Stock email app - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

So I am rooted and used tibu to freeze the stock email app but when I just tried to defrost and use it it doesn't show up in the app drawer, and when I try to run app from tibu it just force closes. How can I get this app running again?

Something must have went wrong with the defrosting process. The same thing happened to Christopher Reeves when they tried to defrost him.

Try clearing app data. If not, you can check in the Apps/Themes section, I think there's a stock apk thread from which you can push the original email.apk

Try going to settings - applications - manage applications and clear data for google apps. You'll have to login to your google account again afterwards.

uninstall twitter

I don't use twitter. what's the easiest way to unintall twitter?
Go through Settings, Applications, find Twitter and then delete it.
there is no active icons that is lit up once i clicked on twitter. still showing taking up .94mb space. data however is 0 mb. does it mean i can't delete it?
If u are on stock rom you can't. You will have to root than using rooted uninstaller remove twitter.

If its a system app that came with your phone theres a chance you may not be able to remove it.
Get titanium backup and remove it with that.

Com.Motorola.contacts force close

Just noticed that if I go into any or my contacts that have been synced to Facebook will force close if i open them. I tried removing my Facebook account and cleared the data of the contacts app but still get a force close.
I'd really like to not have to reset to try and fix it. Anyone have any other suggestions?

My cousin was having the same problem on the Droid X yesterday. He did everything you could think of and contacts kept closing. In the end he unlinked facebook completely (from accounts) and the contacts app was fine. If you already tried that then i suggest probably uninstall facebook to see if it still happens.
also if you have any system apps frozen i would suggest you unfreeze them, this will cause contacts to crash too, depending on which one of course.

[Q] Removing Native Apps

I have a nexus one, running CM7.1. My question is that is there a way of removing the stock native apps like the messaging app, the browser, galary, music player or camera? Because i use PowerAMP, GoSMS, Dolphin DH Browser and i don't need the native apps, is that possible?
I don't think third party apps can working properly without those system app. But you can give it a try by freezing those system app by using titanium backup.
