Recently moved to a new baseband, tell me what is the most stable, productive rom is currently for B20(new baseband)? Cyanogen now has many bugs .... Can't decide what to choose..(( Or go back to the stable Mic's build with the old baseband ...
What can you recommend me?

*sigh*
another one.
Just make a backup and test. I would choose CM, even when it has a few bugs.
I installed the new Cyanogen but it is impossible to put the frequency of 729 .... My phone crashes on the greater frequency and to a lesser games do not work as fast and phone the same way. So it is not very good for me now.
Use n2 version

I think that new baseband don't gives anything new..
using stock froyo so far
I don't care the baseband in use, In the moment I only want a stable rom, 2.3 with bare essencials and made from official ROM, not from CM.
Cyanogen Team is great but i miss somethings that original ROMs have (ex: making a call with headphones and hear, divx codec from scratch...)

Am using new. With 2.3 upgrade. But I dont want it. I have no wifi calling and that is the most important feature for me! Is there any way to bring my O1 back to 2.2. Froyo?

I'm using new one because I have better signal then the old one, try using ur phone on elevetor with old baseband

I see no benefits in the new baseband so why spend time working on a feature that has no benefit at all.

any baseband will do ciaox because changing baseband is so easy, not a problem with me
Old froyo baseband is the best the official has lack of functions.

New, because of better signal, no random reboots.

can someone please advise:
my dad (yes, i am not an adult, just a high school student) has no intention of getting me a data plan with internet and text messaging. just plain calling. pretty much i can go either way with the baseband right? i can still make calls as long as i apply mik's patch right? the better signal is appealing to me a lot.
sorry for the question (no one rage please ). i know that it is everywhere in the forum but i want to hear from another user rather than just the instructions
of course old baseband

yep, you are right, you can just use new baseband and apply mik's patch. I prefer also the new baseband due to better signal=better battery.
Old baseband one it works well and on top of that the only worth while ROM in the new baseband is yours open Optimus

stilll on stock froyo??the latest gingerbread ones with old baesband give upto 3x terrifying mind blowing performances!!and the roms based on new baseband dont work good with tweaks like ungaze data2sd(as far as i know) so i always prefer cm7 based old baseband roms
i have new baseband. I want to have old one, but after i bricked my phone doing old baseband stuff (i though im going to get oficial 2.2 ) i dont want to downgrade.....

It's a little lower than the most ROMs but it can hold 2-3 days, depends how you use it. And i can't relly tell you cuz i am using my phone A LOT (games, testing apps, wi-fi) so its always on performance 787Mhz and for me at the end of the day its like on 20-30%
best
CYANOGEN MOD 9 it actually makes my friends jealous
Perfectpeso 2.2 because its rly very fast and smoth.
LEWA, cuz I don't really care about performance. Only looks is what matters to me. I tried to go to other rom after using it but all other ROMs looks kinda not so good. Tried using cm9 but waiting for stable version. And waiting a battery fix for MIUI also.
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA
Oxygen 2.6 and #void forever. Yes, #void it might be old, but is great.
Both ROMS are fast and almost bugfree.
Also, I like OpenOptimus, not so fast, but very stable and without bugs at all.

CM9 is currently under development, although it almost has no major issues (only camera) it's still better to use cm7 as of now. Kabayan! ^.^

Has evil_penguin said for the moment cm9 is on development but the port made by Maclaw and his team are really stable (some force close of course sometime but it's a beta so it's normal ). For me the big different for the moment between cm7 and cm9 it's just the camera who does not work for the moment in cm9. But if you want more details just go here===>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1490867. Hope i help you
*Sorry for my imperfect english
hmm...
cm9 available?
For me, cm7 is stable because for example camera and radio works (in cm9 currently don't work). But i think cm9 looks better. if you don't use camera and radio, install cm9.

For my part it's cm9 beta5 from Maclaw and his team but i don't really understand what is "better" for you if it's the stabilty and all fonctionnality work so it's cm7 but cm9 look really great but still in beta so it's sure it will be less stable and some function are missing (camera is the big one for the moment). It's all about how you use your phone if you use a lot your camera if you want to have a smooth surf on the net...etc. I use cm9 and i'm really happy with it just wait a little and cm9 will have all the functionality work
*Sorry for my imperfect english
Maclaw's CM9 is smoother than GB and CM7.... Only Camera is the main problem!
The performance of CM9 forced me to use it... Lol

I'm using CM7 atm, I like it. It's clean and fast.
CM9 is one of the most desirable roms now a days as it is ice creams sandwitch. but the main issue right now is the camera and it is still in the development stage(Beta). So, if you can manage w/o using your camera on your phone you can go for CM9 other wise CM7
how about radio in the CM9 ?
I'm not fond of cm9 as its lack of compatibility. Bleeding edge rom

Right..certain apps are not compatible with ICS. But gradually they will be....with time.Happens with every new OS upgrade.
+1 for CM9..i'm using it now. beta 6 is very smooth with 4.0.4 version.
now just waiting for camera fix and 3.x kernel
go for the CM7 coz its more stable and everthing i mean everthing works like charm , while CM9 still in devolopedment and there are some issues and might not be good for daily use
Stable? Go for CM7.
Forget CM9. Forget it. At least for now

I'm due for upgrade from my ol' x10 soon. I love the sgs2 but it's very important that there's a MIUI rom that's stable and functional like the one on my x10. I assume there's got to be a nice gb miui still available for download somewhere. I see there's a miui4 rom but does the camera/camcorder work? I'm so use to the gb version is the newer version 4 miui much better?

If you want something super stable then I'd go for a GB MIUI. There are a few different stable releases, including the official ones from MIUI.us, MIUI Scotland, and androidmiui.com . WIUI is also pretty stable from what I've experienced. RGUI is very stable except Bluetooth isn't functional....if you need that. Those are the GB ones above. For V4 (ICS), it's a little more shaky on stability but over the last month or so they've become a LOT more stable. cMIUI is pretty stable (based off AOKP), and I wouldn't really judge too many of the regular ones like the official build, since they're off of a Samsung build it's got a lot more issues but I'd say ktoonsez version is also very stable. Good luck finding your fit. If you're picky, try em all. If not, you can go by my suggestions.

You need to search. The Dev thread of the roms that your asking will hold the answers that you are looking for.

Well, there is a stable version of CM9, and a nightly after that stable version with a few more fixes I believe. Otherwise, try resurrection remix, slim ics, etc.

All three are fine. CM10, being based on Jellybean is the newest, with really few bugs (which will hopefully get fixed once Samsung released Jellybean for the S2). Try CM10, otherwise go back to CM9. Make sure to do a nandroid backup of CM9 before moving on, so that if you feel CM9 is better, you don't have to go through setting it up all again.
This thread is becoming more of a "what's the best ROM?" type which is discouraged. You need to check these things yourself as preferences differ from user to user and handset to handset.
