i own a xperia neo L MT25i, i guess plenty of people do now
so calling on all devs/experts to help us pimp our L
so far i have been able to root it thanks to the "finally rooted L" thread, but what good it is if we can unleash further powers :crying:
i desperately need a guide on "how to enter recovery mode in L" and "how to install cwm in L", am sure a lot of L owners will second these
there is a oc kernal as well as a supermodded rom floating around but we cant get to those till we achieve the above
its about time we move on from neo and neo v and show some love for neo L

ps: if help arrives via this thread, kindly keep it strictly to L issues, people looking for neo or neo v guidance please stay away from this

Novice or not novice, search.
It's even written in first post, names of threads, one of it is "finally rooted L", XDA->Neo->General section->"search this forum"(option in upper right part) and search for "finally rooted L" and you will find that thread.

DUDE..DooMLoRD *Respect* is our Saviour..he is legendary..not "something" ...and yes the link has expired and will be be up and running soon..patience..:good:
Lol.... He simply doesn't know how great DoomLord is...
He might have thought, its just a rooting toolkit's name!
However, there's a lot more to it!
You'll find Doom's name everywhere where Xperia name pops up!

If you are rooted, enable your phone's USB Debugging and then the run install-cwm from this.

The idea is simple. Doomlord kit / root toolkit / unlock bootloader / some device backups , and the most important thing is, a PC to perform all these actions.

I own a xperia neo l i hav rooted it the root checker says its rooted but when i go to flash a custom kernel itbsays device must be rooted! Can i apply jellyice cream by philip wu directly via cwm without the kernel!?

You must unlock your bootloader and you'll be able to Flash custom kernel! Rooted in Flashtool mean the boatloader!
If u don't know how to do it, then you can follow my All-in-one Thread

That's why I posted that link,instead of posting new thread you should have asked there again.
Steps to flash ftf file is same for all devices.
To connect in flashmode instead of back button,hold - volume button.

Locked bootloader or unlocked??
Download "x-parts" from play store & install cwm (for locked bootloaders)
For unlocked bootloaders just flash any custom kernel, custom kernels has built in cwm recovery

would you please read rules before you post. specially the one about subject or thread titles.
90% of people are here for help so your thread title is kinda useless.
Also some people might not even bother to read your thread with that kind of title, so I'm telling this for yourself.
Second, read some sticky threads to inform yourself about stuff for your phone. After that try using search, there is thread about how to install CWM on your phone.
Don't be lazy, try to learn by yourself.
