When I run Tango app which app is for video chat.
this is a problem...when i use tango app, receiver doesnt hear my voice but if
I put my hands free, receiver can hear my voice
I never muted..
Is there anybody who had same happened? and solve this problem??

Hi there,
I bough a htc eris to have a nice skype phone while traveling. The problem is that skype is choppy.
I am using skype from the market.
I tried : using stock, using froyo, ginger bread and few roms, I tried skype installed on the sd card, off the sdcard, tried to overclock the phone, underclock it, played around in the audio setting, tried without the proximity sensor, with headphones etc... but the problem is so similar from one version to another that I doubt it's the actual os.
I tried the audio to listen to music and that was flawless...
The problem is that skype is really choppy - the person I call hears me ok, but I loose little bit of conversation ... when it's a recorded message it's even worst for some reason.
Does anyone uses the Eris HTC with wifi only and have a good skype connectivity ? (It would help to find that out first). If so what version are you using? Anyone else have trouble with skype wifi on the eris ?

From today, Skype is out of beta. But I still can't activate video chat on my Mozart. Just wanted to know if it is only me or anyone else is also facing this issue.
Video chat is working with my.Mozart. but I'm using the back camera.

I tried video chatting at a higher speed WiFi (256kbps) and it worked without any problem. Earlier I was using 30kbps. Lesson- Video chat on Skype on WP7 doesn't work well at low speed.
Mods please close this thread if they see it fit.

on this topic has anyone been able to use the earpiece to listen to other people though skype? because whenever i try and even press the speaker button on skype it just plays through the main speaker

I have installed Resurrection ROM v2.6 on my International Galaxy S2. Whenever I try using Skype or Tango, I am having a weird problem - the person whom I am calling can hear and see my but I am not able to hear anything. It is like the speaker and earpiece just refuse to work for a video/voice chat client. :crying: In any case, I have tried deleting the app data and then re-installing Skype and Tango. But it doesn't work.
I had v2.5 installed before and it was working fine. If nothing works then I will probably just back-port.
Any help would be much appreciated.

try removing all voip apps reboot an install only skype first
and try dng a test call it mite work

My Skype sound dont work, since I flashed Cyanogenmod 7.2 (2.3.7). All Versions of skype, tango and other programs sough and the speaker at the downside is automaticaly enabled. My friends at the other side of Skype cannot hear me. They only here me sough.
Anybody with the same problem here?

Same issue here..for Skype
Same issue here as well and also in the miui rom...no problems when we run skype on stock froyo

yes, no problems at Stock Froyo, but skype on MIUI + Cyanogenmod is buggy.
i uses Fring to call video chat, it's good.
and Kakaotalk to call voice chat,it's clear.
I dont know is this problem is only me, but on every nightly since I bought this phone and installed CM11 using Skype is pain. The camera and my microphone is not working, I can see my friend but they see only black screen and they can hardly hear me. Is there any fix for this and is this known problem? If anyone know fox for this I will appreciate.
