Is your memory card a legit retail bought card? Reason I ask is because some eBay/Chinese memory cards are counterfeit, and they do not hold the purported memory. It may say 32GB, but once you try copying 32GB of data over, the card's data is corrupted.

[Q] Formatting internal SD card

Hey guys, looking to sell me vibrant and want to clean the internal SD card. What is the best way of doing this? Thanks
Sorry if this has been asked :-/
sd card and phone storage, unmount/format. be certain to move important files to pc first.
I wish I stumbled on this thread weeks ago. I had to do it manually when I had to send my vibrant back to tmobile.

[Q] Star I9220 - Any Ideas?

Hi chaps,
I recently bought a Star i9220... running android 4.0 and pretty solidly built chinese phone...
It has an odd set up (to me anyway) for storage... it has 512mb internal, 2gb "usb" storage and my 16gb tflash... i have to go to /root/mnt to change what card I'm looking at in file explorer so it seems to have a second tflash card...
now i'm having issues as i've run out of storage on the 2gb memory apparently, and I was wondering if there was a way to move the apps to the sd card (the 16gb one) as when i move them to sd card it appears to be moving them onto the 2gb one...
is there an app i can get for it? I thought imight be able to change it internally but they have these weird cage type things which i can't work out how they are attached over the cards and as i've only had the phone for less than a month i don't want to destroy it... plus the accellerometer is out too....
any help would be much appreciated!!!
Hey brow, i think i have the same problem.
My china phone is A9550 (click here do see my review about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYoyoWa9wis)
and when i install something like games and app´s with data folders from external sd card (8gb) the system cant load the data of app´s.
Only work when a install it from internal memory (2gb) =(

[help] Swap internal and external SD card

Hello guys ....
i don't know if that's the right place to post ....
anyway , i'm using the cm10 v0.32 of badadroid , i wanted to install a lot of apps and games
but the space is very low , i'v tried to swap between SD cards with a flashabel content but no thing happened
and my external SD card just disappear .
Have you tried to move them manually? Some applications show me 0.00kb (in phone memory) and when it is moved manually on SD card everything is fine .
Just Change Vold.fstab ..
why you not ask to CM10 forum?
maybe they will fix it..

File support on 64 GB microSD (class 10) card

Hi Folks,
I recently upgrade the ROM to Stock Jelly Bean 4.3 (Ireland version) for Samsung Galaxy s3 i9300 and I had also purchased a 64 GB micro SD card which is class 10.
Before I flashed the ROM I had backed up all my data (pics, songs and videos) on my external hard drive.
When I copy all the files back to the my 64 GB sdcard..most of the file show to be corrupt and do not open with the respective app on my phone.
However there is nothing wrong with the files on the external hard disk they seem to be just fine.
Can someone tell me the reason for this and what I need to do to solve this issue..I have tried different formats like exFAT and FAT 32 but still the same issue..Please HELP
