I can access with both program but my microphone seems not working well, do you know why?

Mic doesn't work on the app
I have the same problem when I use skype or viber. Both apps launch well but when I attemp to make a call the mic seems to be broken.
Anyone with the same problem? How do we fix it?

Even if nobody knows the solution or the cause to this problem, could someone please try opening the video and reporting if the sound is ok without earphones?

I installed the ViperDNA Sense5 ROM, and it's great, a huge thanks to the developers... Almost everything runs fine, but I have a problem with Skype calls. If I make or receive a video call, the other party hears me fine, but I can't hear them at all, just no sound whatsoever from the loudspeaker. And the audio only calls just make a screeching sound from the earpiece.
A similar problem is reported on the M7WLV Port thread, and as a solution an alternative kernel by MicroMod777 is suggested. I tried that kernel as well, and it does solve the problem for the audio only calls (no screeching sound anymore, and I can here the other party fine), but the problem remains for the video calls, just no sound from the loudspeaker.
Anyone else experiencing similar issues with the ViperDNA Sense5? Or maybe somebody found a solution...
Will really appreciate if someone helps with this issue...

I am having this problem too, its happening with line, viber, skype and i suppose with similar applications. I hope someone can help us fix this

I've been using the nightlies for about a month now and recently installed the M1 snapshot. In both the nightlies and M1 the speaker phone does not work while in a call. I can hear the caller but they can't hear me as if the mic is muted. Also, things like voice commands doesn't work either in Google Now for instance. I searched the CM Jira bug tracker, but the only report of this I could find has been closed as not an issue. I saw someone else reporting this problem in a thread here and was wondering if anyone knows of a fix/workaround or is having the same problem.

Have had the phone 4 days. on VZW. last night caller complained she couldn't hear me (I use the speakerphone almost without exception). Again this morning. Called a friend and we tested.. he could hear me when I talked in regular mode and as soon as I turned on the speakerphone, I could still hear him but I was muted. Called VZ. reboot with/out sim card etc.. they know nothing. A buddie at VZ reset some stuff and nothing. said to return the phone.. might try a full reset first.. love to know of a fix. Thx!
UPDATE: took the phone into VZW and exchanged it.. hours of set-up.. but so far so good.. really like the phone...

I am using my Xperia P with percy's Cyanogen Mod 11 SNAPSHOT M11 and it's working pretty good
But sometimes, an error occures, so that people can't hear me, when they call me.
Rarely, I got a similar problem, when I am calling somebody. So at first I can't hear the calling beeps (don't know how to say that right in english ), then the conversation starts, but I can't hear the other one and he can't hear me.
The problem appeared first with M10, so when I installed M11 I made a factory reset, but it looks like that wasn't the problem.
Is it a hardware problem or just a bug in CM?
