Market voice searches aren't working for me... 99% of the time, it crashes saying something to the effect of it being forced to close.
No problem doing google voice searches though.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Well I found a little problem, but it's annoying. It happens in phone and web based market. When i search with word gmail i wont find gmail but if i search ex. google gm, google mail i will find it.

Hi, I recently noticed that regardless of the rom I'm on, no voice apps like Google Voice, Speaktoit or Skyvi work for me. They keep saying they cant detect anything but voice recorders seem to work. Any ideas as to what's going on?
Have you checked you've installed TTS (Text to speech)? I think google voice apps needs it installed in order to work properly.
Yes it is installed. When I try to reinstall Google Voice from the market, it tells me my device is incompatible :S

The auto-capitalization feature only works on the stock messaging app.
It wont auto capitalize in any other text box besides the default messaging app, is anyone else having this problem?
It wont auto-cap for me on google searches, emails, or other texting/messaging apps (Skype, Vault, etc..)
I have also tried out the Swype beta, and it does the same thing.
Hi! Not sure if I'm in the right spot, but I figured I'd start here.
I just recently purchased the Asteroid Smart receiver and I'm having issues with the Google Services Framework. I followed a lot of guides to get Google Play to work on the deck and for the most part, I'm happy with how I have it setup. Google Calendar doesn't work, but I can access it from the web browser, so it's not that big of a deal. Besides that, everything else seems to work, except for the Google Play Services. It tells me that I cannot download to a duplicate user id, which I'm sure it has a lot to do with the account management apk file. Google's Framework Services also Force Closes whenever I first turn it on or/and when I connect via Wifi. It's annoying and even after the guides I've read, I can seem to fix this. Although I'd love to get the rest of my Google Apps to work, like the Calendar, I'd be far happier if I could get the FC messages to stop appearing.
Anyone know how to fix this? If I remove that apk, will it stop my Google Play and other Google Apps from working?
Ok so having a small issue. I know it didn't happen on the first few days of the phone but got BetterBatteryStats to help solve the issue. Just 4 items causing the issue.

Google Music
Google Quick Search
Google Gmail

Well after a bit of digging, think its related to the SMS functions that is tied to Google Search application. I disabled the SMS functions for the google applications, hopefully that solves the issue. Hopefully that fixes the issue since I like using the application for new stories / quick updates from items it pulls from e-mail account and such. But if worst comes to worst I'll get rid of it and find something else.
And successful run last night only using 0.5%per hour. Way better than yesterday. So disabling SMS permissions for Google (search) and Playstore did the trick. Play Store Services you got to keep activated.
