Hi there,
I am unable to flash back my GT-9100 firmware back to its original state as i flash a modified PDA, Phone and CSC files into it.
The problem that i faced is i am unable to select which files for which section of Odin after downloading the ROM from Infratech's post.
imageshack.us/photo/my-images/542/firmware.jpg
Basically i do not know why the files came out this way.
Anyway the files that i having now is GT-I9100_XME_I9100DXKH2_I9100DXKH1_I9100OLCKH1
Thanks..
On top of that i actually wanted to re-install the firmware with:-
XWKF1
PDA:XWKF1
PHONE: DXKF1
Date: 04/06/2011

if u want to change your csc, then this is the solution.
1. press phone under keypad.
2. Press*#06# (copy down your imei number)
3. press *#272*imei# (key in the imei that u have copied down from step 2)
4. Menu will appear with alot of selection. just select the csc u want to install.
5. phone will reboot and u got ur csc installed.
(NOTE : IT WILL COMPLETELY WIPE YOUR DATA SO PLEASE BACKUP.)
If you find this is useful please click the thanks button.
thanks.
It installs NEE - but in kies it still says XXX
I really cant get this working. It stays on xxx in kies.
i found this, but have no clue what to do:
Work around has just been to copy the relevant \CSC folder and two CSC files + SW conf file to phone deleting originals . Files have been ripped from original firmware nandroid backup .
Factory reset and all changed .

Kies does not update stock firmware if product codes do not match firmware on the server .
Find your firmware and flash via Odin wrong CSC see the CSC post and install .
Dev section stock roms .

Did you ever get the XXX CSC sorted, I have the same problem.
OK im going to flash my Galaxy S II with the latest KH3 firmware... Its an optus branded phone.
In order to keep the Optus settings, should I flash the PDA and Modem but NOT the CSC?
Or do I have to flash a CSC file?
Basically, I want to know if I leave the CSC field blank in Odin, will it just update the firmware and modem and keep the current Optus settings?
You just have to select PDA, nothing else.
Yes keep your old CSC
Modem is also optional, if your current one is treating you well stick with it.
PDA is rom+kernel.
Keep away from the pit
Aweomse thanks guys.
I going to flash the following two files:
PDA file: CODE_I9100XXKH3_CL479037_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5
MODEM: MODEM_I9100XXKH3_REV_02_CL1050544.tar.md5
Does this look right? The PDA file is around 540MB

Yeh thats right if you want to flash the Rom+kernel and modem.
As its a user_low_ship rom it will wipe your handset, so backup anything you dont want to lose.
Hello,
I just flashed with odin the new ICS firmware out on sammobile for sgs2 (I9100XXLP6 ##) which came with a file for PDA, for CSC and for Phone, but now that I am trying to flash again any 2.3.6. firmware I keep getting errors already at the start when associating my google account and stuff...
I assume that is because of the additional CSC and PHONE file that was included in I9100XXLP6 ## but I don´t know where to find the refering files for 2.3.6. firmwares since these only come with 1 file (for PDA)...
I would be glad for any help I can get
Hi,
Could you give more information about the errors? At what point do they occur? What errors do you get?
The csc files can be found somewhere on xda, use the search function. The file you need for the phone is called a modem, can also be found on xda.
Although I do not expect that this causes the errors, how did you restore? Did you while your phone and cache first?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
What 2.3.6 rom are u trying to flash on?
If the DL was dodgy it would cause problems, redownload and reflash
PIT: if included, also optional
PDA:Code
Phone:modem
CSC:multi csc
Did you do a full wipe?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Make sure you are back on the GB boot loaders and that you have done a full wipe.

greetings hello I commented that the same thing happened to me the only thing I do is flash with this version XWKK5
follow these steps:
1.Install again (XXLP6) completely.
2.turn off the phone and enter download mode and install the (XWKK5).
3. Once you install the XWKK5 completely. turn off the phone and go into recovery mode and perform the wipes
I hope to help and luck.
I hope you understand me and sorry but my English is a bit bad jejjee
I flashed this update, throuch odin, and now the phone will only boot into download mode or the screen that says to use kies recovery. The problem is, even though I can boot into download mode, the computer no longer recognizes my phone. No sounds when I plug it in or anything. If I plug a jig in, it will come on so it's not the port. Can someone help me?

You need a three part firmware, with modem, csc and pda, flash with pit and repartition, to do a full wipe. I think you used a non wipe firmware, that's the reason for the bugs.
Question
When you flashed the LP6, did you flash it with the .pit file too? I suggest you flash back to your stock ROM but you also have to flash a .pit file as well. This happened to me too when I flashed the KP8 ROM. I reflashed my stock ROM but it kept giving me errors at the initial boot. So I flashed my stock ROM again this time with the same .pit file. If I'm not mistaken it's this: u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit

Did you get the 2.3.6 firmware? If not look at this thread from Infratech: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278. Have a good look at the section marked "Individual CSC Packages". Maybe this could help if you suspect a wrong CSC being the cause of your problem.
I use the LPH on my Galaxy S2 but I have the same problem that I am having now.
I flash the Stock XXKI1 GB again and the problems continues.
I think the LPH fu** my phone at all.
I can't add any account, only gmail.
The email, facebook, can't add account, and now I cannot even pass the loading when I enter in Market.
In Market allways give me an error "Connection timed out"
And to add account on Email or Facebook it always give me this error "Connection failed"
I re-flash, factory reset, all what I can do, and NOTHING.
Please help us
I have the Stock XXKI1, not root or any modifications.

Hi.
I already have the stock rom, I9100XXKI1, downloaded from CheckFus.
That's the latest version for my country, it's a TPH 2.3.4.
When I downloaded the Stock the CheckFus only gave me one single file!
Can you tell me, where can I find the pit file for this version, if it's that possible?
I post an Image Attachment of the CheckFus, if your wanna see my Android Version.
Thanks for the help!
Anybody that tells you to flash a PIT file is an idiot . Please steer clear of PIT files .

Hi,
I think I bricked my phone. The phone is stucked in the Samsung GT-I9300 screen and I can't boot in recovery mode, I only boot in download mode
Someone can bring me the links for the stock rom but which are in separate files.
I need the CSC, the bootloader, PHONE and the rom (PDA) separately.
I follow some threads but I always receive the error NAND WRITE START.
I try flashing the PIT file but doesnt work.
If someone had fix a similar situation like that, please let me know
My phone is Samsung SIII I9300 (International) 16 gb
Thanks in advance

I'veen searching for this files and I can't find them , I look in the general section and Q&A and Troubleshooting section too and I only find the single file of the stock rom i need the files separately.
Or any advice to try to unbrick my phone
the single file conains all the files you need (.tar is a version of a zip file)
download it and extract them
you are trying to make this harder than it is
seriously, i suggest reading up on things before attempting to do anything
Try flashing without the PIT File

I try to flash the phone like you say, but get stucked and say NAND WRITE START and the phone doesn't boot to recovery mode
Your reply says its more than i just want a stock rom >>>reads as phone is bricked no / wrong pit or nand damaged ..
Three part firmware go to sammobile.com
may be worth a read
