hi
i ventured down today to a big ppc distributor here and they had the imate version of xda2i.. and check this out.. it had a newer rom.. version 1.1 and radio rom version 1.3 and a new ext rom aswell...
i used the recently posted rom dumper to sd app from here and got the rom on my pc now..
i need to know what to do next.. how to make this usable.. im sure this rom is what we have been waiting for..
i played with the device for more than 30 mins and it looked more stable than my xda2i... mind you the versio of album, camera, wmp 10,BT,Wifi and caller id app were same.. but the rom was snappier and gave more stronger signal strength than my native o2 version 1.0 rom on xda2i..
another thing i noticed(off-topic) was that imate jam (aka o2 mini) was heavier than my xda2i ..impressive or xda2i dont you think..
any ways.. help needed quick..
what country is it for
middle east
re: Donut 1.6 Hero
I saw the signed donut 1.6 version on Android & Me. Wondering if this is safe to install for an unlocked white Hero? Or do we have to wait for something from HTC since it is a custom UI? Thanks all!
Can anyone give me the best settings to get android to work on a uk hd2 phone.
I have tried to do as people have said and used haret but my phone does not scroll through the linux screen, it just gets 4 whites lines of text then fades to black and does nothing. I have to take the battery out and reset the phone.
cheers
Update your Radio to 2.10 or above.
Make sure you install HSPL then update radio to a version with .50
my radio is 2.10.50.28
Oh and use a rom which is android compatible.
That should help mate
Get the HSPL3_PKG
Get the Leo_RADIO_2.12.50.02_2
Get either the ChuckyROM or the Artemis ROM from:
I'm currently using the Artemis ROM, but the ChuckyROM works well too
Get an android build, all of these work great for me:
SuperHD2
Shubcraft1.5 rebuild
mattc Leo:
I'm currently using the SuperHD2 build, but with the michyprima (r10) kernel for whichever build I use because of extended battery.
Hi
I'm kinda noobish at ROM-making so please dont laugh to hard at my question
I'm from Denmark and when designgears shifted to a ROM without danish swype (from version 1.20 and up) I cried a little cause I really like his ROM. So therefore I'm trying to take the swype version from cognition version 1.15 into the latest version 1.31. I found the files system/app/swype.apk and system/lib/libswypecore.so in the ROM-zip-file and was wondering if I could just copy the ones from version 1.15 til the zip-file for 1.31 or are there more files needed to get danish swype or isn't this the correct way to do this?!
Looking forward to your reply
Hey guys. I haven't used my HD2 since November when the Digitizer stopped working. Well next weekend I am getting the digitizer fixed so I can start using a smart phone again and dump the flip phone.
Here is my question. What do you recommend for me to install? I know there are tons of threads with different roms and stuff, but I was wondering what you guys recommend.
I am running Magldr 1.11 Feb 2011 Build date with Gingerbread 2.3.3 IIRC. The phone thinks it's the HTC Desire. So whatever OS the Desire came with that is the one my phone has installed. Should I stick with Gingerbread or should I make the leap to ICS 4???
P.S I have DFT version in there and I have it set up through NAND so it auto boots to Android.
2. Is MAGLDR 1.11 out dated?
3. Is MAGLDR 1.13 better to work with than 1.11 ??
