I'm looking for a script or something like turbo booster for my stock rom.
I like the stock rom and don't want modify with new kernel like cfroot or similar or install custom roms.

When I was on stock ROM, I used turboboost. Worked great for me. Don't know about you. But, I am not responsible if you brick your ace. Just a suggestion. I used stock with turboboost for 1 month and I didnt have any problem

Since i had my other phone stolen, i want to tighten up the security on my new ace. and basicly i've found a slight flaw in the Android OS. You can access the power options while still in the lockscreen.
My question is. How to disable the power options while the phone is locked. Thanks in advance!

yes, but what i'm asking it for is to stop someone who does decides to pick it up from turning the device off at all. If they don't know the password, then they're not gonna be able to turn it off...
which then goes to another point.. "why not just remove the battery...?" - thinking bout superglue to stop the battery being messed with and prevent the sim from being removed
This is the one question to all u guys out there..............Which according to you is the best kernel for Galaxy Ace
1) KETUT
2) KOLJA ( as according to official release )
3) AOSP ZIMAGE MOD 1.5
Considering Battery, Performance etc
Use all three and pick the one suites you best

I'm trying to install Adrenaline Engine on my Samsung Galaxy GT-S5839i but I need a Kernel that supports init.d.
I'm new on this Android thing so I'm wondering if you guys can advise me one good kernel.
I tried to install Adrenaline Engine either way and it installed fine but I didn't get this results ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26913796&postcount=350 ) , so I guess it installed but isn't working.
By the way is this the best way to tweak my phone?

Just look in the Developement Section, there you can get a kernel. Then flash the script again and it should work.
BTW, don't flash a kernel/rom/theme which is for s5830. s5830 is NOT s5830i.

I think i already flashed a kernel for s5830 by mistake but i didn't notice anything. All those kernels i've found have some bugs, is this one any good? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818830
By the way when i install Adrenaline Engine and try it (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26913796&postcount=350) I get "grep : not found" on terminal emulator :s

If you want to find a good ROM, there are a massive collection of them in the development section. Take a backup and try them. There isn't a best ROM. There are no Jelly Bean ROMs and ICS is in development.

Here it is BASE ROM v3
You can use it for making custom Rom but after making and publishing it just don't forget to give me little credit .
