Would the ASUS Padfone have a keyboard dock? ala transformer? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

May be im posting this in the wrong section.
so i just saw a video of a little hands on with of the ASUS Paadfone phone/tablet and it looks like it has connector holes at the bottom are just like the transformer prime and the OG transformer. For those of you that own either, lucky prime ownners......., im sure you notice how the tablets latch into the keyboard dock with the little hooks and the charger/connector right in the middle of the dock! Well the Padfone looks like it has a similar set up, actually it looks just like it. Could this be due to a keyboard dock?????? I would not be surprised if it does. In fact of ASUS doesn't then I soul be really disappointed.
What do you guys think????

NIce find...It think that it will fit the keyboard dock. Asus may release a dock made especially for the padfone.

I'm sure they will just like the prime

awesome! looks pretty nice, like a S2 but wider...
so its kinda in between an s2 and a tab 7" then? might have to invest now i sold my tab....
Cracking phone but wayyy too big for my liking, the size of the GS2 is perfect anything beyond that is just too big you may as well just buy a tablet.
I love this phone. Will buy it if the audio and yellow tint issue is not there on this one. I love the size as well as don't think it wont fit my pocket. Great combination of phone and tablet in one. And remember G2 itself is usually much more powerful than most of the tablets! If this phone has better audio, will definitely go for it.

How do you have your Note set up?

Hey all, I figured I would start this idea for a thread that we keep going, even though I don't have my Note yet.
Basically, let's make this thread a place to show off how you have your note set up. Post pictures of the cases you use, either with your note in it, or just the case if your Note is your only camera. Also, post screenshots of your homescreens, app drawer, etc. as you set up your own specific themes and whatnot.
When I get my Note, I will be using the following setup:
Case: Sena Ultraslim, White. $29.99 http://www.senacases.com/samsung-cases/galaxy-note/ultraslim/#

I will update mine with screenshots once I have my note.
I have a screen protector and black speck case(little bulky). Use a Bluetooth earpiece (jabra something...$80 or so) and looking at this right now...
Wp clock widget...power widget...ics search bar...scrollable news widget...
And rooted on stock kernel. Afraid to over clock right now. Gonna wait until we have solid cwm and when collective arrives I will most likely flash away...but I will prob rock current setup until then or until official ICS. I hope that its soon but not holding my breath.

Wisefinger - Reviews for use with the Note

Has anyone used the Wisefinger product and can share a review? I think this would work well with a shiny case like the SGP ultra or Speck. It can also do double duty as a stand. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this combo with the Note.

someone posted about this on another thread here today. still looks like a interesting idea. i don't want something extra hanging off the rear-end of my Note to add thickness to it. just makes it that much harder to put into my pocket.
That has to be a joke right? Reminds me of one of those products you'd see in a commercial for terrible inventions
Sent from my SGH-I717R using XDA App
I have one and its extremely akward and uncomfortable to use with the note. The swivel feature of the wise finger its too loose and i find that when reaching over to the other side of the phone one handed, the phone rotates 45 degrees and i have to correct it with the other hand. Ive tried placing it in multiple areas on the back of the phone and i have this problem all the time
It does work as a kickstand though. However, the added bulk and lack of functionality does.not justify every day use

[APP][KEYBOARD] Slice keyboard it will blow your mind

One of the biggest benefits of Android is, and always has been, the plethora of
available software keyboards. Don't like stock? No problem - there's something
out there that will make your typing experience suck less. But what works great
on phones may not be so hot on a large-screen devices like a tablets, so there's
basically a whole subset of keyboards - or at least keyboard layouts - in that arena.
Enter a newcomer to the tablet keyboard ring: Slice. This keyboard... well, it's insane.
Just watch.
Unique? Definitely. Brain-melting? Without question. Practical? You can be the judge
of that one. There's a demo version of Slice in the Store so you can give it a shot, and
the full version will set you back a five spot if you're ready to commit. If nothing else, you
can use it to play Space Invaders.

It will all depend on how well the spell check and word prediction is. Right now i've yet to find anything that can touch swiftkey.
I watched this couple of says ago, it would certainly screw with people's heads if nothing else.

Wow, and I thought I liked Swiftkey. Even though all the settings don't work in this beta version--don't like haptic feedback--I can't wait until it hits the regular market place. It has improved my personal typing speed and accuracy threefold.
This keyboard is probably the most accurate one I've come across. I can purposely miss every letter and come up with the word I wanted most times. Seems there is no way to add to the dictionary though. For instance, it doesn't know the word flu. No matter how accurate you type those three letters, you won't get flu to stay put. It'll change it every time! Surely there will be a way to teach this new words in the official release, right? For now, it's back to HTC's keyboard.
Don't suppose we could get a little more info could we, and maybe a screenshot?
