I came from a nexus s 4g. Once I got all the crap off of the 3d...man I'm loving the speediness of it...
Took me many hours and a few restorations but it was worth it.

Howd I do what? Remove the crap? I just get into root explorer, after rooting of course, and delete the stuff I dont use. I hated the scrollable page of running services when I took it out of the box.

Lol lucky you man I have the new Hboot on mine its a brand new phone. Been looking into the htc dev root method reading up more about it. Looks easy just wonder why htc made it so screwy lol.
My GSM Evo 3D is hardware version 0001, so I suppose that hardware version 0002 simply is the CDMA version. Odd though because the CDMA version of the phone was announced first.
Yeah I dunno, just got lucky with mine.

Bet there will be a way soon to root with S off with out going HTC route on things. Seems like they wanna keep track of who is rooted.

Thanks post what you deleted.
Im gonna try to get a list together tomorrow. Chances are that Ill be listing or uploading the files that remain in the /system/app folder.
I also search for a term in the filenames of things I delete. For example, in /system/app, Ill delete everything associated with the calendar. Then at the root(\), Ill search for calendar and delete those files/folders as well. I use root explorer.

I'm sorry but this is awful, it's just camo slapped over pretty much everything and whatever was left untouched was turned green. That's not a skin, it's a paste-job.
Always take the good with the bad. I have had people download my ROM and say they hate the blue. It takes all kinds.

Seriously, good work. To put it in perspective, magnus has taken a lot of flack from haters over the time he's been theming and making roms but he believes in his product and he works damn hard. Ok guys so as many of you know, I'm working on bringing a stable build of AOKP Jelly Bean to our EVO 3D (cdma) and so far things are looking good!
With that said, have received my share of PMs from members that don't meet the minimum requirement of posting in the Development section. I honestly don't mind answering PMs but it can take away from other things like the ROM...hahahha
This thread will be for discussing the ROM, sharing setups like screenshots or whatever.....nothing more, nothing less
I will check this thread daily and answer any questions that are left by members that don't meet the minimum requirement of posting in the Development section so don't hesitate to ask

I can't run this ROM on the weekend because I need the camera for family pics, but I'll run it during the day all week and help out with any errors or anything. I'm 1.5 s-off (wire trick) and it ran just fine last night after I put the kids to bed.
Any luck with the 1.58 hboot working? Or should I downgrade?

How easy is it to downgrade with the new sprint release
Maybe I'm just missing the setting somewhere but is there a way to enable the regular lockscreen as well as a secured one (i.e.: Regular lockscreen with widgets followed by a pattern unlock lockscreen)?
Either way, this is an excellent running rom so far, Mazda. Thanks for your work so far and I can't wait to see it grow over time.
Thanks for making this page for us under the 10 post limit!! One question...anyone having issues with the GPS?? It seems to locate me pretty good but when trying to use navigation on Waze it doesn't seem to keep up with me while I'm driving. Its like it takes about 30 seconds or so to update my location while on the move. Thanks again for this awesome ROM!!

If you are s-off then it's as easy as loading the PG86IMG.zip in the boot loader for another hboot version. You can get them on the development forum. Or from the juopunutbear website.
If you are s-on I have read that you can s-off using the wire trick method.

This could be just the area you're in. GPS is horrible to troubleshoot as one person reports that it works GREAT, ZERO ISSUES and the next person YELLS, KICKS and SCREAMS at me because they got lost on the way to work...hahahaha
I will look into this issue and see if the gps.shooter.so is outdated or what the case is!! Thanks for reporting this

Short answer.....NO :laugh:
Long answer......This may come with time! AOKP Jelly Bean is not officially released as you can see by checking their site. This means that features are being added in almost daily so just hang tight. IF it does it gets pushed out....I'll make sure that our Unofficial ROM gets it BUT don't quote me on this as it may very well be left out due to stability issues or whatever
Mazda, is there currently an effort to get Wimax working on this ROM? I know that cm9 has it but don't know how hard it is to bring that feature over to this ROM. Thank you for your efforts.

You can use 7zip to extract the 2 apks from the zip. Phone.apk and HtcDialer.apk. I don't know much about non rooted devices, but I assume you can push the apks to system/app without root(?)

That's what I figured. You do great work. After I rooted I went to your ourboros(sp?) 2. Everytime I flashed a new rom I ended up going back to one of your roms as a daily. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Slow down there, man. lol Nothing is working on this as of yet. Data, camera, wi-fi, nada. They can get it to boot. They're working on the rest as time goes on.
All we can do is wait. I've been on 5.5 build v3 what feels like forever now. None of the Kit Kat roms via AOSP have really caught my interest, so I've just been on a standstill until something breaks through. lol

I know what you mean about aosp nothing against the devs just prefer sense. I know nothing is working yet and personally I don't care about Zoe. Just from my experience most people tend to read the first few pages then jump to the end so I figured if it was in early there (hopefully) wouldn't be multiple people asking lol.

I'm in the same boat. I think I did the firmware update at like 330a.m. ran captains stock then jumped to sense 5.5 and have been on it since. Just reflashing the latest build when it was released. Love Sin's work.

I have a cross between hybrid rom,chubbz sense 5.5 and sense 6 mods.. i need someone who can upload it to please pm me their hangouts so i can link then to my google drive.. my phone wont let me post..
