Hey all,
I posted a video below of the problem I'm having with the CM7 lock screen not unlocking. This is the Lens lock screen that's integrated in CM7 and it will not let me get past it. I've tried rebooting, battery pull, wipe cache/davlik/format system and reapplied the ROM in CWM and still, nothing happens. I even tried a flashable zip of an ICS lock screen for CM7 from the Themes section here and this is still happening. The phone is a Motorola Triumph running CM7-TG-Reloaded ROM with a build date of 12-30-11.
Any ideas other than wiping it out completely and starting from scratch?
Thanks!
Have you tryed to grab the lense square higher then the square really is? I get the same bouncing effect when I put my finger in the middle of the square and then try to unlock it: I can't go down anough so the square bounces back up. So perhaps there is some kind of miscalibration which make your lockscreen think that your finger is lower on the screen then it is.
Also, try if you can get past it when you have to answer a phonecall. During that phonecall you can navigate into your phone and chance the lockscreen settings.

Hi,
I was playin around with different Roms lately and I tried out Cloudy's Rom and it changed the inital startup screen. The one you see when you immediately start the phone. It has a Android and a Owl onscreen and you see it until the phone moves on. Normally for TmoUS owners its a Red and WHite screen thats stock and something about Stick together. My question is this how do I get rid of the owl and Android picture and go back to the stock startup screen or at the very least the Energy startup screen? I'm new here relatively so please be patient if I've posted this in the wrong area plz.
Anyone else get random line flicker on the bottom of screen when rotating screen sometimes?
Only happens in the stock Honeycomb launcher and with the animations turned on, of course. Happens to me on the original firmware and on the touchwiz updated firmware.
It's just like one or two lines. Usually they popup when I rotate sometimes they dont but rotating a few times will trigger them.
It happened once with Transformer's water live wallpaper.
Happens to me, too. I get a couple of green lines when I rotate the homescreen.

Anybody else? Anybody get this on stock ROM?
Helping with my girlfriend's Atrix, and it's been a bit of a nightmare -_-
Got it back to stock minus unlocked bootloader, but now, the touchscreen stretched off the screen of the unit. Lemme see if I can explain better:
About halfway down from the top, the screen becomes less accurate and seems to be stretched below it. For example, if I want to type something, pressing space bar will get be b or g, and to type a space, you have to press between the home and the back buttons.
Unfortunately, the entire bottom row of soft keys are completely inaccessible.
Is there a utility that can recalibrate the screen, or a file I can edit to bring the system back to normal? Flashing stock fruitcakes doesn't seem to help, and I even tried a pudding sbf file (I know the risks), and that didn't restore the proper screen behavior.
Google-fu also failed me, so if anyone knows the answer, please help
Potential clue: Installed Neutrino ROM 1.4S at on point in the process to her phone, but I'd think that writing a full SBF over that should eliminate that problem?
Update:
Tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1421261
Then this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1421522
No improvement, so I reinstalled Neutrino, and still no improvement
User Beeboobop over in the Neutrino thread nailed this for me

Looks like a problem with your pds partition. This should fix it:

I applied that fix by following the steps exactly in that link, and full screen functionality is back!
I have searched the forums and not found an answer so I am posting a question.
I flashed Aura ROM and been very happy for a very long time then suddenly the notification bar wont pull down.
The only thing I can think of is that I tried to use the Entertainment Dock and, although the phone went into entertainment mode, the TV remained blank, I unplugged and got on with my life.
I have since tried wipe (data/cache/dalvik), reflash Aura, wipe reflash Aura w/Bl, wipe reflash Home, flash update, flash theme, wipe...
After the above I went to restore a previous backup and got an MD5 Sums Mismatch. I repaired the backup and restored...still the problem persists.
Any ideas would be welcome. I am getting concerned that I have managed to ruin a fantastic phone.
I can confirm that there is no problem with the screen, that portion of the screen responds to swipes across and moves the desktop, just not the notification bar.
The really weird bit is that the buttons stop working, if I run my finger across from one side to the other then the screen responds (my home screen moves around).
If I go into landscape then the pull down works but the buttons are still shot and back to portrait doesn't help.
Standby and back seems to fix it (I do not have to power off).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jez
Quick update (problem persists)
I used multitouch tester to see what was happening when I dragged down the notification bar. When functioning correctly it see's one finger as one. When going wrong it sees the finger at the top of the screen as two / three / four separate presses. When I drag the one finger down the extra points stay at the top. I guess this is why the notification bar doesn't go down.

Hardware Fault
I have decided that this is a hardware fault and so I am desperately trying to hide the "unlocked" text and return the device
...or brick it in the process
wish me luck...

Just flash a GB SBF to remove the unlocked and you don't have to worry about bricks as long as you don't attempt to flash a froyo SBF. Don't worry if it doesn't boot after flashing the SBF. Just ssend it in. That's what I did.

I actually did the motorola update from their software update tool. It removed the "unlocked" text, put the T-Mobile startup animation back in and soft bricked it.
I have now sent it off for repair...three weeks
Thanks for the comment
As the title says, I was using my N10 quite a bit yesterday but just before I went to bed I noticed a strange icon (?) in the notification bar that I couldn't get rid of... kind of a white spot/circle fading out towards the edge... Anyway I turned off the Nexus using the power key and choosing shutdown. It was then stuck on the Nexus "X" screen loading for ages >10 minutes! Occasionally it partially loaded my lock screen but not for long enough for me to unlock it or anything, and then reverted back to the loading "X" screen. Anyway the only way I could "fix" it was to go into boot recovery and choose "data wipe/factory reset".
Its working now but I am slightly frustrated that I have lost all the photo's and downloads I saved onto it (I know I should have had a backup but I wasn't modding it or anything).
My questions are, has this happened to anyone else with stock rom and unroot and any idea what the icon was in the notification bar? Also, should I return it for a replacement?
Much appreciado!
