Thanks

Search the Market. Volume is fine for me.

Volume is fine with speaker or Headset/headphones only.

Audioboost sgs2 from market. Works well on external speaker. Just don't boost it too much.

Just for clarification, do you mean "louder" and "compared" ?
Either way I'm not sure, but replacing those makes the question make more sense to me
And if the above assumption is correct, I take it you have altered the volumes individually in settings and are still not happy (voice. media etc) ?
You got me right, I was using swype and I didn't review it.
I have checked the sound settings and it is on maximum, still incall quality is very bad.
I used swype to write this post though.

quality or volume?
I have experienced quality issues, but I put it down to network signal.
Hi
I have got exactly the same issue ; no issue to call using the handset (i do not know how to describe it in english) but as soon as I swith to headset, the volume is very low and I can not hear the caller while hearing music, app sounds,... no problem

OK, when in a call, and you push up-volume, does this alter the in-call-headset-volume?
Not tried it, just guessing
No, it says the volume is at maximum

Maybe try with NON-Microphone headset then and see if it's any different. I take it your using stock headphones?
Just a theory but maybe there is a problem with the power flow when it enables the 3rd jack socked band for using the microphone.

[Q] How to increase ringtone and notification volume on Galaxy Ace

Hi everyone,
I got myself a Galaxy Ace about a week ago and I'm happy with phone except for the ringtone and notification volume. It is just too soft. The mp3 files that I use sounds fine when played through the music player but when set as ringtone or notification sound it is too soft.
What can I do to increase the volume of the ringtones and notification sound. Any help in the matter is much appreciated.
Thanks.
Well on 2.2.1 with the samservmode app from the market it was easy but doesn´t work on 2.2.4 i made all to 9db but nothing is louder.
Would really know how to make the ace louder i think i am not the only one that feels so that the ace is really not loud.
Volume+(sound boost) app really works well to boost sound. It works only on gingerbread.
Ok I tried the samservmode app on my galaxy ace but no luck in changing the sound volume. There is an entry labeled "AUDIO" but nothing happens when I touch it. There rest of the entries in the menu works fine.
I couldn't find any app named volume+ in the market.
My phone's firmware is DXKC1 with Android version Froyo 2.2.1
Thanks.

Okay youre on 2.2.1 that is easy i help you, you got samservmode listen carefully.
Go to audio then, max8899 amp then, make following headset stereo pre amp gain 9db exit then speaker pre amp gain 9db exit then mp3 speaker pre amp gain 9db exit.
That boost 9db all music!!
20db is too much but you can try it but i find it too much.

My problem is that I can't access the audio menu at all. It just does not respond as if there is no sub menu beyond the main menu. The rest of the items in the main menu works ok.
Do I need to rooted to use this app?
It's because you can only make those changes when you're running Gingerbread.
Tap-a-talked from my Galaxy Ace
Ok, I flashed Gingerbread XXKPH Android version 2.3.4 and I could make those changes now. The sound adjustments work great but they revert back to the default settings after a reboot. Is that normal?

Yes that is normal after reboot you must set them new, but you see easy way to make +9db and it is really enough because 20db hurts in the ears.

[Q] Speaker volume issues?

This generally happens the most in netflix and music. Is there anything that can be edited in the build.prop that would possibly increase the volume? Thanks.
My speaker often doesnt go loud although sometimes it does...Havin issues.
Speaker Volume Increase
If you download "Equalizer" from the market, you can increase the volume significantly. However, realize that the louder the volume, the higher the chance of you blowing out your speaker.

[Q] Low volume in headset

hello.
i'm on latest wolfbreak v6 with doomlord's kernel v5 unlocked.
My problem is that i have low volume in headset. Is there any way to make it sound louder without running background apps like volume+ which i also feel that looses the quality as i set it at a higher volume?
before this x10 i had an iphone which had a very high volume in headset.
No one?
DSPManager isn't even working.
if i remember well on galaxy i9000 there was an app/driver for audio..voodoo.....which was much better for amplifying sound which was implemented on kernel or something like that.

[Q] How to increase speakers sound

Running CM10.1 on Tab 10.1 3G the sound through the external speakers is really low. I know that for the headsets I could use Vodoo, but how could I increase the sound in the external speakers?
Thank you
DSP Manager from the Cyanogen Mod Team.
Turn the volume all the way down, until the tablet vibrates. You should now be able to turn the volume all the way up having "recalibrated" it.
That worked for me! I'm running CM 10.1 nightlies, p7510

I did try with DSP under 'speaker' Tab. However, using Bass Boot and Equalizer does not change enough the power of the sound. Still too low.

Thank you, though Volumen+ is not compatible with Jelly Beam, so I can not use it.
