Hey guys,
I happened to come across this cool home app.
http://spb.com/products/mobileshell/
Tried installing it but it says phone is compatible although I did notice the home managed to load in background. Anybody has a port or using it on GT540?
Hi there!, this is a "Winmo" Launcher/home
but theres a android version in development :3
we can only wait and hope ;D
The Android version is already out. I have the apk, I can send it to you if you want. It doesn't work on Optimus.

http://support.softspb.com/default.asp?202208_o7pv3m70
It won't work due to lack of OpenGL ES 2.0.
spb make me laugh shell 3d does work on the optimus i was using it last night i will even upload a video tomorrow to prove the it works
also i think for a launcher the price is far to high for me to pay for it legally lol.

I'm guessing it will work for people with custom ROMs. More specifically 2.2 or 2.3.
The support thread says only that it's not supported officially. Not that it won't work at all.
It is working I'm using it....its a bit laggy though but it is working and working fine

also works for me. I found version 1.0.1.
good but is blocked after the internet connection
only flaw on our device employs over 40 mb of ram
40MB RAM? You all should check out iHome then.
I love it
Guys this is the best launcher i ever see to android, it worthed every euro. And bye the way, it works very well in our phone. If you are worried about the memory, i can tell you, the android 2.3.3 (Mur4ik) manages the memory very well.About the battery you have too wait, because i didn´t have time too analyze, but tomorrow i tell you something.
what? is fully working on LG gt540? No! device says not supported.
I use android 2.3.3 Mur4ik
Hey just wondering. Now I was a follower of Yongzh's work and have his emulators paid for before they pulled it from the market. Now I see a new line of emulators on the market, nes.emu and others .emu
So the real question is, are these new ones better? Or should we stick with the old ones. Also anyone know if Yongzh is still updating his apps? Where is he hosting them now? I know one time he was hosting on a different market, but didnt really look much into it. If anyone has some insight to this all, would be nice. =)

Not sure if he's still updating, but his are still my favourite.
md.emu is by far my favorite Genesis emulator plus he is working on Sega CD emulation for it as well.
The same dev's SNES emu is excellent. In fact , all his emus are my favorites and I too have Yongzh's
Well according to what I read about .emu ones. Is that he has built in Wiimote IME support vs having to download an extra app?
Also as for the Sega Cd stuff. Been there done that, still host the project. www.gens.me =) Been awhile since anything happened. Contacted the dev to see if he wants to link in.
Yonghz is still supporting his n64 emulator on the slide me market. It is 4.99 the rest are free, snes, gba

Slide ME Market? Do I download that from the market store or what? I used to see on superoneclick talking about multiple markets, never quite understood it.

Question, if you paid while it was on google market, Does he still provide you updates for free? How does that work?
Anyone know if he still honors updates?

U need to buy the n64oid on slideme then they are honored. The google market purchse isn't honored on slide me. Remember only n64 is not free, everything else is. Do a simple google search and u can find it for free (don't pm me, I won't send u the file). Hell dude its 5 bucks... for over 400 n64 games lmfao....

Again, google search the torrent. I've seen the newest version available.
The 5 bucks were totally worth it to me, btw the newer versions run 10 times better then the older ones.

Fellow posters!! Loving this website and forum more and more everyday, learning new stuff and loving my Android phone/tablet more!! Now, the big question, is our Rezound supported for Chainfire 3D with Root or do we still have to wait for the S-Off?
There are a couple of Nvidia Optimized games that I been wanting to play but can't . I noticied the Sensation and Evo 3D are able to utilize the Chainfire to their advantage and was hoping if our device can do it also. Didn't see a thread posted about this unless somehow I missed it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1420513
This rom has a command built in to install chainfire. I ran it and it installed fine, but I don't play any games, so I'm unsure if it actually works, and removed it. So my guess is that it works fine.
I'm running CLEANRom 1.2 and I just installed Chainfire 3D
phone rebooted and works - not sure if there's a way to test it or not?

Only way that I know is downloading the correct plug ins and playing the games that are normally not supported.

yes everything about chainfire works as advertized but it makes wallpaper browsing or lockscreen browsing not work correctly on every rom/kernel out, most likely just sense framework..
Chainfire doesn't affect my wallpaper or lockscreen browsing.

I remember reading some time back about the One X being Playstation Certified. I just read on DroidGamers that Tekken2 is in the play store (huge Tekken fan). Anyone heard anything about this eventually happening to our phone as well?
I just hope the ps3 controller gets certified to work with Bluetooth on our evo without root

Was this ROM made for our phone? I know with the Hero, if you flashed a GSM ROM on a CDMA phone, you would fry the radio.
Yes its made for our phone. It's in our development section.

Hi guys
I've had a look around and understand that I'll need to edit the 'build prop' so that my device is recognised as another phone in order to have a more widespread choice of apps.
I want to install Need for Speed most wanted but the application cannot be found in the Play store and installing via the web based Play store is not allowed due to the app not being supported.
It makes me wonder how many other apps I could be missing out on!
Would anyone be able to recommend the changes to make as I don't want to make any mistakes and also how to go about making changes - I know this currently can't be done via a file explorer and probably has to be done via recovery.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Are you running custom or stock? And just throwing this out that I'm pretty sure NFS doesn't work on our phones. A review I watched showed that it just displays a black screen.

I am guessing that whether stock or rooted, by installing apps from unknown sources, you are betting (praying, might also help) that some nefarious developer out there is not smart enough to leave some "cool" bug on your device.
But I'm not positive by any means, either.
Don't know what OS you're running but both NFS run great on HD2 Ansar 8773 ROM (and in years of sideloading apps I've yet to encounter some mythical '"cool" bug' - even in WM6.5 but least of all in the protected WP7 OS..Android is a different story!)
