For OC you need unlock bootloader too, then flash doom v9 or inteks v15 kernel and OC up to 2.0Ghz
Sent via MIUI 2.1.13

I suggest you no overclock it to 1.9...

yes me too i would suggest to overclock it to a MAXIMUM of 1.6ghz because overclocking it more than this is just a faster way to kill it

Thanks you all for your information !

Can i flash the inteks v15 kernel for your MIUI ROM too??

I don't think so. Better use Miui kernel.

[EDIT]
it seems that the old Kernelsource doesnt work well with act.GPU driver! i.e. Video playback only work with alternative player in Software mode.
i go back to Stock kernel for myself and wait for Beta sourcecode.
[EDIT2]
new sources and everything seems to work (i hope you like the new bootlogo )
[EDIT3]
new version with just subtle changes on bootlogo.
the smaratass2 gov seems not compatible with this kernel. if activated you become horrible lags!! so no smartass gov for now.
Great!!!!
Works fine Xperia neo 4.0.3 beta 4.1.C.0.7 bilds.
Thank you!
And yes animation is buggy.
Step1: Animation is off
Step2: Flash the kernel with fastboot
Good work!!!! Great!
First OC ICS kernel! And +50mb RAM.
Nice..

i dont know. i compiled yesterday but get horrible lags so i flashed stockkernel and tought by my self "lets wait for the 4.1.C.0.7 sources".
today i read that doomlord made a kernel for arc and has this lags too but he wrote its fixable by disable those animations.
so i gave my kernel a second try and he was right without animations it works
Boot for neo with battery 0% patch will be nice

What about the battery drain?
Anyone that wants to test this new kernel with my rom?
Still need testers to confirm stability and speed
Also need Neo V testers, because I don't have a Neo V
Feel free to test: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1518563

Is stock kernel, which doesn't let higher than 1.0 Ghz.
To OP: There aren't much ICS kernels yet, but I think I saw somewhere v2 kernel for some MiniCMSandwich ROM(I think) that allowed overclock.
I find it,thanks. This Kernel is here

Thanks a lot , but then I prefered to insall the "x10s" rom 'cause DonutHD hadn't the customization level that I spected :silly:
Doomkernel is the best.
Use the middium overclocked one.
I use that.
then , use setcpu to set to interactiveX scaling ( set on boot), adjust to ( min=245, max= 1113)
Smooth like butter, and battery friendly.

[Q] How to overclock Neo V

I've installed CWM and a app to overclock, but the max clock that appears is 1024, what should i do to get biggers clocks?
Get a kernel which support higher frequencies.
p.s. you need unlocked bootloader to flash custom kernels..

Make sure which Android version you are using.
Gingerbread (2.3.4)? Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.4)? Or even Jelly Bean (4.1)?
Then check this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313445
This is a post about all the ROMs and Kernels available for your phone.
Read the first posts of the provided links carefully, there you will find OC specs.
I recommend Nightelf and Suave for ICS and Galaxian and Nightelf for Gingerbread. Just test them.
Good luck and have fun!
