Looking for Rogers Razr ROM, will greatly appreciate if someone can upload the file. Thanks!
Also looking for this, If you find it please let me know..
I gotta return mine and they won't take too kindly to not having the rogers rom on it.
Would be helpful in case I ever need to return this Rogers razr for warranty service!
Over in developement sectiom, gsm/cdma eternity fastboot files, no rogers rom but the Brazilian one works. There are two, i think both work, but try the one that is NOT marked vivo.br. other Roger wireless customers, including myself have flashed this ROM and it works fine.

Hey there, umm... well I managed to only pull my System files out of my phone because I had rooted the device. The problem is I was trying to do a Clockwork Recovery but I didn't have a microSD card to install the backup. Also not sure what the backup of the system folder would do. The only way I was able to get the phone back to stock was to Root the device with DoomLords rooting method. Then I had pulled the system folder out to back it up in case I mess up the Apps after doing a Titanium backup removing all Rogers Apps. To get to stock the only way I was able to put back the files I removed without flashing was to push the apks back into the system folders. If I had an SDcard before I had sent the Razr for repairs I would of had a full clockwork backup. Soon as I get it back I'll try to do a Clockwork as that is the only way we'll get a rogers stock as of right now I believe.
This Razr had caused me tons of headaches two of them having the random shutdowns and 1 just died completely. So maybe it can all be related to software too, hopefully that is the case as I don't mind having a second phone.

I'm thinking about SBFing my rooted x2 back to 2.3.3 from 2.3.4 because of the terrible battery indicator, and was just wondering if I would be able to update straight to 2.3.5 (or possibly ICS) when the update comes. I don't know why this wouldn't be possible, but I just wanted to make sure before I actually SBFed the phone.
I also was wondering if my phone would still be rooted after the SBF because of the maintain-root-through-any-update mod. Any thoughts?
On a different note, if I had the x2 bootstrap, the maintain-root-through-any-update mod, and MyBackup Root, could I just backup all my apps and the system (using MyBackup Root and the bootstrap, respectively), SBF, then restore the phone by downloading the bootstrap and MyBackup Root and restoring my apps/system? Would this get my back to where I was before, or would I have to manually download each one of my apps and lose all previous data that I had on them? I'm just wondering what's the easiest way to restore my phone back to the layout that I had before I SBFed.
Thanks for your answers to any of these 3 questions!!! I definitely appreciate it.

Perhaps someone elses experience proves different however, I kept 2.2.2 on my DX2 for quite some time because of similar reasons. When I decided to take the plunge from 2.2.2 and upgraded to 2.3.4 OTA, my phone needed to first upgrade to 2.3.3 before it would upgrade to 2.3.4. Thus, I had to perform two separate OTA updates.
If you're going to SBF you can SBF directly from your current version to the desired version.

To be honest, I'm not sure. I personally prefer to SBF to a clean DX2, wiping all settings and cache. To me I treat it like formatting my computer with a clean install of it's OS.
Perhaps someone else will have more insight with the maintain root through updates mod.

What I typically do is using the X2 Bootstrap, I make a Nandroid backup and restore directly from that. Performing an SBF is only going to be necessary if the backup was on a different kernel, otherwise if you may run into boot looping.
What exactly happened and what are you trying to do? Are you trying to restore your phone to an earlier point via SBF? As in you enjoyed the phone on 2.3.3, made a backup and now you're unhappy on 2.3.4 and wish to go back?
It sounds like if you were to SBF back to your desired version (the version you made the backups on) you would then be able to apply your backups and should be back to your desired phone state.
I'm slightly confused to the details due to the way it's worded. I know it's somewhat difficult to describe but that's the basic idea I'm getting. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or fill in the blanks.
Is 2.3.5 much better?
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
Okay so what I did was SBF back to 2.3.3 (I did this two nights ago) and before I did that, I:
1. Renamed the bloatware back to .apk (I had the suffix's ".bak" as an alternate "freezing" method).
2. Used MyBackup Root to make a backup of all my apps+their data.
3. Made a backup of the phone using the bootstrap.
4. SBFed
5. Rooted
6. Downloaded MyBackup Root
7. Restored all my apps and data and it worked!!!
8. Celebrated! I had no faith in it working but all my apps are back! I was so impressed, I was expecting to have to redo all my games and everything. MyBackup Root is such a sweet app, or I'm just a loser.
I hoped this helped other people, I had no idea what was gonna happen, no one's ever told me how to specifically get my phone back to the layout that I wanted.
and related to reaktor's post, what I was doing was SBFing back to my desired state of 2.3.3, just because I hate the battery glitch on 2.3.4. It had nothing to do with any apps I had, sorry for the confusion.
Your last reply was a little off but that was my fault, I'm sorry for my wording haha. I just have never known how to NOT have to redownload all my apps and start over on my games' data once I restore/SBF a phone. Now I know.
BTW my phone didn't maintain its root, just for reference for others. I had to reroot.
Well... You might want to do that again. There's now a battery fix for 2.3.4 and 2.3.5 in the dev forum.

Hello everyone. I recently purchased the Rezound to test it out and see if I liked it. I have made the decision to send it back and keep my upgrade. I restored a nandroid backup that I made of stock rooted. I thought I was golden and would only need to remove the root apps and re-lock the phone. I went to turn the wifi on and received the "error". I've tried the steps at this link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21442702&postcount=3) but I cannot get into recovery to do steps 1 through 3 first. My update to 2.01.605.11 happened immediately once I activated the phone so I am on the newest version.
Is there a way I can get my phone back to 100% stock out of the box? I understand that it will show as "re-locked", but from what I have read that wont be a problem when I return it. I came from the Droid X2 where we could SBF back to stock through RSD.
I should have known better than to begin rooting and modding before I was sure I was going to keep the phone.
Thank you all in advance for your help with this and I hope you all have a blessed day.

The RUU is the closest we have to SBF. Can you do a battery pull and get into HBOOT? If so then you can still run the RUU after you deal with the mainver problem. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1467099
Here is the stock rooted rom. If you dont want to mess with the mainver and ruu.

Thanks guys. I kept fooling with my phone while waiting on your replies. I now have followed steps 1 and 2 in the link I provided above. I formatted my system in recovery as it stated. I am now in recovery but cannot select either of my two nandroid backups. I'm afraid to shut down or reboot. What now?
I'm ready to go back to my X2 where I know what I am doing!

In the Vigor rom collection on the development selection they now have posted the most recent RUU based on the OTA so you can flash that and you will be back to stock. Just have to be relocked and on stock recovery.
Please I need answers to this issue, not people blaming me for being such a noob. I reprogrammed a Verizon Droid Razr for my colleague here in Nigeria, we both work for a CDMA network. The phone was fine, voice, text and data working until yesterday he told me the phone lost network. I asked him what happened before then and he told me he did an update (the ICS update), so everything went back to Verizon defaults and I needed to reprogram again. I got to reprogram it today but there was no data so I figured I would go back to GB 6.12.181 which the phone was on before the update. I chose DroidRAZR Utility 1.6 which I have on my laptop to do the job. After this my woes began. The phone now stops at the Motorola logo and after that goes blank. I tried again but it was the same response, and I discovered that the recovery changed too, and where I should hit both volume buttons to get the option to wipe all I see is automatic update inside recovery. I tried to remove the sdcard, but I guess the update file he received is in the internal storage. How can I get the phone working again, whether on ICS or GB, whichever would work. Or do we have a total brick? Please I need urgent answers. Thank you all.
Pls people, Help Me!
After Upgrading to ICS you CANNOT downgrade back to 2.3 again, part of ICS does NOT allow downgrading, if its CDMA and you can get to bootstrap you could flash the ROM again, use the sdcard in another device to copy the rom, but it MUST be ICS you CANNOT install GB anymore

Thanks for your reply lashton. Please can you point me to a guide on how I can restore the phone to ICS. It is stuck on Invalid Flash Mode now and the battery is low, but I want to make a factory cable to use tomorrow and see if I can get the phone working again. I just need to know this is possible to restore to ICS.
Thanks.
What you have is soft brick. And yes you will be able to go back to ics but now gingerbread. Look online there are plenty of people that have soft bricked their phones thinking they could just go back to GB. Lol including me. Happy digging! =)

Please dear sir Chuckleb0ne, kindly guide me on how to do this since you have experienced it before. I have only till tomorrow to get this working as the phone has my friend's official company line on it, he must be able to use it for calls tomorrow. Down on my knees, tears streaming down my eyes... pleading for help...
OK. I managed to construct a factory cable and it supplied power to the phone, so far so good. I tried to use Droid Utility 1.7 to unbrick (option 2) but it didn't work, I mean the fastboot flash went through but I still cannot go further than the Invalid Flash Mode screen, no matter what. I can't even go into recovery. That's a major issue, I think. If I could get into recovery I could sideload the ICS zip I copied on the sdcard with the Utility tool. I next tried option 1, which is Prepare for sideloading ICS on any GB. It didn't work either. Please people, what next before I go crazy. We do not have Verizon here so their support is out of the question, or even returning the phone. I must fix this, with your help, because I have run out of ideas here. Help needed!
Try to boot through BP Tools. The phone must be unplugged. If you can reboot that way then just rewrite the boot .img, I want to say its option 9? Kinda sounds like what happened with my phone, but after I saw the dead android with the door open I believe I could still get into stock recovery and side load .211.
Guys, I got it back on. I used DroidRazr Utility 1.6, 1.7 and this file - Blur_Version.6.12.181.XT912.Verizon.en.US.zip, all three in combination. the blur file on my sdcard, fastboot restore to 181 with Utility 1.6, move into recovery, wipe data and cache, fastboot 211 boot.img from Utility 1.7, back to recovery, flash the blur file on sdcard... ladies and gentlemen, we have a working Droid RAZR on ICS 211. Happy mode activated...
Nice job ezeuba! I'm trying to find a way to get my RAZR back to GB because I HATE ICS. I've been using it for 2 days and I want to smash my phone. I keep finding people saying that it is not possible, although I have found 1 or 2 references stating that it may be possible but is very risky. I am willing to take any risk at this point as my phone is pretty much useless to me now anyway and it is at very high risk of being utterly destroyed. It amazes me how fast you can go from love to hate with a device. This fiasco reminds me of the day I "upgraded" from Windows XP to Vista. At least Microsoft left me the option to go back...
Question: When you did "fastboot restore to 181 with Utility 1.6", were you back to a working GB 181? Were you forced to move "up" to ICS or was it your choice? Thanks in advance for any information!
See! Once you do a little digging you come up with a solution. And now you probably feel incredible for doing it yourself.

To answer your question first, no I didn't have a choice to stay on Gb or move up to ICS. I only did fastboot to 181 with Utility 1.6 in order for the phone to even boot up to recovery. Prior to that I only had "Invalid Flash Mode" error, no recovery, nothing. So, after fastbooting 181 I got to recovery, wiped data and cache, went back to Utility, 1.7 this time, and flashed boot.img for 211, then went back into recovery and sideloaded the downloaded 211 update file on my sdcard. After that could I get full boot to ICS on the phone. No need dreaming of reverting back to GB, it's not possible, at least for now with a locked bootloader.

You are right. Nothing a bit of research would not solve, if you are really determined to get it to work. It was your assurance that it was certain to work that fired me up. I was afraid the phone was dead and about to be buried.
Thanks.
Thanks ezeuba! Fortunately ICS is starting to grow on me. I was able to load the old Gmail app which was my main issue and find some other workarounds for various other issues.
Hello.
I have a Motorola Atrix that is not working and I have no clue about the history of the phone. I have no idea how it was messed up, or what was done to the phone.
Currently I see a screen with the M logo on it and the word unlock in the top left corner. I have seen many other people with this phone have had this same issue. I tried doing the common tip of wiping data and cache but nothing worked.
Can anyone help me out here. I dont care what the phone looks like I simply need it to turn on without a hitch and be able to navigate the menus. I could go completely stock and be thrilled. My only problem is that I am a complete beginner and cant figure out what to do or where to find current files. I have done a lot of searching here and a lot of the links seem to be broken, probably because this is an older phone...
Thanks anyone in advance!
PS: Im trying to fix this to turn into ATT for a credit towards a new phone, anyone who helps me solve the problem gets a free meal!

Try flashing the 4.5.141 (2.3.6) SBF file via RSD for a full stock experience. This makes the phone "forget" that its unlocked (the unlock at the top left disappears). If you want to keep it unlocked, flash a fruitcake via CWM.

Here's the post that gives you 4.5.145 (2.3.6). It returns the phone to stock and unlocked, but gets rid of the recovery. You'll need to dig through your system partition to delete the file that forces the stock recovery to show up before flashing a new recovery.
Warning : This may brick your phone . I am not responsible for damaged devices.
OTA IS ONLY FOR AT&T
Here is the OTA update zip
CAUTION!!!!
Some users reported bricks
failed to boot 1

And 38P Radio Rom (pulled from ota)

I dont prefer to flash ota
And the fruitcake
All credits goes to NYG-SBXLII
THIS IS FOR UNLOCKED DEVICES ONLY
BE SURE TO BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING
DONT FORGET TO WIPE USER DATA
Download here http://www.mediafire.com/?yofp249u4bcc26m
Also, here's another way to do it. Either method will work. The method below tells you where the recovery file i mentioned earlier is in the system partition.
I have made a cwm flashable zip for anyone that would like to test the new build. It includes kerrnel, system and webtop. I have tested this on my device and seems to work fine. However i will not be responsable for any bricked devices. flash at your own risk.
i have rooted this build with an older method so su binarys may need to be updated
also you will need to have a way to reflash your recovery there is a recovery-from-boot.p file in /system that will overwrite recovery with a stock one on every boot. it should be a very easy fix just find the file in /system and delete it reflash whatever recovery you like and the problem should be solved (sorry i just didnt have time to fix this)
For non AT&T users if you would like to try this build you can probably use the ramfix or one of faux123's kernnel. I can not tests this so i have no idea if it will work

I was wondering a few things if anyone could help. I have the metro version

twrp, which is awesome. Also I bought a sd card reader from Walmart so
I can add and remove files to the sd if I ever brick the phone. I have
tried cm11 wasn't for me. I have rooted the phone etc. I'm trying
to get back to the state of when I first got the phone. Currently I flashed
bnb's clean twrp files and am back to stock. I want to get rid
of twrp and go back to thr original bootloader if theres
a way. From what I know the bootlaoder is locked up.
Im thinking about taking the phone back to the store as the
owner knows exactly what I'm talking about when I start grilling
him with questions about different roms and such. Do you
think at the store they may be able to reflash it? I've
tried via odin, but can only flash the twrp and then from there
I am able to flash the clean backup. I totally want to go back
to original. If you guys have any tips, questions or comments
please and thank you.
