You're not searching right. There have been at least two threads about this issue just here in the XDA forums that I've answered this in.

Though please note that my fix only works if you have root. Do you have root?

ok, thanks i´m sorry for the mistake i didn´t search it that way, besides the name of the post is quite different from that i´ve searched but still thanks for the help man, and i´m not root yet, i´m a little affraid of rooting my phone because when the screen is black in the camera app, there are zones of the screen that looks a little bit darker than the others, and i think soon i´m gonna have to take it to warranty, that´s the main reason of why i don´t root my phone

Ive been looking a bit thru google for answers to this issue at hand before I made this topic, and none of the answers found worked for me, so I am using this as a last way out.
I just installed a custom rom on my Xperia x10, everything went successfully and it works fluently, except for one tiny thing - Which also might be the most important one, I lost my signal
I can't send/recive sms/mms, do a phonecall, connect to 3G, basicly nothing a normal phone could do.
People I found on google solved this by simply rebooting the device, I tried - Im not in that lucky group.
Im not quite sure about this, but when you boot the phone should it not ask for the sim pin code? Well, it dosen't.
Thanks in advance guys, hope you can help me out
Did you reenter your APN settings?

First I made it reset to default APN settings, then I added the ones I am supposed to, but whenever I hit "save" it never shows up in the APN list
Can u pls ensure that your baseband version is supported by the custom rom

I verified all of those things before I flashed it - But I found a solution, I bought the Xperia Arc, lol
But there's one last thing tho, as the x10 is pretty much useless as it is, and me being stupid and didn't create a backup, is there any way to restore the original firmware?

Just run repair software via SEUS or PC Companion.
Hi,
I have searching a bit and haven´t seen around anything similar. Today I set the countdown in mi s2, and when it finished I was about to stop the sound and the screen was loocked, but the keypad to unlock was missing some numbers!! One of them belonged to my password! So I couldn´t unlock it.
Not sure if it is about the countdown only, but never happened before. Today to being able to use it again I had to restart the phone (remove battery).
I attach here the screen capture. I tried to rotate the phone but nothing else appeared, also to make zoom, but neither...
Have this happened to any of you? Is it something to fix it?
I am using 2.3.3, kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100BGKF5 (original kernel from Movistar Spain updated through Kies yesterday)
(Is there a way to write requests in the development threads without reaching the 10 posts in "normal" sections? I want to root this version, but haven´t found the original kernel...) Sorry for mixing two different issues.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone please help...
I'm unable to set up screen lock on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. I am able to set up passwords or lock pattern but unable to turn on the screen lock. Screen lock says off and when I press to turn it on, it just goes back to set up menu.... I have seen couple of post with the same issue but no one has replied.. I'm assuming I'm not the only one with this issue....So I'm posting this help again to see if anyone out there can help out...
Thank you.
I'm having the same problem. I noticed right when I configured him for the first time and I never made it work since then. I tried to restore the factory settings 3 times, restoring and not restoring the backup from google, changed the language ( long shot, i know ) to english ( mine is in brazilian portuguese, from VIVO ) and I could not get it right yet.
Sent from my GT-P7500 using XDA App

I notice my phone cannot remember my new SSID and password. I need to repeat it every time I use it. Can someone advise the possible cause and fix. Thanks,
This is an old problem. I've offered up this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19200613#post19200613) as a solution. Probably could have found this with a search. You need root for this fix to work.
Thanks and the fix works well!
