hello everyone
in my father's, mother's, and my brother SGS2 the 3g doesn't work,
I'm pressing long on the power button and press on the mobile data switch.
but there is no "3g" icon in the notification bar
*the SGS2s are non-rooted, we don't want to lose the warranty
I checked the APN's and there are APN's configure

So as the question says, is there a way to make the roaming signal icon (the one with the exclamation just above the bars, its in the framework/resources file) show up when the bolt is on the 'Extended Network'? I just want to be able to differentiate when its going away to the Extended network vs being on the VZ network, without pulling down the notification bar?
Hi
if there a program that has widgets, which can change the network settings and turn on mobile network when pressed
i ask this because i use gsm alot and wifi while indoors but outdoors there is no need for wifi so i need a program that allows me to switch to these settings.
i actually need a prog that will change gsm to gsm/wcmda at a touch of a button, if possible also turn on modile data but the main thing is to change the gsm network mode.
thanks in advance
hello is there an app to toggle the 3g connection only to use just the internet??
i mean i use gsm mode to save battery but i need to use wcdma just for internet and mobile data without having to go every time to network settings and change it to wcdma then going back to gsm, so is there an app or widget to trigger just the H+ connection not the whole network mode?? thanks

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
i use power toggle.. it adds the 2g/3g toggle on the widget... but it is not a one button press system.. that toggle will take you to the settings for network and you can change it...
Experts,
Need some help. I was previously on OnePlus 3 and it had a toggle button in the notification drawer which allowed Data connection to be switched between the SIM's. I tried to look for the same toggle on the Pocophone but am not able to.
Does the phone have such a toggle or the only way of doing so is going in settings and then changing the data connection under SIM settings.
Thanks in advance.
I don't want to use the 5G antenna. When I navigate to:
Settings
->Network & internet
-->Mobile Networks
--->System Select
---->Network Mode
The Network Mode screen options are Global, LTE/CDMA, and LTE/GSM/UMTS. No matter which of those I select, within a few seconds, 5G shows on the top of the phone screen in the notification/status bar.
If I select LTE/GSM/UMTS, there is a Network Submode menu, which gives me 3 options: LTE/Legacy 3GPP multi, GSM/GPRS/EDGE only, and UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+. The bottom two options dont seem to work at all. The top one still says 5G in the notification/status bar, even after restarting the device.
Interestingly though, while 5G is showing at the top of the screen, when I navigate to the Network type and strength menu in Settings, it displays 4G -112dBm. Don't know why there is discrepancy between the notification/status bar display (5G) and the Network type and strength display (4G), and which one to believe. Am I not actually connected with 5G even though the notification/status bar icon says so?
Does anyone know whether or not 5G can be definitively turned off on a Verizon LG V60? Is there a code I can enter in the dialer to load a 'band selection' menu? Is there a third party app that works for the LG V60 that can accomplish this? Can I root it and accomplish this by plugging it into a computer? Or should I return this phone and buy an LG V40 without a 5G antenna instead? Thank you for your help.
did you try select network in hidden menu?
Dial *#*#4636#*#* => Phone information => Select in list . (NR is 5G)
