hy
how root the lg optimus pro ?
need a guide thanks
1 º Download this suite of applications that I use (I added the zip original drivers from LG, which, with no specific model for this, worked like a charm):
www.megaupload.com/?d=U3L199Z3
2 Reset the phone manufactures (who have data to backup, use the File maneger Astro, for example), to obtain a clean file system Settings \ Privacy \ Reset factory data;
3 Extract the zip to a folder on your desktop and install the USB drivers, which are in the zip, the folder "USB driver";
4 Connect the phone to pc cable and expect drivers to be installed;
5 º Go to the pc start \ programs \ accessories \ command line;
6 After you open the command line type:
cd \
cd Users
cd (user name in question)
cd Desktop
cd (name of which are powered uncompressed zip files)
cd ADB
and the result is something like: C: \ Users \ (user name) \ Desktop \ Root Maximo LG Pro \ ADB
then enter the following commands:
adb devices (pressenter)
adb shell (press enter, and then the letter of the command line will pass to $)
echo 1> / data / local / lge_adb.conf (press enter)
7 After these commands inserted, turn off and then turn on the phone (very important this step), always with the phone connected by USB;
8 After restarting the phone, go to the folder where the files are downloaded and run the SuperOneClick.exe;
9 Select the method GingerBreak and click "ROOT"
10 When the process finishes (VERY IMPORTANT) make sure you turn off and turn it on again and update the application through the superuser Market.
That's it. Phone with root access.

Hi,
I've tried as you say, and i jammed on the driver installation. Why? On the pack you've posted, there's only a shortcut to the driver file: LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN32AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.2 - Atalho
and when clicking it its giving me a link to something that doesn't exist:
C:\Users\"username"\Desktop\LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN32AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.2.exe
Even so, i'd already had installed the LG software suite and so i've got the driver so i moved to the next steps.
when going to perform the adb shell command (error: device not found), i tried with mass storage mode on and off and msg is always the same.
can you please help me?
thanks for any answer
That guide is so complicated for n00b like me who has never before used Android. The stock rom is awfull anyway, any hope for costum roms on this one?
Hi!!
After running the adb command line and restart the mobile, i've started the super one click, it started rooting and in the end in step 7 he says "Remounting /system with read-write access .... FAILED", what went wrong?
I have the latest drivers for this smart and the latest super one click v.2.1.1
My LG has the 2.3.4 version of android and it's from TMN
Regards
is it possible to unlock it? (for free preferably)

Hi friends ,
I just cannot get rid of the issue with the 8 things I tried (see below). I need your help pls, it has taken me alot of time and still unsolve.
I am running on window7, 64bits. I am building the "hello world" program and follow the instruction from Andriod developer website. At first, everything went well including the installation. I even manage to run the program on my Samsung S5. However, in a while, I notice something is wrong after I edited the code, so I delete and re-install the SDK and ADT package, objective is to bring the code back to the same factory state. I had tried installing both version of 32bits and 64bits Eclipse package but encounter the following problem when i click RUN as Android application:
******************** Return the following txt: ************************
The connection to adb is down, and a severe error has occured.
You must restart adb and Eclipse.
Please ensure that adb is correctly located at 'D:\ADT\sdk\platform-tools\adb.exe' and can be executed.
**********************************************************************
I did the following troubleshooting:
1) Restart the computer and my phone (samsung S5)
2) Check that there is a connection icon on my PC (USB connected between phone and PC)
3) Update adb in the SDK using the SDK manager
4) Make sure i go to the "help-->Install new software" in the Eclipse and key in the dl-ssl weblink every time i re-install the Elipsce package.
5) Make sure I click "help-->check for update" in the Eclipse every time i re-install the Elipsce package.
6) Checked that I am the adminstrator of my PC
7) Run command at command prompt. I did the follwoing steps:
a. Close the Eclipse if running
b. Go to the Android SDK platform-tools directory in Command Prompt
c. type adb kill-server
************************* Return the following txt ************************
* server not running *
--> adb server is out of date. killing...
ADB server didn't ACK
* fail to start daemon *
**********************************************************************
d.then type adb start-server
Return the same txt as above.
8) I suspect some other process is occupying the port 5037 which the adb access. So I attempt to find the PID (process id) of the process which occupied the port 5037 by giving the command "D:\Android\sdk\platform-tools>netstat -aon|findstr 5037"
************************ Return the following txt *****************************
TCP 127.0.0.1:5037 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 3640
TCP 127.0.0.1:5037 127.0.0.1:50506 TIME_WAIT 0
TCP 127.0.0.1:5037 127.0.0.1:50507 TIME_WAIT 0
**********************************************************************
Then I go to PC Task Manager, but there is no PID with 3640.
I also type at command prompt the below:
tasklist /fi "pid eq m3640
************************* Return the following txt ************************
No task are running which match the specified criteria
**********************************************************************
Seems that the adb is not responding to any re-installation, or restarting of PC and device. The task manager shows PID 3640 but couldn't see any process related to it.
I am a electronics engineer and much a novice in this field of computer.
pls help
I am sorry that I know there are so many articles talking about
Drivers need to be installed for connected device.
You can find them in the drivers folder of Flashtool.
I have read so many articles but still cannot find out the problem.
I go to "Devices" of Flashtool and "Check Drivers"
It gave me this
01/004/2014 00:04:31 - INFO - List of connected devices (Device Id) :
01/004/2014 00:04:31 - INFO - - USB\VID_0FCE&PID_51AF\CB5A1YAHWN Driver installed : true

And I could not unlock bootloader.
I have ticked the USB Debug yet my Z2 is not rooted yet.
Do I have to root it first?
May someone guide me how to unlock because I cannot finish it using the official way
It always keeps telling me "Waiting for device"
Thank you so much!
http://www.theandroidsoul.com/unlock-bootloader-on-sony-xperia-z2/
I followed this website.
Using method 1, I could not achieve step 4
Using method 2, when I type fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version
noting happened, it seemed to be saying "cannot find 0x0fce" or somthing else
I don't know why it keeps telling me no driver installed
I go to Device Manager of Windows and it shows it has the updated driver installed in the PC
I am using Win 8.1

This thread will help alot
Press windowsKey + R
type/paste
Code:
shutdown -o -r -t 0
into the box, this will restart your machine in the advanced startup menu.
when it restarts choose "disable driver signing" Then install the driver manually using the "have disk" option. when you reboot again the driver should be working.
-------------------
I followed what it said but when is "when it restarts choose "disable driver signing" Then install the driver manually using the "have disk" option. "???
I could not find disable driver signing.
After entering the shutdown command, what button should I press? Thank you for replying! I wish I will be able to flash rom today
Not sure what to do then because i ran into the same issue but i just used a linux OS as a work around
Thanks for answering
I will try using Win Vista
I hope someone could teach me
After connecting the phone via usb cable, "adb devices" command lists :
$ adb devices
List of devices attached
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
FA3BSWG00401 offline
1) First time it asked whether to trust this computer and I checked 'always trust this computer'. Is there a way to untrust a specific computer / make it ask again ?
2) plugging the cable to my older SGS3 works fine :
$ adb devices
List of devices attached
4df1d4650790afdf device
Has anybody encountered this before ?
Additional info :
$ adb version
Android Debug Bridge version 1.0.32

I'm using Linux Mint 17.2, NuSense 6 (Lolipop)

It should need your all private information and others, therefore, you must keep following XDA forum.
Just dial *#0808#
and now, when my USB is plugged into the laptop, I actually get the “select MTP/PTP” menu.
