Hi SIFUs,
I just got myself a pre-loved Samsung Galaxy Note and haven't played with one before, i just realised after couple of hours, it has been already rooted to 2.6.35.14-ver1.5 [email protected]#3. I did (but maybe not enough) search around the forum but i might be looking at a wrong place on how to "un-root" the phone back to it's original state. Anyone care to help? Thanks a bunch!!

This has been a while ago for me so I'm a bit rusty now.
I've got a problem, in my eyes a big problem, so every help will be appreciated!
My phone: Samsung galaxy S2
SW: android 2.3.5-2.3.6
sync prog: KIES
What did I do:
I wanted to update my phone (all official) to version 2.3.6.
I read that it could fix some problems if I give it a factory reset.
Well that went good (yes, yes everything saved and backup).
Normal progress first let the PC do all the work, and when it says its done, disconnect and reboot.
Now the screen is frozen at the welcome screen.. "Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100"
I have absolutely no idea how I can fix this.
When I wanted to hard reset it again I saw this:
Can't access to '/system/csc/XEU/system/'
I searched it here and found this topic.
Almost everyone there says its no problem.
So ok no problem.
But how to fix the frozen welcome screen?
I've seen this topic and it seems his problem is the same like me. But can I do this to, or is my problem different?

ODIN will probably work, It worked on my gf's crashed Galaxy Ace.
Just put phone in download mode again and flash stock firmware.
Trying right now.
I'm going to eat in a couple of minutes so I'll see what happened after I'm back.

Well 1 min later... my screen of my PC frozes and the first box in Odin turned red and it says FAIL!

Hey guys, I posted a topic earlier in "General" about getting help finding my firmware for my tablet. No ones bothered to help.

I rooted my tab using "Framaroot", no problem whatso ever until I didn't make a backup of my rom and installed chainfire3D, Big mistake. My tablet got soft bricked and I've literally tried everything. I've read the chainfire3D posts literally 10 times each and still can't get any help. I have tried ADB, Wiping my device (it didn't delete the chainfire3D) my last option was to email who I bought the tab from, they've been extremely helpful until I emailed them to point me in the direction to download the firmware and stock rom. They still haven't gotten back to me, and this tablet doesn't make such a good door holder thanks in advance.

I was using a ROM (MUI) later i try to install another, but i did a wrong option ( i don't remember actually what is) but now it erase me all the system. when i turn my phone on its only ( samsung galaxy s2 on the screen and nothing happen), also can use lock, volume down and home to downloading mode. i don't know what to do :'(. please some one help me i got a samsung galaxy s2 i9100 im kinda desperate.
i want to know how i can get to stock. please some help URGENT! :crying:
Why on Earth would you do something ridiculously foolish like that ? If you're going to mod your phone, make sure you understand what you're doing before you do it & pay attention.
The help you need is in this thread, and by that I mean do what I told that guy to do (and what Hopper also told him to do). Do not post to the other thread, simply read the help I've provided, and go fix your phone.
I referred you to it because I can't be arsed typing the exact same thing 3 times within 5 minutes (twice is plenty for my level of patience, trust me).

Hi. I am new to this forum but i think i kinda understand what your problem is. I mean a solution since you get to go into the downloading mode. try to use odin to flash the sammy stock rom? Somewhere in xda you can find the tutorial. Good luck.

so I having troubles finding a stock rom for my Samsung galaxy j7 sm-j727r4 for us cellular, I went to root and I messed up and didn't set a recovery now I lost it. so im wondering if someone might have one of these nifty files laying around I could use? sorry if I posted in wrong thread.
Hi, I just Fixed,an old sgh-i7i7 galaxy note 4.0.4 ICS , and am looking to root,as alot of the apps are stock,and dont work. Ive looked for the files to do so every where,and every link I come across is dead. Im pretty new to this,as I only just recently rooted my galaxy tab a for the first time. Im guessing the only file I really need , and am having troble finding is the rom. i have a copy of 1.85 odin which I believe is the correct one. If you guy's could steer me in the right direction, or provide the correct files, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
