Hi guys, my galaxy s2 I9100 wont connect as USB mass storage device nor to kies in my laptop. But when i connect it to another laptop, it connects!!.
I am running stock ICS 4.0.3.
guys, few weeks back i had rooted my phone and got jelly bean. and then i flashed back the stock ICS 4.0.3 from samfirmware, thus unrooting it. The phone was working fine. Kies detected it and connected as USB too. But now suddenly it does not connect. I have tried all possible things - hard reset,uninstalling KIES, samsung drivers, installing fresh drivers etc. but no help. The phone still connects as USB on another laptop.
Plz help guys.
Thanks in advance
Smruti
Hey Guys!
I recently tried to connect my Galaxy s2 to Kies over WiFi instead of USB-Cable. It accepts the device and tells on the mobile screen the device has been connected and can be synchronized. But on Kies the connect-button doesnt go away...I know its a very common problem, but i havent found a solution anywhere ;__;
Is help possible? All drivers/firmwares are up to date and i already tried to reinstall Kies.
Its no firewall related problem and ive already checked the ports and shut and firewall down. Kies Air works flawlessly...but i need the outlook sync options >.<
Hello everyone. I have a problem with connecting my Samsung galaxy S3 (android 4.3) to any of my PCs. Before everything worked fine but then I upgraded to android 4.3 and connections started crashing. It still worked but connections were unstable. So I installed Samsung Kies 3 and from then on I haven't been able to connect my device to any PC. I tried everything I found on web. I have developer mode and usb debugging on. I know my cable is OK because other devices work just fine. Someone suggested going to usb settings but apparently there is no such think in android 4.3 settings, so I downloaded some apps to change my usb settings but they all require a rooted phone. I tried rooting my phone but even for that I need to connect it to a PC. I really need to connect my phone to PC to test apps(android emulator lags waaay too much). Does anyone know how to fix this please? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello guys,
I have a samsung galaxy tab 10.1 P 5200 and I tried to root it for the first time because i wanted to install a stock android rom. So I installed a root by following the info on some site (I know it is not XDA Developers but I didnt know at the time)
Anyways everthing went on well and i got a pass in odin but tablet restarted it was stuck at the startup Samsung Logo..... I tired to restart it but I still got the same problem... it just wont go further... i went to download mode again and tried reinstalling it but still got the same problem... I saw on the net that installing firmware from kies might solve the problem but it is not connecting to kies even though the PC detects it....
I dont know what to do... PLEASE HELP!!!!
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

Install usb drivers by samsung. Did you enable usb debugging in the developer options?
Hey, whenever i go onto Odin v 1.84 and plug in the usb to the laptop and to my Galaxy ace s5830i, the usual connection in the id area does not appear. I have already downloaded and installed and tested over 20 different samsung drivers, but still no recognition is made from odin when the phone is in download mode, and connected to the laptop. However, this has not always been the case, for i factory reset my laptop yesterday, and before the factory reset, i was able to use odin because it was able to recognise my phone.
This is very concerning for me. Before i factory reset my laptop, i was able to unbrick 8 samsung galaxy aces, but now i cannot unbrick any. I have also had different versions of odin such as odin v 3.09 and odin v 4.38 and still i am unable to get odin to recognise this s5830i. If anybody could send a reply, i would be extremely grateful because i am very desperate to get this working again.
If odin is not working because there are some settings on the laptop that need changing, please tell me! The laptop is back to factory settings, so has the settings as it did in the shop.
For ur info: Laptop= Windows 7 HP Compaq presario CQ57
Phone= Samsung galaxy ace s5830i
Please reply asap, i am very desperate!
Fixed...
After about 17 hours of struggling to fix this problem, i turned to automatic driver update, and this fixed the problem. Next time, it would be extremely useful if you replied to this thread. Thanks anyway :good:

Hello,
I have the same problem, can you explain te me how did u do ?
Connect ur phone to ur laptop via a USB cable when the phone is switched on...u will see driver updates going on on screen... If not go to laptop settings and turn on automatic updates... And try again. Make sure USB debugging is enabled on ur phone in settings, applications and development... Thanks
