SNES9x EX - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Anyone getting random FCs while playing a game? Mine just exits to home every so often and it's rather annoying. If it happened to you and you found a fix please post!

Don't have the link handy, I presume it was from the authors site. I had the problems with version for android 2.3 and up, but the version for 2.2 works perfectly so far in the 10 or so games I tried.

Anyone got this working on Galaxy S 2?
Mine just resets to rom selection when trying to load an image.
(Worked fine on S1)
Same here. I tried 3-4 different Rom's ( also different File Types). None of them have worked. I hope there will be a solution soon.

It's currently not supported. Use FPse.

Thanx, will try it
yay! thanks for the tip
this works great!
Thanks Seems really good
Both Psx4droid and Fpse can't work on my SGS i9100.... Is there any solution yet ?
psx4droid is working perfectly for me on my i9100
make sure you have the latest version from the developers site as its no longer on the market
FPse works great for me, make sure you have grabbed your bios file also, been playing some grant tursimo 2 today

What version do you have? I have the latest version listed on their site and it doesnt work on my i9100.
Please help!
Same for me. Can't play any game. always return to Rom selection.
Fpse works perfect for me. Only a few games won't work. Be sure to have a right bios file. This is also needed for psx4droid.
There some games with issues. Tomb Raider 2 for example. So if it does not seem to work with fpse try another game.
The only serious problem i encountered with fpse was with Metal Gear Solid. I could not change the disc. With FFIX however changin discs worked well.
I find FPse works better. And if you're using an AOSP rom like CM7 you can also play with a PS3 sixaxis controller over bluetooth ;-)

Emulators?

What are some emulators you guys are using for your Atrix, for what games, what systems, etc. I'm going to start trying a ton but thought I'd fire up a conversation here on which emulators people prefer (if any for that matter) lol.
I use oid emus like gameboid (although they're not in the market anymore, I installed it with an apk) but it works great and can overclock... the Nintendo DS ones I use always seem to lag but works ok. By the way these are for Pokemon and Zelda games. They don't eat up too much power either, at least in my opinion. About 20%/hour of constant use.

Psx4droid running ff7, ff8 and ff9 gorgeously. Save states are awesome and the memcard files (.mmc) if renamed are compatible with epsxe on the computer

I've used Gameboid, psx4droid, and Snes9x ex, All with a Sixaxis(ps3) controller, and its extremely good if you like to play games in an emulator. All of those work pretty good, with out lag, too!
i cannt for the life of me get psx for droid to work any suggestions or pointers
im using 3.07

What DS Rom are you using? I cant seem to find one that works at all...
Gameboid is the best GBA emulator in my opinion. You cannot get it from the market anymore. But do a Google search and you can install it from an .Apk.

GameBoid, N64oid, Nesoid, Snesoid
I use the bluetooth Wiimote app and it works great.
Wiimote classic for N64 and Snes
and for gameboy and nes i use just the wii mote rotated.

Sorry, misread your question. I wouldn't say gbcoid is optimized for tablet screens as the virtual controller button placement could be a hindrance at times. Aside from that [very] minor occasional inconvenience, it's very playable. Especially because you can change the Scaling of the screen to fit your preference.
*If you have a bluetooth controller, I imagine it would be 100% perfect.

Remember to download the BIOS, so you can save your game progress as if you had a memory card.. etc.
You should give it a try, trust me.

Hey can you tell me the steps to get FPse working? i got the app and i installed the bios file. is there any like a specific place to save the bios file?
as for roms. do u have to do any steps? or just download from the site as a .bin file and copied it onto ur tablet? i copied the .bin file onto my tablet but FPse can't find it.
FPse. Since the last update added dual core optimization ... well everything just works, in fact it works TOO fast - I had to frame limit all my games and I had turned on all the tweaks. Tekken III runs beautifully. Additionally the sixaxis bluetooth controller works great with it.

[EMULATOR FOR GBA] Run GameBoy Advance emulator on android 2.3.4

Till some days ago, I was using mojo gba lite for playing my favorite games from Gameboy Advance (.gba format)...but after I updated my samsung galaxy fit s5670, running 2.2, to the official gingerbread update 2.3.4, the app stopped loading my .gba files...I just get a black screen, though with the onscreen controls still visible (but not usable), and my phones menu button also didn't produce any response from the app...after which the app just closes...
I read some comments on the market page, and other people were also facing the same problem...
I tried other gba emulators, but none have worked so far on my phone (with 2.3.4)...
Please help!!!

The old GameBoid by yongzh works fine on my Blade (2.3.7). You can grab from SlideMe, since it has been removed from the market http://slideme.org/application/gameboid .
Okay, this version is working fine!!!
Though the vibration is little annoying...
But hey, I AM HAPPY!!!

Thank you!
I tried it and another bunch of GBA emulators on a JXD s5110 and the best of all was GameBoid. You can read it on my blog: retro-android.blogspot.com.es/2013/01/android-gameboy-advance-emulation-using.html

[Q] Fpse Gaming

HI, Does anyone have tried playing with fpse on their galaxy S3? Is it super smooth for games like FFVII (no drop of fps transitioning to battle), FFVIII (fmvs) and so on.

Haven't yet tried my FF7 with it, but Tekken 3 via software GPU plugin and with 32bit rendering/anti-aliasing etc runs very well (near constant 60fps).
Check it out here @8mins55s:
Will have a go at some stage soon with FF7 and let you know if someone doesn't beat me to it.
Yeah do post what settings you're using ff7 on fpse with. My sound in ff7 is ****. Psxdroid seems to be playing games better than fpse. Also psxdroid is free now that it's being developed independently off the google play

I think you can tick spusync to make the sound better in ff7. I have tried that and the sound is a lot better. My only problem is when going into battle. The transition is just too laggy
I've ripped my Jedi Power Battles and Street Fight EX Plus Alpha disks and used them with FPse, they both run really well. For some reason none of the games I've downloaded work, only the two I've ripped works.
