I have that same issue. I had that issue when Sentinel 3 was $0.10 - I think a trillion people downloaded the app, but they only got probably 2 servers allowing downloads of content. Wait a couple of days and I am sure it will clear up and you can then download.
I've never been able to download game content for ANY EA games. I was able to download on other devices, then transfer the files over to make them work before, but not any more...

This is what I ended up doing. Big inconvenience IMO.

Follow up, it never actually let me download the content either.
Seems odd that so many are having problems with it on the View/Flyer. I've had it on my View since the HC update was released. There was no problem installing from a previous purchase and downloading the data at that time, and it plays great. Maybe the servers are just slammed like TidBit said.
Would it be against the XDA rules if someone who's got it working on the View/Flyer were to post a zip of the sdcard/madden12 directory somewhere so people having problems can download the content that way ?

I want to also point out that I bought a copy of Sims 3 (also EA) during the 10 cent sale, and it failed to download that game as well (in both Gingerbread and Honeycomb).
It's amusing to me that countless people are complaining about this download issue on the web (and on the reviews), and countless people have apparently e-mailed EA, all to deaf ears.
me too. Just sits there not loading. I was able to get it on my phone. Some I copied the Madden folder from my phone to my Flyer. It didn't work.

This is really strange to me, and starting to become a huge annoyance... All the EA games I've bought (about $30 worth, which is alot to spend on apps PLUS I was working then, and am not now, so it seems like more) worked just fine after x-ferring files manually when I was running Globatron's UK HC leak. I don't understand what could be SO different on the official US version, and why a US company won't develop for it... Makes no sense to me...

I'd say that's a bad idea, as those files are copyrighted material. I see that your intent is for legit purchasers to just get the game to work. But the material may be seen by EA as being used in other ways.
Can you explain more? I must have done something wrong.

I agree, that's a dangerous move (publicly) but it WOULD be nice to compare the files that do and do not work, side by side...

Anyone try this on CM7 yet? Does it require a Tegra 2 setup or merely recommend it like Dungeon Defenders? If you know, please enlighten us all! It looks like a game worth playing.

let us know, that game looks sick
Unfortunately, I can't purchase it even temporarily to test it. Both my devices don't show it in the market and market.android.com says it's incompatible. Since it's commercial unless I can purchase it that's it folks. No, I won't request the APK from a XOOM user or the like if anyone is curious.

It looks awesome and I hope someone develops a way to run this with Chainfire cuz I'm not smart enough to do it myself
Tegra2 specific games are REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME THE **** OFF.
There's NO GOOD GODDAMNED REASON for these games to not run on any other chipset except for nVidia's $$$s. It makes me ashamed to have an nVidia GPU in my PC.

From the reviews in the market,
On the launch day few people where complaining that there download is not going any further than 25%, (the Game downloads around 250MB of content).
I am assuming for this they issued an update (without any changelog) which solved the download problem but made the guns and enemies transparent.
To solve this transparent problem some in the reviews suggested that we should uninstall and re-install the game. But so far there is no update from Madfinger to fix this.
Since i was able to download i didn't update the game.
Overall this game is a must try and i really like how intuitive is there onscreen control

Pay what you want for Osmos, Anomaly, and Edge. If you pay over the average which I believe is $5.65 you get World of Goo as well.
This is an awesome deal and it benefits a couple of charities as well.
These are direct downloads not through the android market.
http://www.humblebundle.com/
how would updates work if they are just sending you the apk?
do they provide updated apk's?
just curious as i haven't used it before.
EDIT: looks like they do provide an update.
hmm, i might just do this!
Done, I've been supporting the Humble Indie bundle for a couple of years now. Love it.
Btw you get both the regular version of osmos as well as the HD version for tablets.
I loved Osmos on my macbook when it first released, but it just works so beautifully on a touchscreen.
Such a wonderful game.
I got it just for Osmos HD. It's awesome on the Prime. Thanks again!
Best net speed Cheacker
which the best site to check our Internet speed.
Just bought from Humble Bundle for the 1st time and will be doing so in the future without a doubt; its a really cool/creative concept to get people to donate to help charities and devs. Anomaly looks pretty sick, though I haven't tried it out yet, but I found out after donating, though it says mobile version, when I downloaded Anomaly to my Prime it was the HD version for tablet.
Just a note for people looking but unsure as to how it works. When you purchase on the website it not only gives you a web link for the apks but also all the games can be downloaded on to any pc os. So your basically getting 8 games at what ever price you want to pay

not automatic, but they state that they will provide updated apk's on their site.
does anyone have weird freezes with anomaly HD?
it plays for a bit and then the screen freezes and shakes, but the game still runs underneath.
gonna try to wipe and reload as shadowgun is also giving me the same issue.
edit: so a wipe fixed it, i swear, gamestop does something to screw up these tablets, the first one i had from them also worked much better after a wipe.
Even if they arnt compatible im still very happy i got this. Didnt realise they were doing the android versions on the bundle! Bought one before, but this was early days. Always supported this as its a brilliant way to promote Indie games, yet at the same time raising money for charity.
Thanks for sharing
For those wondering about getting future updates, it appears that they are developing an android app that could notify you of updates and make the process simple (app market-esque?).

Not sure how many of you have seen this on XDA today, but Google has started limiting you to four device deathorizations per year for Google Music. Normally, not such a big deal, but when you flash a ROM twice a week and have to authorize your phone that often, you will be unable to activate Google music on new ROMs until next year.
Here's the main thread in the Gnex forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26145534
And here's a petition they started about halfway through the thread: http://www.change.org/petitions/google-remove-google-play-music-deauthorization-limit
I'll probably post this over in the Incredible forums, too. I'd hate to have to switch to Amazon's cloud service over something this stupid.
signed the petition and this is the dumbest thing i have seen in a while. i hope they change their mind on this.
as of now i only have 3 authorized devices. my home HP PC, my nook color and my Rezound. i have only had to de-authorize once so far and it was when i still had my DX. so it looks as though it doesn't count as an activation when you upgrade your current roms, just maybe when you completely swith to another rom. I am on CR 4.5 and have updated it probably 3-4 times already.

I do this with my amazon account to keep from increasing the number of devices. Works fine for amazon mp3 and amazon app store.
Though I don't think amazon has a limit on how many deauthorizations.
Stopped using google music when at first you couldn't use but 1 google acct since wife and I have different. Would have had to upload all music twice. Amazon didn't have this problem.
I always had the issue with too many devices so now I just restore my app+data and seems to work fine. I haven't had any issues with needing to deauthorize accounts for quite awhile now because I've been restoring data.

This isn't a true statement. Adobe said they will not certify Android 4.1 as Flash compatible, and therefore won't provide support for issues specifically related to users running Flash on an unsupported OS. You should still be able to use it for as long as Flash remains relevant.
Adobe said they are also pulling Flash out of the Play Store (for all versions of Android), however if you already have Flash installed, it will continue to get security updates, etc.
Mobile Flash is dead. Adobe killed it. Holding on to older technologies instead of moving on to newer tech will just make it that much hard when you have no other option except to adopt the newer technologies.
What pisses me off is that I'm sure Apple and Nazi Jobs will get credit for such an end to Flash, when in reality, the end of Flash and the start of HTML5 was always coming, even when there was a Flash vs. Apple war. Adobe knew this. Smart technies knew this. But people, especially the idiots writing articles on CNET and Engadget, will credit Apple with another win. Uhm, no, this was always inevitable, even if Apple prematurely decided against Flash, in a bitter retort from their dictator CEO.

You get angry too easily, and over things that aren't very important.
As far as Apple getting the credit for killing Flash, maybe there were a lot of factors that lead to the end of the platform however credit where credit is due, Apple was the first company to step and and say "No, we don't need this anymore." Whether that is true or not is not important. As often happens Apple saw how technology was evolving and helped push the adoption of the newer technology that will replace the old. How many people would be coding their sites in HTML 5, and making HTML 5 & javascript based media if the iPad had supported Flash?
There is no question that the millions of users viewing websites via the Flash-free iPad and iPhone was a huge motivator to push web developers away from plug-ins and more towards open technology standards.

I respectfully disagree. Apple's premature decision was felt across the tech industry, especially by Apple users. There was a huge following that still wanted Flash and that's why SkyFire and other work-arounds became so popular after the decision. Flash was going to go away, everyone knew that. It was coming in a few years. Well, a few years is here already. And now everyone wants to say that Apple "stepped up" and drove Flash out. Uhm, no. Again, we knew this was coming. HTML5 was only a few years out from a basic maturity. And knowing this back then and watching it happen only allows for the conclusion that Jobs was a brat.
Not premature? Take a look at HTML example videos on YouTube from a couple years ago and try and tell me that they aren't a witnessing of the digital equivalent of a developmental disability.

Flash doesn't slow down the browser. Especially with regard to ICS on the TFP. The browser is just slow in general.
