[Q] Bootloop, can't reach recovery - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Hi, I have a problem with my ace. I have official stock rom 2.3.3, yesterday when phone was on charger, he began to turn off, agin and again. when I attempt to start standard recovery mode to wipe factory reset, before I did that, phone started bootloop continuosly, it can't even reach recovery menu. I tried to flash with Odin, stock rom and others, didn't work, odin show pass but when restarted, he did bootloop again. Is there any help or service? May I flash stock rom now, because of warranty?

enter recovery mode
wipe davik cache
factory reset
clear cache
and flash with Odin

I have ever experienced it too... What i did was removing my SD card and SIM card, and then wipe dalvik cache and cache via Recovery before factory resetting it and then flash the stock ROM with ODIN.
If it still wont work, then its probably because of the ROM file.. maybe its corrupt, try redownloading it.

Flash a stock ROM without root and go for the warranty. Sounds like it's f***ed

I can't enter into recovery, phone restars before that and can't reach recovery mode.

Can you go to download mode? Then flash full package stock ROM.

Try to keep holding Power+Home button, it sometimes restart before coming to Recovery mode... so just keep doing it

I've tried to flash full stock, without results.

and i started emergency dload mode (arm9) mode. what is this?

hold power + home + volume down it should go into download mode... then you can flash stock rom with odin

Done, several times with different ROM-s, didn't work. Service is only solution I guess.

Give us more details on what you have done exactly before you flash the rom.
And details about which rom.
One solution would be to flash stock.
Go in download mode with 3 buttons combo(volume down-power and home button) open odin, put as pda the stock rom as a tar and hit start.
Note: Be sure kies tray agent is not running in the background you have to kill the process with task manager
I also have this issue, after using a CM9 rom then rolling back to stock rom I have downloaded the stock rom, not sure if its 100 match for my phone but its stuck at samsung logo its 1 day old, please help?
Thanks
get into download mode and try flash again.
Right, I can go back to custom rom, but stock rom wont boot, any suggestions?
please try to elaborate the exact steps that you have done to get to that situation.
if you are now flashing back to stock rom. try this, flash stock firmware using odin, once done dont reboot. straigth boot into recovery mode, and wipe data factory reset. then boot.
ive got the same problem. i installed cyanogenmod 10 on and it worked fine but couldnt get to wipe the internal sd card so still had stuff from past roms on. I thought if i flash back to stock then it would clear it all then i could reflash back to cyanogen 10.
i flashed the stock in odin and it wont go past the samsung logo. cant get into the recovery mode to wipe cache as it just resets back to boot screen and cant use the samsung toolkit as i cant get into usb debugging mode as cant get it to boot
any help really appreciated

I had this issue before. Phone is stuck at samsung logo. I reflashed stock lfb firmware and cf root. Cleared data/cache/dalvik. Then it worked fine.
If every recovery method fails then only resort is to visit service center, go there and act dumb and state phone went crazy and this happened out of no where. If they wont find out that you've f***ked it up then you will get mo-board replacement.
Flash stock LFB from samfirmware.com through Odin.
Then flash Siyahkernel (also through Odin)
Pull the battery for 5 minutes
Press and hold vol-up + home buton
Press power button until screen lights up
You should be in cwm now. Factoryreset your phone and it should startup again
If you don't want to loose your data, instead of factory reset you can try using adb shell and run e2fsck on the block device for /data
Corrupt ext-Partitions are usually the reason for a softbrick

I encountered the same problem. I almost fainted when I can't solve the problem. Finally I did. this is what I did:
1. download the Stock Rom (depends which country and carrier you are) Unzip the downloaded file and you should have .md5 file that you will later use.
2. download ODIN
3. Launch ODIN click on "PDA button" select the .md5 that you extracted (the file you downloaded and unzipped) and click start and wait until it finished (hopefully this will solve your problem but in my case ... the samsung logo still is stucked so continue with my next steps)
4. download the CF Root from
note: this will install the CWM or recovery mode for your phone that will give you several options ...
5. use ODIN again and click PDA button and select the CF Root that you have downloaded and click on start until it finished.
6. boot to Recovery mode by holding "volume up (yes volume up and not volume down)" and "power" and "home button" all at the same time until recovery mode reappears.
7. go to advanced and remove dalvik cache, do a wipe out or factory reset, wait for your phone to restart ... wait a minute or two and your phone is back to normal.
Ignore

Player 4 boot loop

My galaxy player 4 wouldn't boot, stuck in download mode. So, I installed Klins kernel and EtherealROM, it seems to be stuck in a boot loop. I cleared both caches to no avail- I have no idea what to do now
to get out of download mode, hold down the power button until it restarts. Go into recovery mode, wipe data, and cache. Then flash a ROM that u know works. And see what happened to the ROM you tried to flash with. Prob redownload the ROM you wanted, and try agian.

Thanls
I had to use my other computer (Kubuntu), but I got it restored to stock, then I put Klins R3 kernel on it. I then flashed IcyFusion on it- it seems to work!

Tried my first Rom flash now boot looping

I had 4.0 installed and rooted for a little while now.
So I wanted to install CM10 so I followed this guide http://rootgalaxynote.com/galaxy-note-i717-roms/cm10-jelly-bean-rom-for-att-galaxy-note-sgh-i717/
I just backed up everything in CWM then install TWRP since he said you might need it, I backed up in TWRP and then I flashed cm-10-20121006-UNOFFICIAL-quincyatt.zip in TWRP restarted and now its Looping the boot animation for CyanogenMod.
I read in the thread a lot of people are having this problem but no one is giving a clear fix for it.
I can get Odin Mode by holding power and volume down, but I am not sure what to do from here?
Try booting into recovery mode (hold volume down and up then hold power) and restore your backup before doing anything with odin
Shouldn't be a problem if you wipe before flashing

I would ....yes
Then....you must "always " wipe caches, data , system before flashing a
New build....otherwise you'll get loops and data corruption...g
Are you sure its looping? I've had some ROMs take like ten minutes to boot. As long as you can get to recovery or download mode you can work your way back read the super thread really well and go slow good luck

When I stepped up to the 4.2 ROM I did the usual wipe and got the boot loop too.
Update to TWRP 2.4
Wipe caches
Factory reset
Flash ROM, let it settle in for a few hours, don't install anything.
Flash gapps and set up your apps
I got the 10 minute boot (I don't wait well ),anyway I went back to recovery /twrp re-wiped installed again and now on (no 2/flapps. Nightly) ,Go where ya want but I would advise against rootgalaxy for future use ,stick with xda ,tons to learn right here

I9300 looping at samsung logo/unable to go into recovery mode

Hi guys,
I've really tried looking and I really cannot find a fix, thus this has forced me to come out of lurking and posting a thread to seek for help.
I wanted to flash back to a stock rom from my cyanogenmod10 to claim warranty for a broken digitalizer (touch screen completely not working), so my mistake was to flash via odin without wiping cache memory/factory reset and I forgot to use triangle away. (thought that i should have done that when I'm on stock rom)
so now my phone is unable to boot into home, it is stuck at the samsung logo, I can go into download mode but i have no way to get into recovery. (Holding the up vol + home + power just resets kinda restarts the phone)
Also, it seems like no matter how long I charge the phone, the battery level won't go above 10% on the standby mode charging screen.)
Anyone help ?
End of the day I really just need to get the flash counter back to zero without using the in-phone app to claim for warranty.
reflash the stock rom. if you do everything correctly, you would be able to access recovery

I've done that at least 3 times... using odin3 v3.07 flashed with I9300XXEMA2_I9300OLBEMA1_I9300DXELK1_HOME.tar.md5 selected only F.reset and auto restart, flashed using PDA.
The Odin tells me that flashing was a success but I'm still stuck, the last time i had this problem i settled it via clearing cache, but this time i cannot go into recovery mode anymore.

Put back and go to recovery mode.
Then wipe data / factory reset.
Reboot.

I hope there is someone here that can help me though
Main concerns,
1) Reset Flash counter with computer.
2) Wipe Cache/factory reset function without going into recovery mode.
Take out battery, put it back in, press the three button Recovery combo and let go when you see the Samsung SIII screen. If you keep it pressed, it'll loop.
Do a factory reset then restart the phone.
Connect a mouse through an OTG cable and install TriangleAway to reset the counter.
Boot into recovery and factory reset. Should do the trick.
Good luck!

Same problem. No help,

Hardbricked my S2. HELP!!!

Here is my case.
Was on 4.4.4 SlimSaber with TWRP recovery..
So, i intended to change back to stock rom. Downloaded the stock firmware from sammobile
After that, I used ODIN 3.10 to flash the stock firmware. Everything goes smoothly. But, after the process completed, I have bootloop in the Samsung logo.
Tried removing the battery and replaced it.. still the same.
Now I cant enter the Download and Recovery mode. My PC still detects my device, ODIN still show blue sign when I plugged it in
Any advice for me to recover it?
