Hey guys I have used the stock "Notes" application during a meeting, making notes via the touch keyboard, and recording the meeting. I did this manually, without the pen.
Having come back to my office, I wanted to replay the audio to type a report.... there seems to be no audio recorded and I am now in sh!tstreet. Does anybody know where the audio file would be stored?
Regards

can anyone recomend a good piece of software for recording surounding sounds, and phone calls. notes seems to only record one side of calls. either or if there isn't one thing that will do both.
i tried a program called little snazzy drumer, but it seemed to disable windows media player permanently.
thanks
If you use the speaker, i expect it will record both sides of the conversation

I tried the vito software and it caused the same issue with WMP that the little snazzy drummer software did. Before install WMP worked fine. After install, opening, and making a few test recordings WMP would no longer initialise. Anyone have thoughts on this?
The resco software seems to be working fine.
but the speaker in PDA2K has a problem..
then how can i record calls?!!
please help..
You may also want to read http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=513&more=1 on this subject - it gives a nice overview of what you can expect from PPC PE devices and what applications there're to (even automatically) record phone calls.
Dears,
In my phone, I have an application for audio recording called Voice Notes. My problem with this app is that there is no way to store the recordings on my memory card rather than the internal memory, which is quickly filled up. I have a vague memory of another application included in the phone which might have dissapeared when I did a hard reset (it happened to other original programs). If so, where can I retrieve it? If there was no other voice recorder than Voice Notes, what third party audio recorder could you recommend?
Thank you!
I use Vito Audio Notes ver. 1.37.
For call recording see you here.
NOT two-way, but only record the OTHER SIDE?
Sometimes there are situations when I want to record the voice from the other side, and not my voice. Is this possible?
I've searched all the forum and found a lot about two-way recording but nothing like this. Can someone help?
Yea srry but that's not possible you can try and develop a cab from what they have from the two way calling it should be quite easy to.
Stupid question but i'll add it on here:
How do you even record a conversation 2 way? Do i need to install a special cab, or is it available on the phone untweaked?
guys when you get a cooked rom it has it installed extract it and start to devlop and add the feature.
oh i forgot to mention my phone model... it's htc hd2.
on hd2 you can record two-way by a simple registry tweak.
and for xperia x1 there is a modified driver that makes two-way recording possible.

Click to collapse
Get the ACR cab from my signature. 2-ways recording & enables saving to SD card.
Is it possible to automaticly record every call?

i use vito audio notes for this. it cuts in as soon as the other side answer (or you answer incoming) and you can reg tweak it to save wherever you like. Im sure other progs are just as good at it.
The key, if you are on a non-3.14 rom is to make sure you apply the two way calling reg tweak, else you only get your side.
Thanks. Meanwhile I found another tool called Auto Phone Call Recorder. But I should give Vito audio notes a try since there're some more interesting options (like VAS)
where is VITO Audio Notes........... ?
tried typing it into google?
Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong category.
What I want to achieve is:
1. To stream audio (MP3s, calls) from my phone to my car stereo
2. To do this, and other functions of my phone, without taking the phone out of my pocket at all.
I'm going to be buying a Galaxy S5 in the very near future, and also my car stereo is knackered, so I thought now is a good time to shake things up. What I was thinking of was to get a new car stereo that has Bluetooth, and then use an NFC tag stuck on to the seat of my car, and the Trigger app, that when connected will turn on Bluetooth on my phone, and turn on voice commands.
First of all, what can one do with voice commands these days? I currently have a Galaxy S2, and with that one, it's not very much. What I'll want to do is call people, amswer the phone when people call me, write SMS/Whatsapp messages, and have them read out to me, set calendar entries and reminders, play music by going through my music library and reading it out to me.
Is this all possible in Android, or will I need a 3rd party app? To complicate things further, is it possible to replace current commands with other ones, where I would record them into the phone? The reason I ask is because my first language is Welsh. This also means that most my text messages will be in Welsh, so I will need to be able to write them in letter-by-letter, and also have them read out to me letter-by-letter. Possible?
Secondly, what sort of car stereo should I get for this? One with Bluetooth of course, but what other features should I look out for that I might need? Or should I go for a Parrot system?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi guys, first time posting here. And sorry in advance, English is not my native language.
I’d like to know if there is a way to send audio files as audio messages on whatsapp.
I like to send long audio messages to friends and family, but I’d like to find a way to record them first and then send them, without sending it as that yellow audio file.
Like on this Christmas that I wanted to pre-record personalized audio messages, but decided not too because sending them as that yellow audio file would make it look like I made the same message for a lot of people. It would not look nice.
Is there a “microphone simulator”, and add, or anything that would enable that? It doesn’t have to be on my android, I could use it on the PC (whatsapp web).
