YouTube force closing - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

My Prime has been flawless up until now but suddenly YouTube force closes every time I try to watch a video. I have tried the usual fixes but there is no data to clear and signing out of my account didn't help. Rebooting didnt help either. Has anyone seen this happen? Any ideas how to fix it?

If I don't touch anything while youtube plays, it works. If I touch something while the video is going, it breaks. I think youtube needs an ICS update.

same here, i just notice the same issue, some videos play fine but some videos as soon as i click on them, it fc's, hope google has a fix for this soon

its all the HD videos that cause the problem.

Oh OK, good to know. This is the first I have heard it mentioned. Thanks!

No issues for me on youtube at all.

ICS
Just got my prime today and im having the same issues. anyone got any quick fixes? does seem to be HD videos it dies on. SD videos work fine it seems though. watched a couple of trailers in sd. Maybe its to do with the Hardware acceleration with youtube on the Tegra 3, would have thought this to be tested. but hay ho!

same problem

played couple of hd movies so far to see if i have this issue, sorry but no

have we been able to watch live video with the app before?? and did we have movie categories??
have problems with sync. but the apps play video fine and don't crash

Guys try watching the very same video on the browser make sure to be on the mobile youtube site, I've gotten FC's there to i starting to think its not a app issue but a codec is missing.

no i don't have the problem... sorry if that wasn't obvious enough

I got this today as well. Annoying.

If it helps, I had this in HC and the upgrade to ICS totally fixed it!

I don't have any problems watching or uploading videos on youtube.
What's on my evo 3d

Website: http://www.completeevo3d.com
Down load jetvd it works playing YouTube videos. It will even play 3d videos too.
Sent from 3days in the future and still no dang S-off !!! WTF
In my case it doesn't play in 3g whatsoever. It only plays videos on 4g not even wifi.
Sent from my 3VO using XDA app
What does it say. Mine will say something like this video not formatted for mobile. But I will play it on another player
Sent from 3days in the future and still no dang S-off !!! WTF
It doesn't say anything it just never loads. It will show. Loading..... And it will stay like that forever. The longest I waited was 15 mins & even after it wasn't fully loaded (same on wifi regardless of speed).
Sent from my 3VO using XDA app
I'm having issues with it while on 3G. I keep getting,
"There was a problem while playing. Touch to Retry"
Ok. Now I know there's a problem. Thanks for the replies everyone. That's why I root my phone. That's why I put custom roms on my phone.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
Last update to youtube fixed the issue. I then rooted and the problem is back. Doesn't matter which rom I use I can't get it to work, even after updating the app. Dammit!!

Does netflix freeze for anyone else?

I will be watching it and it will randomly freeze but I can still hear the sound. I'm on alpha 2.1 with the newest netflix. Do I need a different version of netflix?
Sent from my Incredible 2 HD using XDA App
Yes, I have to quit Netflix and restart the video to get it to work. Any solutions?
Actually the latest version works perfectly for me. And i watch a lot of Netflix

I havent used Netflix much, mainly because the screen looks smushed because of the resolution. Anyone have a fix for that?
Happens to me to. On my htc sensation as well

I don't have that problem. With one of the newer updates Netflix goes to Tablet mode instead of looking like it's made for a phone. And the video quality is very decent, at least for Star Trek and Spongebob it is.

QUESTION: Movie Studio Video Import Working?

Has anyone tried to import videos into a Movie Studio project? I can't get it to work. Whether recorded with my Prime or copied to my Prime shot with my SGS2 I only get an error message staying that the file can't be imported. Also, it doesn't seem possible to navigate to other directories. I've searched the net and looked through Google's group but I haven't found anything. I also searched CDs. I'm hoping that my old eyes have missed something. ;-)

After a little more testing I figured out that it looks like the program can only do .3GP videos which probably totally sucks. If you record a video while you're in movie studio told that video will work.

I was just watching a video for it, and didn't know it was on sale. Downloading now. Will update after I've given it a go.
UPDATE: After playing through 5 districts with anti-aliasing set to 4x and graphics on High, I have had no issues whatsoever. I'm running AOKP at 1.5GHz max OC
The game seems like fun, I look forward to playing it further.

Yea. But the Motley Kernel has issues @ 1.6Ghz if you read the thread, but I haven't patched it or updated to the latest. I am also running stock rom and it crashes (weird).

First time I played it crashed straight away. After a restart it worked for about 8 levels then crashed again. Its not the game though. I also have shadowgun thd and dark meadow and they both crash a lot as well. Wondering whether its a tegra 3 issue

I too set the anti-aliasing to x4 and no more crashes, stock Prime.
This game vaguely reminds me of Blast Corps for N64

It's a video setting in options. Smooths edges of objects in video games etc.

My apologies if I'm being slow, but I am having difficulties finding the said settings in the options menu. Is it for stock only, or AOKP as well?

Never heard of it but I assume it's for watching tv shows. I use DroidTV Primetime and love it!! Has full seasons of shows that aren't available on Netflix or to purchase in store. IceFilms sucks lately cause most of the d/l links don't work
