I don't seem to get the video playback to work on Android on my HD2. I tried many video player from the market. What I have gotten is just an error playback message. The weird thing is I can playback the Transformer that was came with the HD2. So in conclusion, I think there is a problem with my converted video. Is anybody know which converter along with the setting to make the video work on Android video player?
Hey guys, quick question. I have a Transformer and Transformer Prime. Because all of the other guys in the office are IPAD people our marketing vidoes are in .MOV format.
On my Transformer 101 these videos played fine with no issues, I have put these same videos on my 201 and they play and look great, but there is no sound.
I have tried the ES player, Quick Pic, and the stock Video app and all three have no sound.
When playing other games/videos things work fine.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Try Mx Video Player.
If it has no sound, tap the screen, press the sound button and see if you can change audio track.
That worked, when pressing the audio track I have Audio Track #1 and Audio Track #1 English (S/W). If I change it to English SW that works but I don't want to do that everytime I try and show a 30 second clip to someone. Is there a way to set that to be the track by default for a specific video, or maybe even all videos?
For MX and Dice, you can set SW to be the default mode. Then there'll be no prompt upon playback.
Hi,
I am running my SII on 4.0.1 and I am very frustrated with its performance on video recording and playback (the problem existed on the 2.3 OS version too).
Bascally if I try to watch a clip on YouTube (does not matter if I am on wifi on 3G) the movie will start showing nicely but very quickly the sound will continue to run smoothly but the image will freeze and then will jump back to sync with the audio and then freeze again etc. - so you can't see a nice smooth playback. It does not matter if the video is fuly downloaded.
If I record a movie using the camera - I will get a choppy video with freezes. This is really frustrating and I wonder if other have experience the same problem and more importantly if there is a solution for this annoyng problem.
Thanks in advance,
Itay
I have read about audio/video out of sync, but this issue that I am having since I have bought the device is audio cut-off in recorded videos for a couple of seconds. The video starts playing but audio track seems to be missing for a couple of seconds and then plays back. I have tried playing recorded videos on laptop, uploading to YouTube but issue remained. Though this is cut-off, YouTube reports video may be having audio/video sync issues.

Hi guys I usually record video alot on my phone and I recorded some for our trip but when I tried playing it back it had very bad sync issues. I copied the videos on my PC and it played fine. Anyone else have this problem? is there a fix?
P.S. I used VLC and still bad playback.
