Friends, I have rooted my phone.. installed xrecovery... Installed wolf's gingerbread... First it was working ery fine.. But today again it is creating problems.. Carshed on a heavy use... What should i do.. I installed Stock wolf's gingerbread
Did you try factory reset in xRec? If it still hapends u must start from scratch (wipe everything & flash ROM)
Tried every thing.. On android 2.1 works fine.. But on 2.3 it is headache... I think it is a battery problem.. Bcoz when i reduces my screen brightness and decrease the video resolution and turn off flash light.. Video recording time increases.. What u think? Should i change my battery? if yes then which battery should i buy?

please, flash stock ROM, then with flashtool, make root, and xRecovery, flash baseband .58 (it's the better for me) and theflash wolf's ROm and then the v6 patch, that should work...
yea I feel your pain...did a whole fresh install with seus and reinstalled fresh market apps but still ended up with FCs for everything i pressed on. so I went back to freex10
re-flash offical 2.1 stock
hey try wiping battery stats a couple times in xrec, it should help a bit.
Hi guys. I got my X10 yesterday, but i got a few problems with it.
I used Miui but the battery drain was a bit to hard. So i switched to Wolfbreak-009. I want to install the undervolted DoomKernel-03-X too but if i do that the system stucks in the white Sony-Logo and reboots the whole time.
I have flashed like this:
Stock 2.1
Baseband-67
Wolfbreak-009
CustomKernelEnabler
bootloader_bypass_files_v04
Doom-03X
Doom-03XWifi
I think i have chouse the wrong order or anythink else?
after wolfbreak rom install free kernel 3.60 and forget all other you mentioned...
reboot phone....
phone off... enter xrecovery and flash with doom kernel
I will test it.
Thanks
So i tryed it. Flashing fresh Wolfrom-009->FreeKernel3.60->Reboot->Poweroff->DoomKernel0.3X->WLOD...
So this dosen't work ...
The undervolted 0.3X works perfekt on my last MIUI.
Okay well I have installed a ROM & it works etc. However I have this glitchy screen issue. The graphics etc are all pixelated almost like when your computer artifacts if you OC it to much. I havent touched ANY of the settings.. All I want to do is erase the rom & go back to the normal one.. Can anyone please tell me how to do this =X I need this done ASAP!
Ive tried erasing almost everything to no avail.. I dunno wtf to do =X I just got the phone yesterday, I hope there is something I can do to fix it =\
restore your original backed up rom from recovery (assuming you backed u r original rom before flasing custom rom)
Asumming u are using mik is cm7 rom for p500, that means u installed the WRONG ROM!

The search button on threads doesn't work for the moment. :l
My battery drains way too fast. Currently I am running Wolf's Tw gb on ul bootloader and doom kernel.
It doesn't drain that fast before. I used to listen to music without my battery going empty quickly, now it drains fast after every song even when the screen is turned off.
Should I just reset my phone back to normal?
Also some questions about resetting:
1. Does factory reset (on xRec) fully reset everything? Like my rom and my kernel, would it be reverted to the first time or would it remain the same?
2. Will factory resetting on the main settings itself also work? Would it reset my rom too?
I currently have no access to reset my phone through a computer (my pc crashed). Neither do I have access to add other roms on my memory card since there isn't a custom zip nor a backup of previous rom. (It's on my pc :l )
(Sorry if it takes time to read )

question number 1, i havent done that, but i think resetting ur phone using xRec would not make your phone reverted to its original, it just delete all your files and installed apps. just backup your important files...
question number 2, goes the same, your rom wont change, your still a Wolf's Tw gb subscriber XD...
Use Google Play GSam Battery Monitor and find out what's using all your battery.
Oh, ....and then refine or delete/uninstall the process.
Resetting ur phone wont make any change in battery life..
Maybe u installed some apps that make ur phone drain the battery faster..
And u can try to reset the battery stats (i havent seen any change after doing it.. But some other x10 users say it'll help)

If you don't install those auto-start apps (killing them won't help so don't try, u must root your device then stop them from auto-start apps using tuner apps)
I'm sure factory reset can increase your standby time but doesn't work if you keep screen on or making calls a lot (flashing stock Tom is better than factory reset if you installed Mods)
have luck!

1) Factory reset will retur you to the clear ROM (already installed on your phone) just erase configuration, email accounts configured, and everything which is related with accounts and user configurations only
2) Check answer of the first question
hello masters, I'm newbie here. I'm using Ultimate HD 3.0.2, yeah I know it fast and have a good battery life, it save my battery so well. but three days ago I got bootloop on my xperia ray device because I made a wrong metode to flash my kernel, then I install new Ultimate HD on my device like the first time I install it. all works fine, but the problem is my battery drained quickly like I'm using the stock ics . Just for unlocking from the locked screen it drains 1-2% of battery. I have follow right intsruction such as wipe data/factory reset, wipe dalvik cache, wipe battery stats, format /system, all changed but the battery life is not. can you tell me how to fix it? I think something's wrong in setting or script maybe. thanks before.
*see an attachment, my phone idle percentage is very low now
