I Want The Default Lock Screen In The Stock Software

wifi not working with some routers (same problem as the ICS activated Rom), tested with marcneo2gz kernel and inteks v15, same results. Restoring stock one, i can't live without my own wifi XD.

Ok well it's stock so I will look into this thanks lads for testing

tried again with a solution for wifi discovered by an htcmania user. Deleting the wpa_suplicant.conf file and letting the rom create a new one solve the wifi problem.
But i did from adb shell at recovery cause root access is broken in the rom. su ask for permisions but superuser rights are'nt given in fact. Try it in a terminal emulator, ask for superuser (su command) the su binary ask for permision, check accept but the terminal command fails.
tried to gain su status instaling superuser.zip from recovery, downloading the superuser fixer, installyng busybox.xzip again... but nothing fix the problem.

Haven't deleted link coz am making just a patch for se_tweaked.
Build prop cam bla ....

well i know it has root its on my phon now

tried se-tweaked v8.5 (inteks kernel) ,im still playing with it so will report any bugs i find but for now
hardware button lights glow brighter than what stock rom does (didn't anyone noticed that )
brightness of the hardware buttons is same as stock rom's when screen brightness is set to low (as low as possible)
when screen brightness is as high as possible it glows like hell (almost equal to cm7.2.0 fxp rom's)
settings>display>brightness (not only controls screen brightness but also HW button lights brightness ,which is not the scenario in stock rom )
for those who want to disable hw buttons lights flash the setweaked backlight mod.zip from attachments
Root access FAILED (SUPERUSER LOG SHOW TITANIUM BACKUP DENIED)
flash Rootxperia.zip & now root is available and fully functional

Can you add this to the next version ? ^^ the whole 120 seconds thing is pointless.

read what they actualy say its not possable
only aosp or miui
unless you want to do it lol

Oh silly me,I thought since this is edited rom something like that can be done.On SE W810/W595 modding there were few small scripts(patches) were there for things like this.Forgive me !

That is kinda good news right, listen when installing apps you can install one by one(install one and check camera sound) and check which causes this problem and remove it

[Q] Xperia Neo V bootloop Problem

Hi..I have unlocked bootloader. I was previously on custom aosp ics based rom (4.0.3). Decided to go back to gingerbread (custom). Flashed night-elf kernel for stock rom v9.0 through fastboot. Installed rom through cwm. Rebooted the system. But it just stucks at the sony logo and reboots and the process goes on and on forever unless i pull out the battery.
Tried reflashing the kernel..no use! When i flash the kernel the phone reboots, the sonyericsson logo appears instead of sony. After that when i try to power on the device it gets stuck in the bootloop with "sony" logo rather than the sonyericsson logo. Help would be greatly appreciated!
Why double post?

ok ... I was earlier unable to boot into CWM (which I had installed via xparts) while the phone was boot looping ... I do not know why ...
I randomly flashed Suave kernel ... it was still boot looping but I was now able to enter CWM (comes with the kernel I guess - DoomLord's Full) ...
I restored an earlier backup I had taken ... and now it's working fine ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/icons/icon8.gif

Need help rooting

hi i just recently switched from an xperia x10 mini (mimi) to an XPERIA U ST25a
Android 2.3.7
firmware 6.0.B1.564
kernel 2.6.35.7+
I was palnning to update to android 4.0.4 but i was told not to since it get alot laggy.
can someone link me on how to root this device im not sure if its the same way i did
for my mimi.
and what do you suggest is the best kernel/rom for this device? (stable)
i honestly want to get the most of it. thanks for the help in advance.
I HAVE A PROBLEM WHEN TRYINT TO ROOT IT SAYS IM IN MTP MODE, and i dont know how to disable that seems like its by defautl
Just look in this section for an gbrocks and flash it it stock modified gb rom and work great and its also prerooted.
P.S. wrong section pal, it should be in Q/A section, and in future just use search button on this forum coz its been answerd a lot of times

First of all wrong section, you may put in the Q & A section,
Secondly there is no rating for custom kernels/ROMs, every development is best in its own unique way !
Use search for rooting methods

THANKS I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY ROOTED AND UNLOCKED MY PHONE
now im trying to install CWM but on that page it shows only CWM for ICS
im running ANDROIDN 2.3.7
i tried it and when i turn off phone i rapidly prass vol down and shows the blue green blue light but then it goes back to sony logo and starts normally
Now as you have unlocked your boot loader you can flash custom kernels, most of them have pre installed CWM.
Check for GB ROMs in the development forum.
Or CM9 ROMs are pretty smooth and simple, you may flash stock ICS (ftf file) and flash a CM9 ROM.
