[Q] [Help] Windows not loading - TMobile HD2 - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
A friend has T-Mobile HD2 running winmo 6.5.
He was installing an app but window stuck. He did soft reset to reboot but it started like it starts after hard reset (windows preparing for first use). During this battery ended and cell shut down. When he charged cell and turned it on, windows stuck at booting. He did hard reset and windows prepared for 1st use but when it came to network configuration its stuck at 90percent. Tried it without sim but nothing happened. Red buton also became unresponsive as well as other keys.
Now window is stuck so cant connect to pc. Its touch also has hardware issue and it stops working very often. He thought of flashing ROM via memory card but he read that HSPL can't be installed via card.
Kindly guide how to get his cell back to work.
Thanks

Strangest Problem Ever!!!!

I'm currently facing the strangest problem with my himalaya ever since i bought it 1.5 ago.
I upgraded 2 weeks ago to the WM2005 edition. everything was smooth and fine until today. i decided to do a normal reset so that i can "Refresh" the memory. after the reset the startup screen showed up as usual. then the screen went white (or black after the backlight turned off).
nothing on the screen what so ever.
I tried to do a hard reset (to reformat the rom) but my attempt failed. actually the files on the rom were NOT erased.
I thought to myself , reinstalling the WM2005 rom from my pc would do the trick. i connected the device after putting it in (USB) mode (pressed power+ Reset+ DPAD).
twenty minutes passed as usual and it showed the congratulations screen. i did a hard reset again and again the same problem (it didnt even erase the rom).
I then downloaded version 1.75 rom from buzzdev, did the procedure again, it did install and format this time correctly , but still i'm getting the blank screen after the startup screen.
Note: the phone is fully functional in the background, i recieved calls and sms's without being able to see anything. it seems like a screen problem, but the initial startup screen is showing so that doesnt make any sense..
any help ppl is really really appreciated !!!

Is this a brick? Please help me

I've tried to search to see if anybody has ever encountered a problem like this, but my search was in vain.
I was trying to upgrade ROM, I successfully load SPL 3.5, before it I was running AP dual 3.0. However after the installation the device rebooted and the started auto customisation. It installed SDAautorun and then SDConfig.txt but before this one completes, the device reset itself. It restarted and do the same process again and again, just restart and restart.
I tried all types of resets and I even tried to reinstall other roms that worked with the device before but nothing is any good. This is because when the device boots it load the SPL 3.5 (Windows mobile 6.1) instead of installing the ROM I'm trying to install.
I get a chance to do so as the device can still connect to the computer and it stops when it prompts to callibrate the screen (tap four corners and center of the screen)
Please help me if there is anything I could do to start using my device again. I appriciate any support in advance. It is very possible that I've messed up something somewhere but please once again do help me, even if the by telling me that my Ameo is a brick that would help me to know what I've got to do.
NB: My device is T Mobile Ameo (Athena, Advantage X7500)

[Q] Help with HD2 not starting up

I need help! I started off with a stock HD2. I now am running a 2.10.50.28_2 radio with Astraios v1.6 ROM. I installed hspl3 first before flashing (I did not run a task29...). It worked fine at first and then I flashed Android via sdcard, which also ran fine. I then restarted my phone and went back to WinMo OS and it still was running fine. However, I restarted my phone a 2nd time and it would not get past the Astraios splash screen, it was just stuck there. So, I just removed the battery hoping for a hard reset. I then started my phone back up, but now it gets stuck on the HTC splashscreen and will not even advance to the Astraios ROM screen. I've tried to activesync, but it is not even being recognized by Windows Mobile device center to active synce it for a reflash...
Any advice???!! I've tried searching and searching, but I could not find an answer that did not include reflashing (does not seem to be an option as it will not even be recognized via USB).
Thanks!!

[Q] HD2 won't boot, won't hard reset, won't show bootloader.

Have been running Artemis v311 NO and Android from SD card for about two weeks. All fine. Yesterday the phone started rebooting by itself when running Artemis. I've made no changes to the phone after installing Artemis two weeks ago.
Now it wont boot at all, screen shows "please wait, loading" Have tried both soft and hard reset but none of those works. (I get no response when holding down the keys)
Have tried to get an usb connetion to flash a new image but without luck.
Is it time to get a new phone or is it possible to fix this...???

[Q] Help Needed...

Hi Everyone,
I have a HD2 from Europe and locked to the o2 network. Recently its been rebooting itself during surfing the web and while in the youtube app.
Last night it did the same but while booting up took treated me as a new user and had done a factory reset on its own accord. i turned it off and then back on but now sticks on the RGD screen during the boot.
Totally desperate, can anyone help? I can't turn it on at all so can't apply the ROM update as this needs to be synced through active sync.
Thanks in advance!!!!
No need to have the phone booted to flash. That's a common misconception.
Enter bootloader, connect USB, when "serial" changes to "USB" you can flash. (And indeed flashing tends to work better putting phone into bootloader manually first)
