Hello all,
I was trying to install the Microbes Live Wallpaper but was getting an error and was wondering if anyone was able to install it on their Prime or know if it's even supported on ICS.
Many thanks.

no, it isn't, but if one is going to give a snarky comment, they should at least make sure the link is valid instead of just searching and putting up whatever shows up.
Or if you don't have a prime quit posting .apk files that don't work. The galaxy nexus live wallpapers don't run on the prime.......

I own it from that exact original link so assumed it was still a viable link. I was going to zip it & put it in my Dropbox but now... i'll pass just so you can't have it from me even though you already got it thanks to the work of someone else.
Everyone should just chill out no need to fight because of a dead link
Does it work for Prime?
no it does not work, force closes everytime.

Works on mine. DL from the link given on page 1 I like
So this looks good even though I assume it was designed for the Nexus S which is 800x480? I'll give it a go I guess.
Thanks everyone. The only reason I asked is because they said their version worked and I wanted to see if we were downloading the same file or different ones.
will someone with a canadian note please pm me their device id, or use the apk downloader to grab the rbc mobile app. please. after using 4.0.3 update my phone is now recognized as american and i cannot download this app. this is for canadian users that have not updated their phones. thanks a lot.
Good evening mrpulla.
As requested, please find attached the RBC Mobile app. I'm assuming you were looking for the Royal Bank app. This is what I was able to extract via adb for this app since Astro would not allow me to pull the app via backup (it was marked as private). Hopefully this helps you! Let me know if I can be of further assistance. All the best!
I'm desperate to find this app as.well unfortunately ur files are missing the apk file so it didn't work
This thread is old, so you may have found it by now, but I just thought I'd be helpful, as I stumbled upon this looking for the RBC apk myself. Ended up flashing an older ROM I knew it worked on and pulling it from there. Tried it on the new ROM it wasn't working on and it installed fine. Not sure if it matters but it was on an Asus Transformer, so I'm not sure if the app would be different? Worth trying at least

Thank you. This worked for my nexus 7. Stock rom, rooted. Some reason it says in the marketplace my device is not compatible.
Quick Google search brought me here as usual. For a quick fix.
Thanks again!

Hey guttertrash,
By any chance would you have the latest RBC 1.3 APK. The old one does not work any longer. Do post it here in case you can get your hands on it.
Thanks in advance

I don't know if anyone is working on it yet, but has anyone looked at making all apps available for multiview like they have in the link below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1995697
I downloaded the odexed file and there are only two files. services.odex and FlashBarService.apk .... unfortunately I'm not sure what either of those files do so I haven't replaced them on my phone yet to give them a try.
Can anyone give some insight on whether they think that the international versions files (just those two) would be similar to ours?
Just hoping to get some brain storming going to see if this can be figured out.

I don't know for sure that they won't work, I'm not brave enough to risk it either, but from a lot of the discussion i've read on rooting the phone, the international version is more different from the Verizon version than it looks like on the surface. I'm sure whatever edits need to be made to give our devices this ability are very similar, just unlikely to be exact, but that's just a semi-educated guess really.
As for whether or not it's being worked on? Absolutely. I know beanstown106 is working on adding that and I've read posts from other people tinkering with those files as well trying to add that functionality. Considering several developers have been working on it, but nothing is released yet, I'd say it's safe to assume the international versions do not work on the Verizon version. The development discussion would be pointless if it did, and these are pretty smart guys who I'm sure thought of that already.
I know it would be a long shot that those files would work in our device, maybe we can look into the files to see what was changed and make those changes on our system.
Just read the rest of your post... if others are working on it then this thread can be deleted if it's pointless.
Just very excited for this feature.

Hey guys i have recently rooted my samsung galaxy Tab 2, i thought it worked fine i followed the steps i was given perfectly and i had super user, problem was superuser was not giving permissions for an apps. I tried using game GameCih and it just gave me an error saying that i was not rooted. I thought it was superuser giving me this issue, i followed lots of ways to try to help it but none have worked.
I am about to unroot my device and re root it to see if it helps at all, but before i do has anyone else had this issue and do you know how to fix it?
Thank you

super user binary
hey man I think I might have had something like that happen to me to. you might do some research on superuser binary. I think there is a flash able zip that fixes the superuser for the gtab2 7.0. I know I had to do that when I was rooting mine. hope this helps you out. I put AOKP on my tab and its awesome! I love it. good luck.

No problem..I wish I could remember the name of the file...but I know there was an extra step to rooting the tab. I looked on my drive and saw one file called fixrecovery.zip and another called UPDATESuperSU v1.04.zip so look into it with those leads. I'm sure I needed those two files to properly root my tab. Good Luck man!!
Thanks!

Dude thats awesome! What ROM are you going to put on it? I've so far tried: CM, PA, AOKP, Tab2Lite (ir blaster works) and right at the moment I'm running slim...slim is pretty awesome I'm really diggin it. I wish there was a 4.2 AOSP style ROM that supports the IR function on my tab. I actually use it once in a while like when you can't find remote. I have the 3113. Just wanted to give you some ideas all those ROM's I mentioned all ran very well on mine. With my two favorites being AOKP, and Slim. Anyone know of a 4.2 rom that has IR support?? (Kind of a long shot)
Slim

I'm still on Slim now it is so freakin rad! Theres this widget viewpager that pulls your widgets up out of the navbar and you can scroll through them and interact with each one separately all the while the homescreen stays where its supposed to be so they are overlayed on top...know what I mean?? hmmm guess you have to see it for yourself. Kinda like a multi window experience.... kinda wow I suck at descriptions. O.K. I'll shut up now.
First of all, I am not sure that this is the right place to post, but I am new here so please move the topic if it is not the right place.
Secondly, English is not my native language so excuse any mistake I can make.
Thirdly, I am not an Android pro so I may use words for others, I hope you'll understand what I mean.
So, I was a bit stupid yesterday and followed a tutorial to root my Galaxy Player 5.8, tutorial that didn't apply to the Galaxy Player 5.8. Now, It is stuck on a screen showing a yellow triangle and an icon that surely means "connect the device to the PC". I can still use Odin. But What should I use Odin for ? Is there some working ROM or something somewhere that I can get on my device ? Even if that ROM is not rooted, I'd still like to be able to boot my Android instead of being stuck at that screen.
Thanks for reading and thanks for any help provided.
edit Nevermind, found what I wanted here: http://www.gsmkhmer.com/index.php?topic=8496.0 (remove spaces to get the link, I can't post links until 10 posts)
Now my Galaxy Player works like it used to work

I can't really tell, I never owned a 5.0
In fact this device is my first Android device, so of course I am really amazed by everything it does, even more now that it is rooted
It is rather big but I was used to carry calculators in my pockets so it fits pretty well
The only downside of the big screen is that if you only have one hand available, your thumb can't get everywhere on the screen
Other than that it is great

Yeah, that website is a bit weird, it was down right after I downloaded it, then was back, so maybe it was down when you checked but now it is back
To anwser the question, yes, I still have it (if my hard drive didn't fail while I was playing on my Android), but I don't know if

-It is legal here to attach it
Also, I have a new question now: How can I upgrade my Galaxy Player 5.8 to Android 4.2 ? I don't recall seeing any Cyanogenmod for this model

It is legal to attach it. But you can't because the file is too large. You can upload it somewhere like dropbox or google drive and post the link here with spaces in the link so all we have to do is get rid of the spaces.
As for 4.2, its probably the same story as every other galaxy player. Samsung doesnt want release it so we have to make it. Might have to do the same if you want it

But the "Then modify for your device" sounds tricky for me, except if you have a complete-noob-step-by-step tutorial

Indeed, I know nothing about computers and Android devices, I only interested myself to calculators until my parents accepted to buy me an Android
So yeah, I think I won't manage.
I am running Android 4.0.4, but I heard (or read) that 4.2 supports launching multi apps (don't know if that sentence makes sense, sorry, I am not a natvie English speaker) so I was very interested in that
