going to close this here (our board was a mess before this rule, with masses of "vs" threads popping up everywhere)...
